I've had three bulbs for maybe a year now and for the most part they worked fine. I guess the bulbs aren't compatible with my new Comcast router or something because I'd get the notification that the firmware couldn't download without any real explanation. I did everything to make my phone and wifi compatible for two days now. I'm passing them on to a friend who is more techy so hopefully they have better luck.

These lights are so hit and miss. They are always disconnecting and I have to reset them to make them work again. Tried everything support suggested (even changing port settings on the router which I as the customer really shouldn't have to do). All my other smart bulbs work fine. The positive thing is the bulbs give out a nice bright light when working.

EVERY TIME I open the app lately, it tries to launch in a URL and says page not found, then when I close that, it opens to a terms of service page that is blank that I have to close before I can get to the app. Not the end of the world, but annoying nonetheless. It never used to do that. Otherwise the app is pretty good.

It works well as a standalone app. But, it's not consistent with Alexa or Google Home. I bought it to work with the latter two apps. Not consistent at all. After numerous attempts with support, who was very nice, it still doesn't work. Wemo, Dyson, Lutron, etc., all work well with Alexa and Google Home. UPDATE: Constantly resetting up. Chat support takes 2 to 3 hours. Sometimes they get it working only to fail later.

I love this light. Starting out it took some time getting familiar with the app. I contacted help, received an immediate response and low and behold, I was doing it wrong. (Probably all the negative is based on user error as well). Customer Support was fast, knowledgeable and respectful. I definitely have it down and have ordered more products

My first smart device is a smart globe and love it. Wiz connected straight away without issues. Also about to add 2nd smart device, the smart light remote, without issues. I'm so lazy my light switch is 60cm away and still need the remote. To be even more lazier, Linked up Wiz with google assistant on my phone and now just ask google to turn light off or on or half way. Love the schedule function on the app. I set the light to go on when my alarm on my phone goes on. Really helps me to wake up.

Every time I go into the app it takes me to terms and conditions page which just gives a page not found error. At least I can then continue to use the app. I have two lights in the room and I want them to be set the same way. But it keeps reverting. Very annoying.

Could be better with the uiux, I thought the only way to control multiple lights was the Rhythms feature. I might missed something. For someone who struggle out there, There is another way, you can group lights by drag it to one of main light, it will group the lights and now you should be able to control them manually at once without Rhythms.

An hour of messing with it and every time it comes back with wrong password or cant connect to server. I never ever wanted any Philip's products in my home because they have crummy quality control since the 70's. I broke down and tried this because my son got one. Bulb and remote work ok. Just 4 selections of colors. I tried the Wiz app. First you get slammed with a long giant multi page terms of use. They have total freedom to share all your data. I just got WIZ'ed on! A chimp could do better.

I would love all the options that this app has if it would just work properly! It seems to lose connection connection to my Wi-Fi or something quite often. The amount of different options for the lights is pretty amazing though.

The app hogs the battery on a regular basis. I'm using it through the Device Controls on Android 12 and sometimes Wiz accounts for more than 30% of my battery usage on a single day. Sometimes some lights are unavailable from the Device Control tiles and they show as "Loading...". I guess that's what hogs the battery, the app keeps searching and uses power.

The lights themselves are good enough.(Big E27 bulbs) Connecting them was easy, but I can see how it can get overwhelming for some people, it is a bit "messy". The app is useful, I applaud you for the wake-up function. I have some gripes however: - the "scene" function should be replaced with a function to "save current setup"! So much simpler! - once a custom colour is saved, it cannot be edited or removed, I am now stuck with a slightly off orange.

App seems ok but the (not so) smart light bulbs are a complete waste of time and money. Consistently having issues losing connection to WiFi; they work about 50% of the time. Also, one bulbs suddenly decided to stop working with Google Home and am not able to reconnect it. Started using Wiz app again and now a different bulb is offline. I have wasted more time messing with this nonsense in the last 2 weeks than I would have operating all electrical equipment in my home for the next decade.

Keeps failing to connect devices, or fail firmware update on connected devices. Zero feedback from the app as to what's going on or what the issue is. Contacting support will give you an auto response with a wall of text for things to try, regardless of your actual issue (they didn't even ask what the issue was, just pasted the wall of text and didn't respond after that). I'll probably just return the lights as they're useless...

