This app used to be pretty decent for getting local news. Now it loads ads instead of articles. Sometimes there will be one of two real articles at the top of the page, followed by a dozen advertisements designed to look like news. Sometimes no actual articles load at all...ONLY ADS. Beyond useless.
It changed when updated I'm on an Android phone and now when I live steam I cant get it show the whole screen . I have to keep scrolling up and down to see reporters and headline text at the bottom. Other than that I love this app I use it daily for my construction job. Shout out to Jim Howard long time fan. Good ol neither of either and the double nickel 😎😎 I stuck my foot in my mouth it a new update that fix it i just hadn't done it yet
I loved this app. It was my go to for local news and weather. Now when I tap on the news...I get a page full of links to garbage stories...nothing about my local news. I have to now go into the main menu to select Local News. Sadly...I will be uninstalling and finding an app from another news station.
This app was o.k. intil they instituted autoplay ads in the weather section. I JUST WANT TO SEE THE DAMN WEATHER WITHOUT BEING INTERRUPTED. It is especially a problem when using the app in a public place, the ads play without being on-screen, you have to scroll down to stop them.
Hit and miss, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. You get a notification and click on it the app opens and you can not see it. You then have to dig around and maybe you will eventually find the story you started off hoping to see.
I watch Witn weather daily but I can never get them to give me the high temperature of current day,! This has encouraged me to watch any network. Very unhappy that WITN can't say or show s one second flash of the high temperature for the day
Since the last update, its very difficult to tell what articles are real or advertisements. I will not be using it anymore until this changes. I come to this app to get unbiased news, not ads.

Weather on the go ? Where??? That information is never accurate. So NOW YOU HAVE TO INSTALL WITNS SEPERATE WEATHER APP. This is no where as good as it used to be. By the way, I guess this is suppose to be new and improved and ALWAYS COMES OUT WORSE!
No longer useful. Used to be useful. Even after deleting and reinstalling it does not work well. I'm changing to another news source. To keep whatever is left of your user base you should revert these charges.
Terrible since last update. Takes too long to load articles. Very glitchy. Uninstalling now, after having it a very long time.
The Weather Radar Map IN THIS APP does not have a Find Me feature. So unless you know where you are in NC, you may as well use the WITN Weather App that will give you the Blue Dot to show you where you are, because this WITN NEWS app, doesn't.
Used to be great. Now when you click on weather it plays a commercial which can then plY over the weather. Becomes unusable for weather. Will be deleted.
Takes forever to open, if it opens at all. Most times it doesn't open. Somebody needs to upgrade this app!

I just opened my WITN app and saw 2 news reports and the rest is nothing but click bait ads. I used to love this app but it's become a pile of trash
The app has stopped updating any recent news that I'm seeing on other news apps. The same stories are there over and over again
I don't like the voice announcing the breaking news. Moreover, I can never see any "alert" on my phone.
the app works ok but after I cut it off it plays the weather forecast through my speaker even though im not in the app anymore
This app is total garbage now. Just shows spam articles. Hard to find the local news.
It is very liberal on its news cast does not give equal time to conservative opinion. Weather is pretty acurate for obx
After the latest update it will not go to full screen on my LG Stylo 6. Fix this issue and you will get 5 star rating.

The problems listed below have resurfaced. Will not load on andeoid phone or tablet. I've unstalled/reinstalled with no luck. This used to be a great app. Something has changed over the last 2 weeks. Now the article never appears, it just spins. This is true on both my phone and tablet.
