WMUR News 9 - NH News, Weather

Since I updated, I can't watch video! Thanks for forcing the update on me, I really appreciate it. Now I'll have to uninstall and find another news station relevant for me.

Not that the creators will read this, but I'm giving 1 start. Firstly, suddenly getting unimportant notifications all day with no warning or choices of what to recieve made me turn off the notifications due to my increasing irritation. Hopefully I don't miss anything important. Why it started doing this I don't know. Secondly your news reporting, especially pandemic related, is inaccurate and simply to stir the masses.

Always enjoy your stations lineup of professionals. Of course Ms. LAPOINTE IS THE MAIN VIEWING PLEASURE. With her accurate forecast and charms. She is the true anchor of your station.

WMUR, Why are you forcing people to this app when some of us only want the weather?! I have no issue watching the news or reading it on my time but when I want to quickly check the weather I could care less what's going on, I just want my weather. I don't mind change but I feel the setup for this app is terrible. Especially the weather part. PLEASE reconsider shutting down the weather app that you have now. Edit: After having this not even 1 day I'm deleting this. The notifications keep going off and changing the settings just makes it worse. I love your tv broadcasts but again your app is garbage. Take care all. I'll be deleting this after I post this.

Unfortunately the Only Game in Town. NH only has the one news station. WMUR definitely leans left so if that's your thing you'll love the stories. They took away your ability to review individual content and stories, guess they didn't like the criticism. I only use it for weather and closings but it's better than their website that's full of bloated third party ads that take forever to load.

Everytime I click on notifications if not recently received. It always say data not available, but if I search site I find article. Fix this junk. Uninstall. Horrible app development. Find new developers for you app. Don't they will ever read this, but had to let others know its still junk 4 years later

Two stars just to be nice. There are 30 second commercials for very video. This is unacceptable. They are not a tiny one man shop. They are a TV station were commercials are expected. The app should not have commercials. I rarely use the app, except to read headlines and sometimes the weather.

I found the previous version sharper colors, easier navigation. This has so many articles that look like a story but turn out to be an advertisement. Please bring back old version or make this better so we don't waste our time.

I love the news show, WMUR totally rocks. Unfortunately the app, not so much, at least not when viewed through Fire tv. App constantly locks up during ads (ad 5/15 now) and then resets to the beginning of the show. The recent update results in them queuing up even more commercials(ad 7 of 15 now and thats in a row, AWFUL) and it just completely stopped. The app keeps getting worse.. They need to take a lesson from Hulu or IMDB: they run ads pretty seamlessly.

App has two annoying behaviors: 1- as you scroll down home page, if you tap a story to read it, when you return to home page it starts off again at the top, forcing you to repeatedly scroll down to return where you left off. 2- when you are reading a story, as you get towards the end it will suddenly jump down to the start of the next story, forcing you to scroll back slightly to finish reading the last lines of the first story.

This is THE worst news for New Hampshire! They care more about national news than they do local. On top of that, the stories stay on the app for DAYS at a time. There is more than enough stuff going on in this state to constanty update your stories. The people of NH want LOCAL NEWS! If we need national, there are other apps for that. Also, when a celebrity or an ex president dies, there is no need to fill your entire app with stories about them! Absolutely awful app. I'm deleting and never returning

This is ok for the weather info. What I don't like, is that the hourly info doesn't give you wind speed for the hour like the old weather one did. I have to get my info on the weather channel. This is important to me as a boater. Give me back the original weather app!

After nearly 3 years, PLEASE stop with half or better of the online articles and emergency/urgent notices (at top of the screen) being solely Coronavirus (COVID-19) articles. Also, there's enough negativity in the world today in everyone's each and every day; work, family, errands and play/enjoy life days. To see big bold headlines from WMUR of positivity, sucess, and motivational topics would surely bring more PMA (positive mental attitude) to a larger and much more broad audience.

In an emergency, lost power at home, so tried to watch hurricane coverage on 6:00 news. Tried this app, all I got was ad 1 of three, then two of five then three of seven! Never saw news, just increasing counts of ads I 'd have to watch. UNINSTALLED

Such a biased, and OLD news station. I can't say I appreciate their partaking in censorship, claiming they give us the latest news. You don't get to choose what we should see and not see in this state, as well as with this nation. You are laughable. I think it's time to retire you guys. It's been fun, but there are more reliable and REAL news stations out there. Thank you for disgracing our beautiful state. Cowards.

An ad took over the entire screen upon 1st attempt to use & could neither be turned off nor circumvented. Even the device's overall controls were inaccessible & only recourse was to shut down completely & leave off for extended time.

So many annoying "breaking news" alerts that are not "breaking news". Notifications should be saved for SIGNIFICANT NEWS ie BOLO, national security urgent issue, statewide emergency. Seriously how many times a day are going to to send an alert about covid????? People can open the app without being notified of every new report????

WMUR is the first app I open in the morning. it has all the latest news and weather information I am looking for.

it was great until it completely stopped working on my Chromecast which is fully updated and reset multiple times along with multiple devices along with my network switch along with my service provider so it's absolutely the app not working

The soon to be discontinued weather app was great. This is not useful for the weather at all. It is cluttered, gives me weather for Manchester, and is full of ads. No thanks.

Nice to get my news and weather; however however it would be nice to be able to have just a visual notification and not a loud noise every single time something new happens.

I love watching News 9 it gives you all the information but streaming you people go back the night before you don't give us on streaming today's news you give us yesterday that I do not understand why but I still give you five stars love you guys hope you can fix that problem

Deleting this app due to lack of new content. Have been seeing the Derby Hats piece for weeks now. Enough already! Either hire some content writers or just leave the space empty. Or, and here is a novel idea, look for news outside of the confines of northern New England.

A bit confusing. Like they try to fit too much in. Also even if you say no notifications they will blast you with them. Along with their own sound.

I try to use the local weather people as I drive a plow truck for one of the small towns but when I check my local weather and it says rain and 38 degrees but it is snowing and 32 degrees but the app never changes the more tech you get the worse you are at this

to many constantly repeated ads, to many breaks, very little news. The whole experiance is is quite unpleasant except for your wonderful staff. They are a pleasure to watch. Nice people.

I miss their weather app, I used that more than this one at least that one never crashed nor did it freeze on me and always gave me weather updates. Now I'm forced to use the weather channel app which isn't much better.
