WMAR ABC2 News Baltimore

This news app is not very good at updating stories. As it's December 27th the stories are mostly from December 22nd. Living in Baltimore I'm pretty sure there has been new stories. Someone is not doing a very good job at tending to this app.

I mean it's the news... But I don't understand why it sends me to Facebook and asks me to log in to watch breaking news push notifications when I've already downloaded the app... If I wanted to watch on FB I'd do that instead. Probably going to uninstall bc there is no point in sending me alerts if I have to go to a different app to view the information.

1. The writing is biased often lacking crucial details! For example, today's article on The Honorable Ruth Bader Ginsburg's passing, included comments from current and two former presidents (G W. Bush, JIMMY CARTER), only mention OF THE MOST RECENT FORMER PRESIDENT is that his nomination was blocked by the Republican Senate. 2. The picture that accompanies the headline, is ALMOST NEVER the picture seen when you open the article. 3. Too many videos! 4. Premature, sparse articles. *uninstall*

Certainly the best Baltimore area news and weather app. Most up to date news and easy to use and navigate.

Love this app it's very informative and when I miss the news on tv, I turn to the app and catch up on all the news for the day.

Another Bias News Station that only reports on and keeps the Negativity going. It never updates the stories. Just more Chaos.

Does not provide news updates. Same stories show up 24 hours later.

Covering maryland with the latest up to date news work perfectly for me im looking forward to 2021 being a great news year too thanks for your service

The stories show up, but I cannot read the entire story.

I am glad that WMAR news focuses on our local news for Maryland residents. I also like hearing about what local businesses are open and about those businesses in general.

Loads great. Every time I try to go to a story it goes right back to home page. Cannot get to any news. A waste of time! 12-4-21. Did update. Won't open now. Still one star. 12-5-21. You fixed it. All is good once again. Thank you for responding.

Won't even let you see the closing and delays the app is so delayed and behind with stories. reports the same story over and over. Never updates stories on the weekends

The breaking news notifications are never important... always something stupid.

This does not give much news. It rarely give news on weekends and hasn't been giving half the news as other channels

Had a problem with videos not playing. The video title would show at the top of the orange bordered page and videos would not load and play. Works better now but some videos still buffer or wont play

First thing I read every morning for Baltimore news. One issue though - proofread the copy! Way too many typos for a professional news outlet.

Breaking News hits Channel 2 app first.I go straight to them for first updates.Other stations post behind them.

I have never seen an App plagued with so many AD's such as this one. I know that local news is a news source that, much like newspapers, is slowly biting the dust, but when an app has more ads than information, it's time to delete it!!

I love the Abc2 news app for its relevancy in Maryland traffic and news. I haven't been able to access the live news stream since the last update, but I get by on alerts to my phone.

Wmar is terrific. The meteorologistso are 100% accurate and the newscasters are crisp yet personable in their delivery. Love these guys!
