These words aren't really words / A common word is not included.
There are a great many words in use in the English language and I cannot hope to please everyone as to their definition of what is a word or not. The dictionaries offered to use are official word lists used in tournament Scrabble. I think if anyone knows whether a word should be in or out of an application like this then it's these guys.
The word wont work in game X.
See above. It's not up to me to tell other developers which word list to choose. I think I've chosen the right ones.
It's not finding any words.
Do you have your search type set correctly for what you are trying to do? Chances are you want the 'Build' search type.

No fuss word app. You put in your word and it will show if it's a valid word. In addition it gives all the anagrams of that word. I noticed that a word like "ower" does not show in this app,

Very impressive
This excellent app is in line with the Collins Word List which came into force recently in 2015. Users must ensure that they select the correct Word List (or Dictionary) from the App's Options to get desired results. No Scrabble enthusiast can afford to do without it.
Excellent! I love that you can do a combination of anagram solving and pattern filling in the same search. Just what I need for my penny puzzle magazines!

This just decreased the development time for my project that use a lot of words! This is simple to use and has a great filter! And the ad free version comes with me definitions for the words! If I could give this 10stars I would!

Good but for the ads. The ads pop up more than every 6 searches, sometimes every 3, are incredibly intrusive and noisy. Not able to turn off volume quickly enough before the blare wakes up the house at night. Hence only 3 stars. Otherwise a useful app which I've used on occasion for some years without issue....apart from the ads.
