WLTX News19 Columbia

I scrolled down looking at the latest news reports, and I am constantly sent back to news I wasn't interested in. Then after every 30 seconds or so, I am sent to the very top and I have to scroll all the way down to I was. Just to have the feed go all the way to the top after 30 seconds. What a waste of time and WLTX frustrating me. I'll get the news the old fashioned way... i will watch television. Uninstalling this now. UPDATE-it is easier on Roku Streaming.

Not caring for the new update. I can't get out of an article without the entire app closing. Aesthetically, it's nice but it takes too long to get the opening page to go away to get to the news. I dont mind change when it's better, but so far I'm really missing the old WLTX app. Update 10/9/19 - deleting the app. Hate hate hate the update. Very slow, can't find up-to-date traffic info, and news is pretty irrelevant. I sincerely miss the old app

In app audio doesn't seem to be working. Not helpful when I'm trying to check up on tornado warnings on the live stream.

My only news station I watch... But, they should add more scientific data from other countries about the dangers of the vaccine instead of bowing down to our liberal government 🙄 Very sad.

I was really enjoying having this app and then today it just stops working. It wont open at all. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and turning my phone off and back on again and still the app will not work. Up until today I really liked the app. It kept me up to date on local news stories and was reliable. Sadly, I'm going to uninstall it and find a new local news app to use.

The new app looks nice but unfortunately it doesn't perform very well for me. The animations and scrolling are very sluggish and choppy to the point where it's unusable. Seems like it needs optimization for lower end devices.

I truly enjoy this app I use it all the time. I travel alot so I want to stay updated on what's happening in South Carolina. This app is missing one feature and that's the Cast to feature. So I can cast the video to the TV when I'm out of town because I can't catch this news in other states. Thanks in advance.

Everytime I try to open a video it starts with a long commercial. The commercial plays well, but when it gets to the video I tried to view, all it does is buff. Video will not play.

Enjoy WLTX! I used to watch WIS, but the way they have treated their news people in the past just leaves a lot to be desired. For awhile, it seemed they were trying to get rid of everyone that was there. Since changing to WLTX, I get my news and weather like I like it. Thanks!

Worked originally. Idk if it's my phone but app never loads complete story now. Main window opens then stops,screen pops up says stopped and then report, I report but it never does a bit of good. Installed, reinstalled several times. :(

App works great and you get local updates on what is happening quickly. Ad's get a little annoying sometimes that's why only 4 stars. But love the new design from the previous one.

I love WLTX and their app. It keeps me updated just about every hour on weather, breaking news, etc.. I'm a busy person so I'm not always around my television so this is a GREAT alternative along with their facebook live videos.

I love watching wltx I especially love to see Whitney doing the news she always seems so happy and she is so beautiful

Yea they fixed it . Used for years on my s8+. In the last 6 months scrolling is not smooth and app crashes and resets phone. Now it is crashing on my Tab S4.

I've always been a fan of WLTX as long as I can remember!! I was sad when I had to download it again on my Samsung, after there was a some sort of glitch. So glad to have it back on my phone as my "go to" news app!!

I have been following WLTX News 19 for over to decades. There news reporting is done with accuracy and professionalism. They make corrections as needed to ensure the news is accurate as possible.

Easy to navigate.... Spot-on NEWS and local interest info.... WLTX app Rocks!!!! Their TV-LIVE reporters and announcers are pretty cool too.🎛***📹***💻***📺

I loved this app until recently. Now it won't open. I get the splash screen, the advertisements, and then nothing. It won't give me the news. I'm just staring at the splash screen.

WLTX-19 IS THE BEST!!! I am a teacher, a grad student, and a church secretary! I do not have time to watch the news. The WLTX app keeps me informed with notifcations so that I can stay in the loop. Thanks, Channel 19!

AWESOME job covering stories in the Midlands & surrounding area. Also excellent job on weather condition changes. My opinion 👍🏽across the board.

Very informative. I enjoy the speedy, unbiased, friendly, and detailed experience I get in acquiring the news around me from this app.

I love my WLTX app! I get morning weather reports to help me plan my day and news alerts as well as traffic reports. I watch the news on tv but on the app i can choose the stories that interest me.

Great and informative experience. I can find everything except for the Restaurant reportcard. Have to Google it.

Great news station. I believe the 4:30 am show is the best all day because of the anchor. She brings a smile and important information to everyone's day. Best way to start a day.

To many ads and jumps around its hard to read a story, I liked the other one better.

I dont think the new app is as user friendly as the first app. Also there were things on the old app that are not on the new one, (at least I can't find them). I was using the weather Almanac and now it's no longer there.

It's a smooth experience on the app and the push notifications keep me in the know on breaking news.

Timely and precise news. When I get a notice of news, I always open it so that I am informed.

I can never see the see different news stories or voting selections. The website is the same way...not user friendly at all.
