WNBA

Since update: 1. redirects to website for everything, I then have to keep selecting cookie preferences unless I "accept all". Very frustrating, not exactly a choice there... 2. I'm in the UK so have to watch games back, in this version I can't hide the scores anymore, why not? If I can, where is it? 3. The pages refresh at least twice when I click on something in the menu 4. It only works in landscape! Sorry, I just don't think this is a great update. It's managed to make it user unfriendly!

Terrible app update from last year. It is impossible to navigate. The schedule page repeatedly asks me to accept cookies, which I do every time. Then it's impossible to find archived games. Constantly being asked to sign in when I already am. WNBA League Pass was cheaper last year on a much more usable app. This year, the price has doubled (which I am willing to pay for) but the app is useless so I can't enjoy the product. Will have to cancel.

Been using the app for years, but this upgrade is terrible. I can't find what I'm looking for. I can't hide the scores. Ruins watching a game that was on earlier that day, that I couldn't watch live. The streaming is glitchy. Chromecast locks up every 10-15 minutes. Never had that problem before and don't with others like ESPN+. So, much for paying 50% more for League Pass and getting less.

The app was never great, but the most recent update has made it almost unusable. Most of the content has been offloaded to webpages the app loads internally, and what is left has no clear organization. For example, I can't figure out where to find today's or recent games--only future or very old games. The app at least doesn't log me out constantly anymore, but now casting is horribly inconsistent... I just want to watch the WNBA, but this has made it so hard I've basically stopped trying.

The new app is quite disappointing. We love the WNBA and it deserves a better app than this. We are in Australia and watch most games on delay due to time difference, so not being able to hide the scores is a big oversight for us. We watch most games by Chromecast and it is not unusual for it to drop out every 1-2 minutes for the entire game. We often have to get the family gathered around the phone or tablet to watch the game due to frustration.

The app keeps dropping the game while Chromecasting to a Google TV Chromecast device. It still says that it is connected to Chromecast, so I have to disconnect and then reconnect. I am able to resume from the spot it dropped, but it has already happened twice in the first 20 minutes of streaming. So frustrating!

The price has gone up every year but what I'm getting seems to be less. More blacked out games each year, the multi game view doesn't seem to be an option on Android anymore and still no app for fire stick or gaming systems. I love the wnba and watching but justifying the costs is starting to become difficult.

2022 update is awful. App devs removed the option to hide scores. WHY??? With the high number of blacked out games I would be watching after the fact, I now can't avoid knowing the final score when selecting. This is ridiculous! Worth cancelling during trial period so as not to have to pay for spoilers on EVERY game. Not to mention, I don't think any game is broadcast in modern HD. Might get as high as 720p. And interstitial content is just weird. Has the WNBA not seen sports on TV before?

Recent update made app nearly unusable, it will show you the score and ruin the game before you can watch it and there's no way to turn that off. Also you can't easily find old games, you have to scroll through a bunch of thumbnails rather than simply searching by day like in the previous version of the app. The app used to be lame but at least usable. Now it's actually terrible. And please stop saying you're planning updates, later in the season. When????

The old version of the app definitely needed an update but this update is not what was needed. I hate that you are redirected to the website for everything (I'd just go to the website if I wanted that), I thought the point of an app was to have everything there. The whole cookie situation everytime you leave the app is annoying! I like that you can now resume games.

May 9: Happy we were able to get the WNBA package. All it took was the programmers to tweak the website a bit. Now that the season is underway. I have been able to watch all the games with the exception of the Sparks opening game. We will probably try to watch this evening so we will have seen all the games from opening weekend. The picture quality is very good. So far, so good. May 1: Abyssmal. "THERE ARE NO PACKAGES AVAILABLE IN YOUR AREA" This is advertised as the app to watch WNBA games. After downloading to my firestick and not being able to get a screen to sign up for a package, I downloaded the app on my phone. In the site I go to get a package and receive the message "THERE ARE NO PACKAGES AVAILABLE IN YOUR AREA". I am using the internet. Since the networks don't show the games, I wanted a way to watch the games. With each team playing 36 games, no brainer for the app.

If I could give this app negative stars, I would. The navigation is horrible. I have to "accept cookies" over and over again. The streaming is a hot mess (only casting and only at 720 with lots of buffering) and they sell your data, even if you are a paying subscriber. You have to spend hours turning off the selling of your data with each "partner". I'm suddenly getting spammed like never before. Everything wrong with the Wnba is encapsulated in this horrible app. Run away.

App is okay, though it was much easier to navigate last year. Most disappointing thing about updated app is I can find no way to hide scores. Loved that option last year.

No rhyme or reason to the layout of this app. Hard to navigate. When I get notifications and click to get the info, it never goes to what I clicked on, just to other random things to click on.

I like the previous app better. This "new upgrade" is difficult to maneuver. Is that we cant watch the game after it has been played? I was ok with having to wait 3 hrs after a game was nationally televised but now I am unable to watch games after they they were played?? I am confused. Do Inhave to watch the games as they are being televised or I cannot see them?

The old app worked better. No easy way to find the game you want to watch without scrolling left for ever. When casting to TV it constantly loses connection. Never had this problem with the old app.

I love this App but wish the blackout games could be live/show them. The fact that I can go back and watch games at other times is amazing also.

New app version does not give you an option to hide a score. I have to hover my hand over the lower part of my screen when I switch on a game I've missed.

Did not need this update if they're taking away the Hide Scores option. I've had this app for years, that function makes it worth it. Please fix this immediately.

League Pass does not work. I used it for last 2 seasons. Now content is not available. Support team don't know what to do.

The app was easier to navigate before the upgrade. When I select the schedule to watch a game that's occurring on the current date, it takes me to the league pass page. I'm already logged into league pass. When I hit the watch button, it pulls up games occurring on future dates instead of the current date. If I want to watch older games, it's just as difficult to watch the actual video. I also can't find an option to hide the scores of the teams if I happen to watch the game at a later date.

You charged me $10 for a team pass that was on the old app that apparently doesn't exist anymore! I want my money back!

Garbage app trying watch my Washington mystics and keeps say sorry something went wrong thanks a lot WNBA that's the 3rd time I missed my team because of that error you should be shamed I am die hard women basketball fan worthless $25 dumped out the window and wow double charging me when I already have free trial how low can you go wnba. Canceling my subscription avoid this it's a scam they try double charge you because they are money hungry

I have been using the app for years now. My issues are, you cannot watch preseason games. The NBA app has access to preseason games, for your team or if you pay a premium, other teams as well. I would like to see preseason games next year. Over all, the app has been getting better. The price increase is acceptable but would like to see more content to consume.

I got WNBA League Pass today so I could watch the Las Vegas Aces and its not even showing on this site. Im cancelling righ away. At least NFL you get whatbyou pay for, to see your team whenever. WNBA has lots of issues and this is one. Not satisfied on had itbfew hourscand cancelling

I am loving the new 2022 WNBA App. Thank you for the upgrades, they are awesome!

App keeps kicking me out!!!! Also, keeps asking for ok on cookies, over and over and over again.
