Woox home

I like the app, love the automation possibilities. But I do have some problem with it, I mainly use the Woox IR universal remote for my older Gree AC, one problem is that I can only make shortcut for the IR remote, would be nice option for the AC subdevice as well. Other problem is that can use the AC just fine via this app, but I do lose the "lights off" and "timer" functions, is a shame, I often used these before.

Works, almost. It is a mess with alert notifications from camera motion detection. In Do Not Disturb mode I can not find how to make it make a sound if an alarm is triggered. I only get a silent popup notification which is pretty useless. Would be nice also to have such a basic function as to change the alarm sound and the app could provide a few sounds or if it is so hard for the developer at least to let the user choose his own sound file.

Should be a smart app, maybe it is but the app is missing a lot of simple scenarios which would make it smart. As simple examples: 1. you cannot duplicate a smart task ( so if you have something similar but complicate, you have to redo it everytime all the steps and process 2. you cannot add multiple weather condition in the same condition, this makes you limited with the variations, in my case this makes the condition totally useless 3. you cannot edit any step/part in a condition and so many

UPDATE Managed to get plugs working again so improved rating. Suddenly stopped working. Tried resetting the smart plugs following manufacturer's instructions and then connecting as I had done originally. Did not connect so went through help section. Did everything by the book and the plug just would not connect. Will now be seeking a full refund from Amazon and will never buy this company's products again. Shame because up until this point this, it seemed a pretty good product.

Devices occasionally lose connection and become non-responsive. In my house there is one Router with a WiFi AP, one CAT5 cable connected Hub with WiFi and a Ethernet Extender each have a different SSID, but all form one private Ethernet network. It would help to know which subnet (SSID) a device is connected. Some parts of the app still displays Chinese (?) text. Possibly improve the translations would help.

It is possibly the most stable smart app I use, whilst it only supports the 2.4 band it does seem to be able to work when the programing device is connected to 5m band. It also picks up the new device easily and into Amazon Echo app automatically. It does what you need with no fuss.

Easy to use and set up any make of smart devices, including plugs, bulbs etc.. and works in sync with Google Home Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Well worth trying out if you are building a smarter home. Just ensure compatibility with your router as most smart devices only work on a 2.4Ghz frequency.

I have 3 smart plugs they stop working , the app wordt reconnect with Google smathome on Android , the Wood app don't remember the on of status the app is set to remember I'm Soo disappointed , reinstall , try to reconnect it just won't work

I assume there is a bug which has stopped me accessing the wifi-switch to set timer or schedule. It says "System storage not enough, reading access not granted." ; despite of having 20+ GB storage free. (Rated 3Star) Dec2020 Update: All works perfectly!! Absolute rubbish. App and plugs don't work. Problems connecting to network. Problems connecting to alexa. 10 minutes messing about getting it working, 3 attempts and it fails again. Over and over. Will avoid anything woox in future.

This app has to get more user friendly. The automation process is not reliable. I had a light turn on and off depending on the time of day. Sometimes it did not work and now it has stopped working completely. I will reprogram the procedure to see if it will work properly.

I would like to log the temperature variations in my home, but run into three problems: 1. The log frequency seems to be set by default to 1 hour. How can I increase this ? 2. I would like to export the data, but get an error when I confirm the e-mail address ( it is an I18N@inputError - so I assume some kind of language incompatibility ) 3. Because of 2) I'd like to change the language from Dutch ( I live in Belgium ) to English to see if it helps. How can I change language ?

Have 3 plugs at the moment. They works fantastic in combination with the app. Many possibilities. Really like the smart scenes turning the lights on at sunset. Extremely easy to set up.

I bought this smart plug to use it with Amazon Alexa. It is not working at all, I was unable to set it up. I have opened a case but no reply at all since a week.

Please add an option to change the speed of the gorgeous function. Or an option to add more than 6 colors would do the job. Setup works perfect, instant connection!

Bought two Woox Smart Plugs to go with Alexa for Christmas. Worked perfectly until 14th Feb via Alexa voice command. The plugs still work via the Android Woox Home app. Despite resetting the plugs and re-enabling the Amazon Woox Home skill, Alexa is unable to discover the devices. Wishing for another update for any of these devices to resolve the issue. I hope this is not an Amazon trick to make more money by making the Woox plugs incompatible with the Amazon hub?

Quick and easy setup BUT the scheduling seems to be hosted locally in the app rather than on a cloud server. This means that if you set the plug to come on at 20:00 and you happen to be in another time zone, then the plug comes on at 20:00 in the time zone you're currently in. My kids were not amused when their lights went off early and came on early.

I don't understand. I paired my phone with smart plug. I turn it on and off. The plug turns on and off, but the device that I use over it stays on, using regular plug, bypassing smart plug. What's the point of this, if it doesn't turn off the device? Only the smart plug turns off!

Not bad but the most annoying verification ever! If you verify by email you have to come out the app to get the code.. You go back in and the app has forgotten where you are and starts fron the beginning.. Verify by phone or risk your sanity

Very solid app and smart plug device. Normally I don't leave reviews but I just had to give my props to the developers. Very stable app that does exactly what the consumer expects.

App poor, if your a little slow in setting the countdown time the screen refreshes and you gotta start again.very temperamental, some features only in Chinese I don't know Chinese,

Can't get past verification code process no matter what I try, get verification code via text but there is no where on screen that says next, only a timer and text saying resend verification code so there is no where to put in the verification code, tried using my email instead, no email turns up, just tried clicking on there website above and just times out STEER WELL CLEAR ABSOLUTE RUBBISH WILL BE GOING STRAIGHT BACK WILL NEVER BUY A WOOX PRODUCT AGAIN MY YOUTUBE REVIEW WILL VIVIDLY STATE THIS

Won't start anymore, just crashrs. Hardware I need it for is thus a useless waste of money too. DON'T BUY ANYTHING "WooX" !!!!

I have some devices and everything works nice. Only I have issues with camera cloud storage which shows me videos just for some hours back

Was good, with the ability to control a pretty good camera. Now, the new notification settings are so annoying.
