WKRN – Nashville’s News 2

Hardly ever loads stories, can only read the first paragraph while it tries to load forever. EDITED: How do yall manage to make an app worse and worse? This app never plays videos and ALWAYS freezes. DO NOT USE THIS APP FOR EMERGENCIES AS IT WILL LEAVE YOU HIGH AND DRY.

Up to date news, weather and traffic. I love this app. I only use News 2 for all news now. The others I have un installed. I was reeled in to news 2 when I received a traffic report causing a back up to my work and another station reported it 30 minutes later. Excellent work News 2.

This app is an excellent source of pertinent news,weather,and sports related to the middle Tennessee area that I can access anywhere. I enjoy the weather radar's quick download capability. Channel 2 is the only local news affiliate app I use.

I love this app. I don't get cable or satellite tv so I really enjoyed the live stream but since new update there is no sound. I cannot enjoy the team which disappoints me. I can still hear on the weather app and otherwise the app is great.

I loved this app..until the latest update. Before I could swipe across through all the stories, now I have to click each one, then go back to the previous screen. not a big deal, but definitely annoys me.

I watch News 2 all the time , so the app is great when I travel in Nashville, Tennessee, or out of the state! I have this app also on my Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8 tablet! It's easy and fun, I love it!

I love news 2 especially the good morning Nashville in the mornings because Neil is a trip on there most of the time but he is serious more than goofy on there thanks news 2 Nashville for getting my day started

Stories partially load. Ap freezes when openned.

After update, I receive error message that app cannot connect to internet. I uninstalled and reinstalled and get the same error message. All other apps and internet working. Will need to install a different news app

I just wanted weather alerts. I have turned off all notifications expect for weather. The news notification keeps automatically turning itself on. Ive turned it off 5 times. Its a scam

Terrible. It was a decent app until this last update. Absolutely horrible to use. You can't make the weather map larger and it no longer shows your current location. Uninstalled.

Slow, clumsy and jumpy. It's bad enough I have to read and listen to all of bias and pure extremism but the poor update is terrible. I am going to find a better local app.

no sound, I miss my favorite news channel, please fix and you will be plus 5 stars, I've deleted and reinstalled 4 times over the last few weeks, please I'm begging get this fixed, I miss my news during the morning with my favorite crew

Ok app same generic app others use. Problem is all of the advertisements. They are so annoying and pop up to cover the whole screen. Horrible practice

Have tried 4x since Saturday to install. Keep getting error message that there is no info from server and blank screen with only formatting/layout. Samsung 9s+.

Nashville is the home town I left in 1977. I still love to keep up with things and this app let's me do that without clogging me up with "pushed" items. THANKS.

You cannot watch the latest weather videos on the app which is all I want out of a nap weather app I should be able to watch the weather that's what I want to do I can't watch it on their app and now that they came out but damn app you can watch it on Google like you used to could what the hell's the problem with showing us your ladies weather videos

Absolutely great, always love News 2 and they're funny humor! Great app but sometimes the live stream has problems but always up to date!👍👍

The inability to open a story to read without automatically staring video that cannot be muted makes it impossible to use the app in most environments where ambient noise is unappreciated by others.

Have lived in middle TN 46 yrs and have always prefered WKRN news coverage. Thanks for updating this app. I rely on channel 2 for accuracy in information.

They are spot on with their TORNADO WARNINGS!!! Love Danielle Breezy, best Meteorologist WE ever had!!! I got to star in a commercial for Channel 2 and it ran for 3 years, got to meet some great people, I WAS STOPPED everywhere l went and asked about Channel 2,,it was unbelievable how much recognition l got just from that 1 Commercial,, Wish they would ask me to do another one because OF this pandemic WE need Channel 2 news to keep US informed. LET ME SING YOUR PRAISES AGAIN, PLEASE!!!😊🙂🤗😉

The app pushes notifications but will not open. I have reinstalled several times without luck.

You have to open it every time not like other apps

It doesnt have rotating screen option and strait up and down screen to small i prefer the 1st version of wkrn app thats not available anymore

This new app keeps locking up my phone when viewing radar. Loved the radar feature in the prior version. Had to uninstall.

Easy to open and view weather in maps, hourly or daily forcasts as well as traffic situations,. Really satisfied with it

Never loads stories that I get alerts for. Also half the time the app never loads.

This app is great. It delivers all the news I need, instant updates and weather. 👍

Love the anchors and their stories and topics that are highlighted. Our favorite is Haley Wilguis as she is from Florida and followed her.