The lights are great. But they are very temperamental with connections. For example a bank of 10, gu10s, the connection will be lost with at least 2 out of the 10. Which makes the set up pointless. I have tried a WiFi bridge to take the IP load of my main router. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Given 2 stars. Just cause the lights are good, when they work In unison, which, sadly is rare!

I don't usually rate apps but this is a special kind of awful experience. I've tried to connect one single bulb for 20 minutes. The first puzzle is to get the bulb to flash blue. This requires impeccable timing. If you switch apps or make a mistake, you will have to go back through the menu. Every time you have to go back to the menu you have to retype the Wi-Fi password. When I finally got to the temporary Wi-Fi network to connect to I connected to it but the app did not move forward. Help.

The app itself is easy to use. The problem is it doesn't work 90% of the time. the lights are supposedly connected but unresponsive, then they disconnect & refuse to connect again & support is minimal. "let me tell you the same 3 steps repeatedly & refuse to acknowledge that they're not working" They call it a chat but it's not like you're connected with someone who answers in a reasonable timeframe, you will wait for hours. The app doesn't even give notifications when they do answer. -10/10

Not the worst smart light app, but definitely room for improvement. A few suggestions for the devs: - Dark mode! It's blinding to open the app in the early morning. - An ability to make custom lighting animations (i.e. go to this preset, wait 30 seconds, fade to the next preset colour / brightness etc) would be nice, and is included by many competitors. Useful for making custom 'sunrise' and 'sunset' animations. - An ability to set the 'fade in' time for schedules.

The app is very handy to have if you like the idea of different color lights or having a sensor to turn off the lights if you keep forgetting. However it would be better if there was a setting that allowed you to schedule when the sensor turns off because its sensors me at night and wakes me up so I have to turn it off manually every night then on again every morning. But apart from that the app is really good

This app used to be great. The color options are great, the preset themes are pretty and we use party mode a lot! The connection to the lights is absolutely horrible. When I select a room (so all lights in a specific room are selected) and try to change the lights, only half change, even though the app shows all of them are connected and selected. This happens 100% of my uses too. Its so annoying and I have to keep selecting until the app FINALLY updates.

Worst app and product I have experienced in a long time. Unbelievably frustrating experience. Trying to connect to light "WiFi credentials incorrect". Excuse me? I am on my wifi, I think I have the credentials correct. Researching router settings for an hour, no changes. Reach out to tech support "Please keep light within 10 feet of router and not under an enclosure". Yeah, no thanks. Easiest return of my life.

App is really really bad. Can't sign in, have to reset the app 4 times to get my lights working, can't enable the google integration. You will have an easier time using transluscent colored film to change the color of your lights than this app.

Satisfied with the pairing and usage with the app. I have a problem that whenever I open the app an acknowledgement page came up but didn't load anything and redirects to a website "wizconnect" which return "page not found". I can bypass the acknowledgement page by pressing the exit sign but I didn't like going though the procedure again and again everytime I execute the app. Please rectify.

Trying to put old a19 on new wifi. Light does not flash as predicted. App launches and says session expired relaunch app every time I launch it. Light set to warm comes on cold. No blink, but wiz comes up in wifi. Ok, try manual config and the message is "can't contact wiz servers." Yeah, because you're on some wiz intranet wifi. Why should you need to, btw? I'm just updating the network. I'm not looking for updates. Are you saying it talks to your server every time it turns on?

Lights get disconnected a bit easily on they're own. A bit hard to use the app. And it takes a bit longer than preferred to load in and connect to the light to control them in app, aside from that fairly okay.

Lights are nice the app is absolutely garbage. Just stick with hue and return these they don't work properly with my Google home and im constantly having to close the app turn the lights off then turn the back on to have the app connect. It takes way to much effort to make these lights work

Terms of use is unavailable. When ever I'm opening the app, the Acknowledgment is unavailable. Even I reser the app Or reinstalled the app. I've tried in 3 phones. And result is I have to close the acknowledgment page and enter the app. Please do something. Overall app is nice and user interface too.

The app shows terms and conditions screen everytime I open it, and redirects to a page on browser but that page is unavailable and returns 404. On returning back to app, a white screen is displayed with a disabled button to accept terms and conditions. Please fix this issue asap.
