Never worked well, always crashes, unpredictable and unreliable. Since the application has also been abandoned by the dev, it hasn't been updated to fix the original issues and has become even less useful with the introduction of hires displays on devices. For the price, you would assume you were buying into a relationship rather than just burning your money. My solution was to un-install and find another product.
I have had this app for over a year and have completed quite a few surveys, and have recommended it to others. There is a great host of tools when it is working, with that being said....I have not used the app for a few months and recently have done some wifi work and was going to conduct a new survey now the app is no longer working. I cannot view old surveys or create new surveys on my Nexus 7, the application just stops working when attempting to do so. I am hoping the support team will come up with a working solution, if not this is now wasted money.
Big promises, small return, poor performance. Don't waste your money. Conducted a sample survey and a week after doing the survey, the files were corrupted. Nexus 4. Also, there's no documentation, just some lazy videos of how to push buttons. Really was very disappointed all around with this app.
I used to use the app a lot and while it was fairly buggy, was the best wireless survey tool for Android on the market (not saying much, there aren't many options). Unfortunately, even on devices that it works at all on, there are many problems. Trying to open up old surveys often result in instant crashes -- even if they worked fine a month ago. More importantly, it's very picky about what devices it works on and doing an OS upgrade could completely break the software. I can't get it to work at all on my Samsung GS5, as it just crashes the second I try to make a survey. Same for other devices. This is a very expensive app, but the support and development is non-existent. They keep saying about 'internal changes' and how fixes are 'coming', but I haven't seen anything and still have problems. I wish they would fix these problems and make the app work properly.
Many free apps do those same functions, if updated I may rerate
Now the app just closes when you try to manage a survey or load a floor plan. Too bad hopefully they deliver some updates but at this point it looks like it was money wasted.
Tricky at first. Once get use its good... No issues on GN 10.1 YouTube videos are okay and need to have clearer sound.
For whatever reason I can't find how to import past surveys in to Lollipop on my Galaxy Note 4
It took me a bit to figure out the once I figured it out of work pretty well.
I want a refund as it doesn't even allow you to start a survey.
Crashing on Nexus 5 when loading floor plans. Worked fine on my older Nexus 2.
You will need a floor plan scanned into your phone (the gallery) to fully utilize this tool. If not, you may as well download a free wi-fi scanner. But done right, this app is a great tool for anyone implementing or testing wireless networks.
I want a refund thus app did not work on my android phone.
The tool is good but for the price I'd expect at least small maintenance updates (not happened in +1y). Other apps cost less but authors keep updates rolling. Update 09.2015: We're almost a year later and yet no news.
When you have clients that require a better description of their wifi coverage...the only thing you need to show them is the heat map! I took a chance, spent the money and it has paid for itself twice over!
Good product, very useful. Did some real world work with these tools this week and was able to find and resolve some issues. Best part is not having to lug my laptop around to do this type of work. Looking forward to future development and upgrades. Using Asus Transformer
Screen area for floorplan is 1x1" on samsung note. Cant see full floorplan and icons take up most of the map with 1024x768 loaded
replaces my laptop for my survey needs. worth every cent.
For the current sale price, this product is worth every penny. Upcoming updates have me very excited about what else this piece of software can do.
Ccnp wireless here - it does what it says. Great documentation and training on youtube. Very helpful if you are a wireless professional.
it's very handy tool for WiFi survey. I like what it can do but don't like the look of the Heat Map it's too Suqare. Hope the next update will have it fix.
Stops working all the time for the price its not very good and im really disappointed
No longer working for me, claims to be for an earlier version of Android. Shame as it was pretty useful.
