Word Battle

If zero stars were an option rate level, that would be my choice. This has been such a miserable experience for me over these past 2 days, just trying to open a very simple app i downloaded on my new phone. I downloaded wb game on my new device expecting to have access right away as ive always done on other devices in the past. Instead i was hit with a plethora of hoops and rings they expected me to jump through...sign up here, there, and finally after all, i was still refused access. WhatCRAP

Like the game but the price structure to buy coins is way off- £50 for 500 coins!? I'd never spend so much in game, maybe a few quid here and there but thats incredible amounts. Coupled with the inability to earn coins in game makes this a shame but will uninstall

Initially, I loved this game, played it all the time. Lately, two things are going on that makes me want to remove the app. First, when I use the spell check feature, it will tell me the spelling is correct, then when everybody's words come up at the end of the round, my word turns out to be spelled incorrectly. A waste of saved points, and SO frustrating. Second, if I change my word, even when the time has not run out, if it is approaching time to run out, my word doesn"t register.

What kinda gets frustrating is that sometimes the game will not load when I am attempting to collect my daily bonus. Because it's not working and I often times can't get in until the next day, it resets my bonus coins to a lesser amount until I build it up again. This has happened to me several times in the last few weeks. I always make sure I have the latest version of the app but for some reason this keeps happening and I keep getting my bonus reduced because the game won't load.

I have had this app. for years and play daily. My only issue I have is the extra time, extra letters options during play. It ruins the game for me when players hit all the extra letters and all the extra time every play. If it's a timed game with everyone having the same letters, it should be kept at that. It's super annoying to play with players that always max out all the extras every play. Also, there are words sometimes that are questionable, words I can't find in any dictionary. Thank you.

10/17/20: Been playing for years, but this new format is TERRIBLE! I agree with all of the negative reviews of it. Why does it need to work for older phones? The layout is ugly and cluttered, contains useless information, and other players' letters are crammed together so you can't see if someone found a longer word that you missed. This is often critical in close games. Will most likely delete this now. Bad move.

You get to play with a variety of people , it is challenging and takes brain power to get the best word on the board to win . Fun .

It will not let me download the 3 extra points. Can you please help me???? Well, it is a week later and still won't load the 3 extra points. Very frustrating 😕

Fix the app! It's been wonky since the update earlier this year, but the most recent upgrade shows that you have the opportunity to get extra coins if you watch an ad. But the ad never pops up! I left it sit for over 30 minutes last week and still no advert. Please fix it!!!

I need to log in, but how am I supposed to go from one screen to the next, retrieving the code and getting it to its destination without you starting that process all over again? In regards to your response, I have a mobile, not multiple mobiles, so I don't have the luxury of using two pies of tech to obtain the code. I have nothing other than this phone. So I've uninstalled your app until you can change your strange sign in policy.

I have been playing this game for more than 6 years. This is the best game ever and I Love everything about it. But, in the new chat console it is really difficult to chat. Even to say thank you, it takes much time. Chat console opens in a new window it wastes our time. Cannot reply to anyone. Previous one was way better than this.

I love this game, but with my new software update for Android, I cant even open Word Battle. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I get the same error. What's more, I've rebooted my phone at least 3 times since the update. What a bummer! Even if this cant get remedied, please download. It's really great :)

It comes so close to being a great game but it's biggest drawback is not being able to rearrange the letters. It all has to be done in your head or that's it, and that takes away from interaction on the board as well as enjoying the graphics etc.. just ok.

To many cheats using apps which is annoying when it's "only a game" for fun. I enjoy the challenge of testing my word power though it is addictive too. The cheats are easy to spot as they come up with impossibly obscure words and an even more impossible win percentage e.g 70 % and higher just ain't possible without a "brain aid" app.

Love the game, don't like the new format. Also, this new version prevents me from listening to music or anything else while I play. AND there's no way to adjust this in the settings! How dare you take over my entire phone! I'm about ready to uninstall it! That's some bullshiggity.

Great timed word game! Quick, fun & challenging! The better your word skill the higher point spread on Leaderboard & something to shoot for. Play with 3 others & 4 chances to create words from random letters with option to 'buy' letters for nominal fee. Game gives 3 coins for 1 day then adds more on consecutive 'entered' days with a 9 coin limit per day! Game is timed & just like buying letters, you can 'buy' more time if needed but your opponents get to use your time too to make more points!

game not working. doesn't take you back to lobby after 1/2 tournament round. tiles are hard to read. players tiles all squashed. not a good experience since new update. please fix. why is a player who scores highest & quickest penalised because their word used less letters? not a fair game. getting really annoyed now, I and others make the highest scoring word really quickly but someone takes much much longer is winning because they made a word with extra letter. often they could use an aid.

I have loved this game for years, but I get frustrated because some of the players have told me over time that they enter the letters into another site that comes up with words for them to choose from.You can tell the ones who do.They have so many points, and they wait until the last few seconds for posting their word. I think a good idea would be to have beginning levels, like under 50, 000 points. intermediate above 50, 000 to 100, 000, and the people later could pick the which level they want

love the game, but, now will not load all of a sudden. Says no internet connection. I have a connection and all other apps load just fine. Uninstalled and reinstalled, but still the same. Help please, play everyday, several times a day. No new updates recently that sometimes might cause this. Am I missing something?

I'd like to ask the developers to please fix the way the letters will sometimes freeze and get "stuck" on the staging area. I will try to put letters back and it just freezes up. It's cost me many games.

I really like this game... unfortunately, you can only play it if you have a Facebook account. I still am waiting for the developer to change the program to allow different options beside Facebook. I don't like Facebook and gave up that account years ago. I had played this game when I did have FB, I continue to check in to see if there's been a change...still none.

It's an excellent game. I've been playing for years. What would make the app version better is if you can drag and drop tiles directly where you want them to go instead of always having to clear the board.

I really like this and would rate it 5 stars if it wasnt for the fact that the instructions only tell u the basic quick version of the rules,which is the same thing that it says on this page when u click read more! They dont explain anything else at all like what ur tokens r for or what the battles even r about and there is no free way to get coins and u need coins!!!

I would love it if after I have purchased the coins from WordBattle and WordBattle has taken my money for the aforementioned purchase of said coins, that I actually receive the aforementioned coins. This has happened time and time again. You would think with all the billions at Facebook's disposal that they could get it right. Or maybe this just another way to further line their already fat pockets!!!

So now the ads are back on but there's no option for getting back to the game, so I leave the game come back in, have to watch another ad ,can't get back to the game, so I leave the game again...you get the picture. Just FIX IT!!!!!!!!!! Still not fixed. How hard is it?

New version was awful, won't rotate on screen and couldn't replace letters in words, a good game spoilt by an update. Now updated so letters can be inserted. Now better to play but still needs screen rotation for ease of play on a tablet.

I have played this for years and I love it! It has no ads and no glitches. Very well done..highly recommend. I wish I could play tournaments on my phone. You sure did improve the game! Thank you very much! Now I can play tournaments on my phone and sneak peek lol.. even better app than it is was before thanks!

I've been playing this for years. Great game, but now won't even load with new Android update, hence the low rating. I miss Word Battle. Great game for people with older phones. EDIT: Updated version is working! Great brain game. 5 stars. Thank you Word Battle!
