Its a great app, but the ads are getting annoying. Im fine with the pop-up one when the app first loads, but the 30 second ad that likes to play at the beginning of the video (starting last month) is annoying especially on a 5 second video. I normally can back out and click on the video again to get the shorter ad, but they are getting stubborn about playing that long ad. The hourly by hourly video goes by way to quick for me to see whats happening and when. Thinking about switching apps.
It used to be a great app. Even followed me on vacation and saved me from a hurricane. But now, the notifications aren't working and by the time I get them the weather is passed. Also the sounds on the app no longer work. IDKwhy. I've double checked from my end multiple times.
It was great at first, but now it wont let me check the weather. I've tried updating everything, uninstalling it then re installing it. And still nothing. I've even gone to resetting my phone. I love this weather app but for some reason, on my phone, it wont tell me nothing. I have to have someone else check the weather or physically go online to check it. Please fix it.
Unlike the iphone version, the android version of the app is pretty bad. It has a heavy battery drain and doesn't air Danielle's voice for the advisories/watches/warnings or updates like the iPhone version does. Same goes for the main news 2 app with the battery drain.
A lot of times, the radar isn't very accurate. Also gives me alerts on other areas that are not even remotely close to me. And they spam their alerts. I love news 2, which is the only news channel I will watch, but the app could be better. I will continue to use it though.
Was a great app. Now they have started showing 30 second ads to watch a 60 second weather video. Gfys channel 2
Nice app, does well. Like all weather apps there is not enough ability to set different sounds for different alerts. Example a siren for a tornado, a thunder sound for lightling. Different sounds for hail etc
I'm giving this one star because we have had multiple storms and this thing was fully frozen when trying to use it! This is a weather tracker for a huge city on a major network. This is truly the worst app I have on my phone.
I've had this app 3 years and liked it but now every time I get a weather alert it comes on with 2-3people in the background talking not in sink and won't shut off. Please fix. I really want to install it but it is driving me crazy
This app was working beautifully, as of right now I wouldn't give you two cents for it. I can't check the radar, the future forecast or even the local temperature. I did get tornado watch alert but only after I'd seen it on t.v..
I get the News 2 Alert, but it is so loud it startles me every time. I have no clue how to turn volume down on this app. Turning my phone volume down doesn't help. I'm about ready to uninstall.
Was a great app, but now it crashes everytime I go into it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it and still the same issues. Been doing this for about a month now.
App seems broke now. Huge delay to get hourly, weely, and radar. Seems to hang on loading videos, displays current temp at 0. Stop loading videos first ........... unless requested!
Generally unhelpful. A map without legends is useless. Without anyone to translate the information, the weather information is lost on the layman.
Bad weather happens and app shuts down and doesn't work. I have more access to Facebook than I do to this app. Removing app, just wasting space.
My app wont let me upload pics. I have had it for a few years and never have been able to upload pics on it other then that it's been an ok app a little late sometimes on something's but overall ok
It notifies you after the weather had happened. One morning it was raining extremely hard and after it quit raining the app told me there was hard rain in my area.
Will you please, for the love all things holy, fix the station notifications? I turn them off and they magically get re-enabled. It is extremely annoying
performance worse last 2 upgrades: too much superflous info; too much data etc. request 'lite version' -- radar & daily forecast only --- uninstalled this app.
Everytime I get an alert I get multiple voices at one time. Hard to understand what they are saying.
It would give a new alert but when I went into watch the clip all I could get is an advertisement for Donelon Air, over and over again.
I hate all the storm tracker alerts. They are not true alerts. Very annoying.
I feel like it could be a great app, and I have actually tried installing it four different times. Unfortunately, it doesn't allow me to use any of the navigation. I can't scroll or select anything, even after restarting my phone, and uninstalling and reinstalling the app on multiple occasions. Disappointing.
