WNDU First Alert Weather

This has become worse than useless! When I opened it, the first thing that happened was a full page warning screen that proclaimed urgent police alert. Turned out that was a scam advertisement. The screen widget is colorized now and unreadable. Everything has been moved out of the way to fill the screen with advertising. I can't even find the radar and many of the controls are still on the screen bottom where they are useless and constantly hit by accident. This app has NO value now. WHY?

2021/06/16 (2 stars) When I open the app's GUI from its icon, it works well; but in the last month, the accompanying widgets quit working, as do app notifications, until I again open & close the app's GUI. Uninstalled + reinstalled: no change. And no, I will not reconfigure / disable part of my network settings for 1 app when dozens of others work perfectly. OS=Android9. ## 2021/09/27 Hangs less often.

I like the app for the most part but for the past month or so I get Reduced Visibility messages several times a day and there is no reduced visibility. I trued reinstalling the app hut that didn't help. I do not see a way to turn off thus warning without turning off warnings that I want to keep.

Nice app. Clean. The storm team 8 app I was using started having more bugs, with each update🙄. I grew up watching Dick Addis, who was the best weatherman, so I gave this app a try. It has a nice fresh clean interface, and everything is accessable from the home page. Love it.

I work outside a lot, often without much prior notice, and this app always keeps me up to date with the conditions. I always know whether I want to head out and start work right now or wait a little while for something to pass and the weather to improve. Very useful.

I don't understand this app had a severe storm hit in the middle of the night not a single alert. Sitting here at work it keeps making a sound but I don't see an alert pop up.

The videos are not playing right. This is an updated rating. It will play once in awhile. Needs fixed. 5-24-2022 Update on this app..its gotten worse the app has not had an update since my first review..nothing has been fixed so DONT DOWNLOAD this app! First review was 5-2-22

Unless ad money grab. WNDU you have fallen to the bottom here. Forced ads that some crash on my galaxy Z Fold 3. Stop using forced ads to even open the app. I am un-installing this garbage.

It isn't nearly as good as other local TV stations around South Bend, it does not have the details for each day and night. I like ABC 57's much better and they have video updates each day too, sucky WNDU needs to get with the program and find a new slogan besides copying the one of Ashley Furniture Home Store, lol 😂

seems like all the local weather apps are from the same developer - none of the widgets update anymore - take an app that has a major issue like this and insert a load of ads, and you have yourself a 1 star app

Just like with the WSBT weather app, I can't access anything on this app. My screen freezes. I have a brand new phone. IDK why they don't work.

Sometimes the video of the forecast won't load and I get just a blue screen that has the channel 16 logo but, overall it works pretty well

This is the only app I have on my phone that takes forever to load. And then when it does it usually freezes.

I grew up watching Wndu, and now I get updates from the most accurate and trusted news station in Michiana. Thank you so much!

It's not bad but most days the video's do not play....

Easy to use. Reliable. As accurate as one can be.

App always seems to crash and not work

Too much advertising. App won't load on my phone because of this. Keeps freezing.

Can't figure out why I get alerts when the app won't let me view the video.

I find this app a little difficult to explore but alerts are good.

Always up to date and has good information

I love the app but recently have had trouble with the "follow me" location not updating.

This app is just a copy of wsbt app and when it updated it become useless guess I will be going back to using Wunderground

Love WNDU. Have watched it since before Trica started the morning news. I've laughed at many things especially Gary on Saturday mornings. Cried when someone passed and when Morene retired.loved her and Terry. Thankfully Terry stayed. Cindy Clawson was sad to see her go and Mike Kaufman. Mike was the best!! And the one before Mike. Can't think of his name. Chuck and Jack at the ND games. Go ND Wish I could get the news now.

Map box radar is terrible.. Come on wndu get a radar that's good!!
