WO Mic

App works as intended. Had a few problems to set it up the first time but now it works. Only thing that annoys me is that sometimes my the sound is crackling AMD sometimes not, it seems to be random. I've searched on YouTube and other sites for a fix to the robotic voice but nothing worked

I am amazed at how easy this was to set up, how well it works. My hat's off to the developer! I have two issues. The first is that they won't tell me what I get for the premium price other than no ads - I can't find that information. The other is that I want to give them money but they want me to subscribe and that's just insanity. I have enough accounts, loyalty cards, points cards, subscription services... I don't need another subscription for an app that should be a one-time $12 purchase.

Going to say this well Mike I don't think it can be beat unless you pay money just works all my friends in discord we talk 24/7 365 with games running on our computers and stuff just perfectly fine only weird thing is there's no hotkey to toggle Auto reconnect so if I just want to unplug my phone and walk to my bed my computer screen is going to keep flashing but if I don't if I'm in a game and it drops well Mike it'll keep well my golf because it'll disconnect and not reconnect

Been using this for a year now... and i absolutely love it. no issues works great. was able to save a ton of money by using this app with my expenaive cell phone, instead of having to buy an expensive mic too. I wwish this app had a one time purchase for ownership and not a subscription. I would support this app with a one time purchase but not a subscription.

Easy to set up and works pretty well, would be happy to get premium but hate the subscription options, would prefer a one off fee instead.

Mic problem and no settings accesibility. If it's locked behind a paywall, then its 2/5. Atleast it works. This also leaves a static noise everytime I'm done talking.

works, it's perfect, it has a small delay, I wish it notified me when it disconnected. (If the app gets stuck streaming, or the app crashes the moment it connects to the pc. Unnistall and reinstall the app. This usually happens because of other factors, such as firewalls, vpns, and battery savers. Disable the android battery saver on this app)

Where is well have for those who have desktop or laptop and wanted to use microphone if they have broken it or don't have. I suggest this App to everyone who have desktop because many of us don't have microphone in their PC, so this have app let us help you in attending video video call and voice chat through windows PC, also help in attending Google meet or zoom classes online. I am using this app from 5.6 month without any problem and this ab is totally bugs free and have PC version too❤️😊..!

Brilliant app. I have a desktop and Sadly on my locality, finding a headset with microphone is a challenge. Well this app helped me just do it all from the comfort of my phone. No extra clutter, audio delivery is superb based on the response of my online game buddies. Definitely recommend this app as a microphone workaround if you're a gamer

Ok so its a good app but i am having issues.When i first downloaded it it worked fine the next day it kept saying"failed to connect to the server" i am using USB wire and the only way to fix it is by reinatalling but after reinstalling it just work for 1 time and the same thing happens again WHY

Rated 1 star originally, but after some tinkering, it's my ad blocker making this app not work with the pc side of things. This app works. Does what they say they'll do. Just takes a bit of tinkering.

Works really well for its use, i dont reccomend using it over wifi tho but cable connected its probably the best phone as mic app out there

I wasn't able to use it. Installed and even connected, but couldn't hear voice on windows

This app is super useful, been using it for 2 months now, only encountered some minor problems that can be solved with a few clicks! Connecting has no issue. Only these past two weeks I notice that my mic is suddenly silent, although it still says I'm connected. Not sure what todo about that. Hopefully the devs have a solution. Overall, love the app.

Likewise to other reviewers, it is very good! Especially if your phone mic is very good (Rocking a LG V30). It is miles better then built in internal mics, and even rivals stand alone mics (excluding studio mics of course) Very straightforward to use, with no issues just one, which is the inability to turn off the application. So when I use it I have to restart my phone to kill it off from running in the background every time. Other then that it is a pretty perfect solution

The app has been working OK so far and serves it's purposes. It has helped me so many times when I didn't have a mic that I would actually pay/donate to use it, but the problem of the app constantly running in the background even when you quit it is really annoying. Only way to end it is to actually go into the app settings and force stop, which is a pretty inconvenient thing when you have to do it multiple times a day.

I love this app and I recommend it. I've been using this app for my PC during discord sessions and I've been told that the sound quality is great (of course it also depends on the phone) and there's barely any latency through WiFi. It's easy to set up and get it working. Now I don't have to spend money on a separate microphone for now because this app works great for me. Also, if this works great for you, don't leave one star and complain about ads, just support the developers or get an adblock

it's really Good. 👍 But I would like to suggest an additional feature that the developers should add. Feature ~ The option to choose the input device (voice input). I want to connect my earphones to mobile and use my earphones ~ as voice output device and my mobile's mic ~ as a voice input device. I tried to find a good app for this purpose but many didn't work and if they worked, they reduced the sound quality to trash. I would really appreciate it if the developers add this feature😇

Update: via a VPN into my home network, I'm able to use this from my phone's data connection. It still works well with Dragon for voice recognition. There are weird glitchy sounds sometimes...but that happens over wifi too. I'd love to get rid of those.... Original review: Had to figure some things out. Might sound weird, but this app plus VirtualBox plus Dragon NaturallySpeaking plus aRDP plus a headset add up to a real game changer for dictating fiction. Totally cool!

Used this when i didnt have a mic, i connected with USB and on the PC client, you can reduce the buffer time, resulting in a lot less latency/delay you would see in other apps. Also, even though the app runs in the background, it does NOT use your mic unless you are connected to your pc, i use a custom rom that shows me all apps that use the microphone

I love WO Mic and I use it all the time as I am too poor to buy even a half decent mic. Ever since I changed phones (using a Galaxy S5 rooted with Lineage OS) the app disconnects from my PC when my screen locks. I've changed my timeout to 30 minutes so it doesn't happen to often but when I forget to touch the screen before the 30 minutes is up it disconnects as soon as it locks. If anyone from Wolicheng Tech could help me that would be great! I'll change the rating from 3 stars to 5 if I can fix this issue!

Update: Perfect! resolved. ... Here was my request for help: Unfortunately, I can't connect over Wifi. The Android device connection starts and waits, but the Windows client just says "Fail to connect to media stream." But it says this immediately, there is no pause for it to try to connect. I turned off the firewall, but anyway, WOMic is allowed for all connections in the firewall. Also, I can't use wifi with the phone's hotspot; "Wifi is not turned on"

serves its purpose fantastically, but does suffer from one major problem. the app doesn't fully quit when you close the window, so it sits in the background and drains your battery pretty badly. when you're done using it, you have to go into your phone settings to force-stop the app. this would be a 5 star app if fixed, so hopefully it's covered in the next update.

works very nicely, my wifi reach is not perfect and sometimes is disconnects - thats alright because it asks to reconnect - do not click on it though, cause it freezes the app and then you have to restart your computer to get your mic to work again .. Click "no" instead and manually reconnect and you're good to go again. Its fast, reliable and doesnt slow down your system. It doesn't have cam though, but it works very nicely just as a mic (except thst one annoying issue)

Works fine but I can't get it to connect via WiFi. Don't wanna use USB system cus I'm too scared to mess with adb drivers. Bluetooth works, perfectly. I'm totally fine with how it works. The only problem I'm facing is that the mic gets disconnected every time the phone gets locked. Idk if it's same with everyone else or is it just me🥶

Extremely useful application for people that don't have microphones. Works flawlessly and doesn't lag, the volume and mute features are good and having additional connection options also ensures you can connect no matter what. However, wireless connections do tend to have a delay and be choppy but it is still perfectly acceptable. Thank you very much.
