It probably provides the most thorough reporting on any given story, as compared to other local stations. But the app constantly opens alerts to ads, and if you try to close the ad, the app won't open. The field where stories appear scrolls to multiple ads and some dubious news sites. I'd rather watch your TV news broadcasts and deal with the app only if I feel I have to.

No news on weekends, sometimes won't load up, goes back to top after reading article. News happens everyday, why can't we have up to date news EVERY DAY OF WEEK!!!, this app doesn't let you share like it used to, doesn't open 98% of the time and as stated above doesn't give news updates. Even the weather app doesn't stay up to date, nor does live poll have their daily poll! Maybe sam dick did everything! Sux bad since he left!

The app was nice until the last update. For a while it would only let you see an article for maybe 5 seconds and then go white. Now it is opening a full screen ad as soon as the app starts with no way to close it other than closing the app. Not sure what they changed, but they need to revert it until they can make it work correctly.

The app is just really bad... very disorganized and sloppy. I get the push notifications and I once got one for a very serious news story and when I click to see it, I cant see it without watching an ad first. Which I feel is really disrespectful. Regular news stories, yeah sure. But things like shootings or other serious stories.... have some decency to not monetize it with an ad.. And then you've got the absolutely bogus sponsored clickbait "articles" thrown in...its just bad.

Nice to see that they've fixed the sundial-speed page rendering problem... speed is OK now. That having been said, maybe they could add code to remember where you were in the feed when you clicked on an article and return you there instead of back at the top of the feed. That would be a welcome enhancement/fix.

Until the latest update, this was a decent need app. Now it is unusable. It is horribly slow to update and everytime I open an article, the article disappears after about 10 seconds. I suspect it is trying to load an ad. Running the latest Android version too

The news itself is fine, but the app drives me crazy. It takes a while to load & often tries to reload while I'm reading an article, sometimes getting stuck & requiring me to select it again. This is a frustrating regular occurrence.

Well this used to be my go-to for my news but lately i cannot get the app to open. Ive tried to delete and download it again a few times and it still just crashes. This has been happening for awhile now. So i decided to review and tell you that its garbage. Running the latest android so its the app not my phone.

Wkyt has become a liberal news outlet with biased content creating click bait head lines for more clicks and view ad incentives. I could care less about political affiliation whether it be conservative or liberal. I just want the news without reporting and scripts trying to persuade one way or another.....Wkyt has a good weather app though...so there's that..

I've had this app for about a year and really enjoyed having it until recently. I've noticed every time I've got on there for the past month or so or at least the last several weeks half the stories are old stories and they say they were from this morning and they've been on there forever and I can't do it anymore I need the space on my phone sorry until it gets better I'm uninstalling

When tapping on the alert notification, 90% of the time the app NEVER loads. The articles are poorly written and not very well articulated. They lack logical information and do not address the headline in most cases.

I love the WKYT crew they keep us up to date in all that is going on in not only our state but the world. God bless all of you.

Great until the last update. I used to prefer the app and news station over WLEX. Now it's slow and the article disappears while reading. SO FRUSTRATING!! I decided to just delete it.

Get rid of the ads. I clicked a weather notification and got prompted to install something, this crosses the line and its greedy. The ads are too much and its shady. It feels very icky and dishonest.

After the latest update app is horrible. Can't open a new story and read it. It goes to a blank screen. Also very slow.

it worked well for a while but now I do not get breaking news notification. Android galaxy note 5, reinstalled app and made sure the notifications are on but still not working :(

Stop the app from going back to the top every time we read an article. Yes I've seen the one's I want to read i just want to look at the older article's that are older instead of having to scroll all the way back down time an time again for God's sake

I used to love this app on my Pixel XL phone. Now it will not play video on my new OnePlus 8 phone on TMobile. This inability to play your video content make this a useless app for me.

All you see now is old news. Does not refresh. It does not work properly. Used to love this app. Past month keeps getting worse. Something needs fixed.

Changing news app. App takes a long time to open. When reading news article app restarts itself. Tired of dealing with this app.

Please fix this app. This is my go to news and the app has been messing up for months now. I dont like to be negative but if you dont know there is a problem, it cant be fixed. Thank you

Last update ruined a good app. Slow loading, won't open news stories, and frequently crashes.

The app never loads. I get a notification of breaking news, go to the app, and nothing. Please address this devs because it's it been going on for literally a year.

This app was a 3 star for me until I recently opened it and was greeted by a video ad with unmuted sounds. Thanks for waking my family.

I'm having alot of video interrupting saying they can't play or having trouble playing it. When playing with no problem it's great love my live Streaming News on 27

I agree with David M. I just thought it was an error on my part. Full screen ad that I can not get out of, so I can't read news stories. Please fix!
