The WMFE Public Radio App allows you to listen to WMFE, pause and rewind the live radio audio, and view the program guide all at once! You can explore On Demand content, search for programs, bookmark a program for later, and wake up to WMFE with the alarm clock!
Live Streaming

Wmfe is my radio Bible but I'm rating the app, not the station. I'm in Daytona, and reception is frequently spotty. Also, on-demand is often slow to connect, often not at all. Nitpicking aside, the other four stars more than make up for it! Kirk Cavender
It would be nice if the app worked better with Bluetooth, i.e. playing/pausing when I start/turn off my car, as most other music apps do. Whenever I turn off my car the music starts blaring from my phone. Very annoying.
I love that I'm able to stream content from WMFE to my phone. Unfortunately there are times when it hesitates while buffering content. Otherwise it's quite convenient.
I don't want to give the app a bad rating but since the update, it no longer stops streaming randomly...it simply doesn't stream at all and then crashes after approximately 30 seconds.
App will play opening ad, but then no broadcast, or just a few seconds of it before stopping. This after many years of trouble free use.

Good job programming both app and station content. I would highly recommend both over a baddie bootie call from an old stalker boy cringe ore ex. However, much like those who rely way too much on tech to " think" for them, sometimes the beastie bugs win..that could knot plausibly happen to us, could it? Be careful out sharecropper Boyz and Gust of shivering timber girls. We are not in Kansas anymore. Do. Be kind and Safe. And wear warm durable socks...to match your mittens with kittens.
seems to work much more reliably now. Could stand to be a little less graphical gimmick and more utility focused. I need to know I can leave this app unattended and not have to fuss with it to get it to work
Your latest update did the trick. It now plays continuously (used to stop after 2 minutes) like that I can easily choose articles in addition to live stream. THANKS
Buffers/stops playing often. Won't close when all other apps are closed at the same time - has to be closed separately.
Would like to be able to pause and pickup where it left off. Also less interruption of content by station identification
Easy access and easy to use. Sometimes cuts out, but overall great listening quality and content
Just downloaded it on this device but had it on my previous point as well. Always functioned well with no issues that's why i downloaded again. Very pleased at this time.
This app is almost useless now. It only works for 5-10 minutes at a time. Hopefully they'll fix it with an update soon
nothing seems to be fixed it still crashes all the time it still stays on after apps have been turned off
Good source for reliable information from Central Florida and the World.
Worst app I have. Very undepenible. Drops frequently And unpredictable. Love NPR, but hate the WMFE app.
Easy to use. Find podcasts and shows.
The App keeps stopping about every 5 minutes requiring me to push a button to resume.
Doesn't always stream well. Number of breaks which are annoying.
After about 20 minutes the app stops playing. On cell or wifi data....
Great app for listening to all my NPR shows, whether it's live or On Demand.
Usually works well, but, occasionally will just stop audio broadcasting, then start back up a few hours later. Not sure if it's the app, or the actual broadcasting signals. Would be nice for more in depth stories and interviews. 10/21 Update: occasional audio disconnect continues to happen randomly. I have uninstalled/reinstalled app, as suggested. With no resolution. App is pretty good otherwise. Recent program changes haven't been updated on the programming schedule.six months later and still
