Good information source for local things. One star due to advertisement auto playing with no way of muting the sounds. Also need to be careful, the advertisements are setup looking just like news feeds. I really dislike apps taking over my phones audio. Then take in the fake feeds... Do better WJHL so many good app developers in the area.
New update made app difficult to use. Slow to scroll through. Weather is hard to find with all the add placement. Older version was much better. WJHL used to be the first app I clicked on for both weather and local news, now it's the last.
Who needs to pay for cable I can get all the news I want on this app and it's just as good if not better
Love how they cover the region of the South West Virginia area where I live and where I go to the Tri-Cities. Good news crew and center! 💯
Very happy with the ease of navigation, visual appearance, and fluid function. Ads aren't very intrusive.

App is constantly freezing. I have to close it out and reopen to try to check weather and so on. If it's fixed I'll give a better rating.
Uses way too much background data. I will turn it off, it will update and turn it right back on.
Constantly freezing up before I finish an article. The weather app also has problems.
Would like to see a greater certainty or reliability in live prodcasts. It seems to be a hit and miss situation. When the app says they will be right back it is hours before they are back on the air.
App is just "ok." Nothing special. Biggest complaint is the lack of ability to share stories from within the app. Very annoying.

I like the news and weather alerts that I get from this app. This is my favorite channel for news information.
Freeze up or won't load and sat at all and on my Android cell phone is the only way I have to hear weather and other local news I can't afford cable or dish so I never hear anything haven't in months

I ve watched channel 11 news since I was a child with my parents especially for the weather they are more accurate than the weather channel
I get better and more accurate news by word of mouth. Very dissatisfied with the content.
Pop up adverstisements prevent viewers from reading news. It's not worth the trouble so I am uninstalling the app.
Never works only thing i get to see are adds its horrible and i have no other means of watching local news 😕
I downloaded the app last night and it still want open.. What have I done wrong? I deleted it cause it didn't open up..

Auto rotate no longer works when trying to watch a live broadcast. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and rotation is turned on. It works fine on the Wjhl weather radar app. There should be no difference between the two apps. Please fix this. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S9 on the Verizon network. Other than this issue, I love WJHL News. It has the most accurate news and weather in this area.
