WIVB News 4

This app works wonderfully. It's not intrusive, I downloaded it due to lack of other news with no cable, and I've gotten quiet, regular updates on what I want. It's easy to adjust the notifications, etc... Perfect. A LOT of news sites are overly intrusive and it's made me wary- but this seems to fit the bill wonderfully.

All of a sudden all I get is a colorful picture of WIVB News 4 No stories nothing. The programmers that do the updating of this app should probably go find another job!

If I could give zero stars I would. Pretty sure the developers of this garbage app don't read the comments. I press on the weather icon and it tells me about a tornado in a different county from two months ago. Doesn't load alot of other content too. And yes, I uninstalled and reinstalled as usual. Buh bye wivb!

I miss the old version where it just showed the weather & it was easy to navigate. Even tho I clicked on no notifications except weather, other notifications pop up. Also it didn't display the weather on my homepage. I'm uninstalling to find another app. I'm sorry I updated from the old version.

It's a great app and allows me to browse stories I feel are relevant. My only complaint is that the last update no longer allows me to watch the news in landscape mode. While using my Galaxy S9+ if I rotate the phone the doesn't rotate with it.

Tons of notifications, and no way to select what you want other than just turning them off. And if you tap on the notification, it doesn't take you to the news article. Just goes to the home page.

I like the web site but wish there was a way to view report it pictures from the weather segments. Some are absolutely georgeous and it would be nice to copy for later viewing or sharing. Please think about showing pictures on website.

This app never works I mean never. It's just like Buffalo to make something that don't work. Glad I left this sorry town

Not as good as the old setup. Too much news and ads makes app slow and buffer.. When you just want to check weather...you're better off sticking your head out the window..this app stinks.

Unable to view video only audio.

This app has gotten pretty weird in the past few weeks. The temp on my status bar had been disappearing and just showing blank. And after unistalling and reinstalling, this has shown me in Spain.

Keeps freezing since the last update. Worthless now.

The old weather app was much better. Very sad to lose it.

Gives headlines but won't allow you to get the important details of the stories without watching live shows. If I was able to watch the live shows I wouldn't need the app! Useless and frustrating!!!

I absolutly prefer the channel 4 app over the other local news app. They ALWAYS are up to date an NEVER ever glitch like the others have! Thank you for all of the awesome storys posted! Keep up the GREAT job. 😀

I like the new layout of Channel 4 WIVB! Most of the notifications are not working. The video streaming keeps buffering under wi-fi

Unable to manage notification settings, there is no drop box to choose. Alerts are not working. Is any one else experience this issue?

Way too many ads and would not let me get you the featured story. Automatically opened videos and MMS under the cover story. Why bother to try and get your news here, they have nothing to offer except frustration.

Can someone help me on this. Hi i updated the wivb news app app and the app is saying I do not have internet connection. It did not happen on update before the new one. I use android. My internet on my cell does work I can surf internet using chrome on Android. I rebooted my phone I even installed the wivb app and did not fix the problem. I emailed this to your contact list on here i got a email saying my email was blocked. I tried my wifi at home and still saids i am not connected to internet. My android cell phone is running android system 7.0 please fix.

I don't like this new setup. The way it worked before was so much better. Being able to go from clip to clip without having to click and click.

Update is a total failure. It either doesn't work at all or freezes up. Disappointing. Will uninstall.

Since updating to new version don't get any notifications or alerts old version was far better you need to come up with an update to your app that's going to fix everything.

WIVB has given us the best news app in Western New York Not only does it play back all newscast. It updates the latest news sports and weather in a very personal way

I'm glad that i had this app on my phone because we no longer able to watch it on Direct tv. We watched your news every morning and sometimes nights.. Wish an hopeing to get you back again.

Notifications keep turning themselves back on after I turn them off so I'm getting constant notifications for trivial things. Uninstalled.

Your app is especially helpful with dish being money conscience. Miss the weather reports always accurate. Channel four also has the best programing so the app is great.

Love this app, I can easily check weather and news anywhere in an instant. Helps when your constantly outdoors.

Pretty good except why can't I make videos full screen? I can do it on website but should be able to in the app as well.
