Word Bound - Free Word Puzzle Games

I enjoy the game play, the puzzles get more challenging over time. The daily puzzles can be extra challenging sometimes, but in a good way. There are a lot of ads, but no worse than many other free games. Biggest issue I have is with the amount of data and battery this relatively simple game uses! If I play the game more than 15 minutes it will drain 25% of my battery and the phone starts getting hot. I may delete the game because of the data and battery usage.

Here I am again, 3rd time. I just found the daily password challenge. Very challenging. I also like the daily crosswords. I posted once before and still find this game challenging and fun. Love to learn new words. I think one idea for the stars we earn could be we get to use them toward certain hints, etc instead of just the coins. We get stars for being fast at the game, that should be worth something, being fast.

Kept me entertained for an hour before deleting. The levels do not get harder very quickly. I made it to 27 and it never got very challenging. It may have had I had more patience with it but the ads are excessive. You can either spend more time watching ads than playing the game or pay $4.99 per WEEK! This is highway robbery for a game of this quality. $1.99 a MONTH would be my max. Someone is trying to get rich quick on this one.

The game is fun. However, there are too many ads and increase as you play. Furthermore, its not just the number of ads, but the way the advertisers do them. You must tap the little "x" but if you miss, you are taken to the download page and have to back up repeatedly to get back to the ad and click the "x" again, then you're taken to the second page of the ad and repeat.

The ads are ridiculous. I spent more time watching ads than playing the game. I know the running excuse is that you make revenue from the ads, but this is just plain taking advantage. It kills the experience of the game having to run herd on all of them. A gross money grab. This game would have more potential with better placement and timing of ads and much less of them. I'm also not paying $8/week for a word game without ads. Uninstalling this one. It's a loss.

Just downloaded app; so far it's been working great and seems like it could be fun. It will probably build in difficulty as you go. Could be used as a tool teaching spelling and definition of words. They give clues to words by clicking "reveal definition" to help you guess the word if you're stuck. Nifty little feature never seen in other games except for this game. I think it is a definite keeper!

I do enjoy the game. My only issue is that the rewards should, in my opinion, be changed. If you get the word on the 1st try, the rewards should be higher. Then the 2nd try, a little less and so on. Receiving 5 coins for guessing a 6 letter word in 2 trys isn't really fair. Other than that, I do like the game.

I love this game! It's fun, challenging and really gives your brain a workout. But I am uninstalling it today. I understand that some advertising has to be involved in free play but there is an advertisement after every. single. move. Too frustrated to continue.

My only complaint is that the puzzles were too easy to begin with. I really like that there are words to guess of different lengths. I like having daily challenges. The graphics are easy to see, and the tiles to tap to enter letters are easy to use. The game has been working flawlessly for the several weeks I've had it.

Screen goes black but there's still sound. It's impossible to get coins for watching a video because the screen goes black on the video and you can never get back to the game without closing the app. That means you forfeit the turn you start all over and it begins again. I'm uninstalling this because it's not worth the trouble.

The puzzle is great. A nice low key challenge that helps slow down the busy brain gears. Honestly, though, the inappropriate number of interruptions really kills the effectiveness of the game. Seems to be the way it goes these days. Remember when there were challenging games to play without "the money" being the bottom line? Maybe it will happen again someday.

Great Concept Poor Execution. Love the game and like the option of watching 5 ads in order to go ad free 24 hours. I have actually downloaded apps I liked. Glad I saw that because the amount of ads otherwise was unbearable. What I absolutely hate is that I am collecting stars like crazy only to find out it means nothing. Seriously? Hopefully that changes or I'm out. At the very least should be able to exchange stars for extra guesses or something. If not stop with all the collecting.

It's alright but after a while it gets boring. The graphics of this game too are nothing captivating. The ads are annoying but you can turn off your wifi while playing. I'll give it a 5 star out of courtesy but it's really not that exciting of a game.

Not only is the game boring, it is made all the worse by subjecting the game players to an ad after every single step of the game. I have never detested a game so much. I gave the game one star, because I was not offered the option of giving it zero stars. At the very least, the game needs to be more challenging and less inundated with ads. In the future, I will steer clear from games created by this company, because I have no doubt that the same proclivities will exist. I have uninstalled it.

Great game that can be quite challenging at times. I find myself reaching for pen and paper to solve the more difficult levels. I like that it isn't timed. Love this game. I do think the background color should be changed because it's very similar to the green used for letters in the right spot. It's awesome!

I'm enjoying this word guess. I have no cons. Give it a try, you just might enjoy it... I'm still playing Wordlook. It gets much more challenging as you play. Great mind game. 👌 I am still enjoying this word game. It's a bit addictive. So much so, I play multiple times daily. Try it out. And the ads are not that bad, they are short ads. I'm just adding that you need to challenge your mind. It's definitely harder as you go along. I think you will like it...😁

I liked it at first and I'm only on level 33, but I can tell you when I moved to the four-letter words I definitely don't want to be going back to three-letter words. Those that like word games want the games to get more difficult and I have a feeling that this is just going to be one of those simple games that I won't end up enjoying. I'll give it another 25 levels but after that I'll just delete.

Excellent word puzzle game. Keeps the brain active, very entertaining. Highly recommend. Still playing the word game. It's brilliant. Can't believe the words I get correct first attempt. My son has started playing now. Thank you so much for an entertaining game. I'm enjoying the morning and evening challenges.

I love this game and would have given 5 star except for the amount of ads, oh my sooo many ads. Is it totally necessary to have such an excess of them? No mater how many times ad repeats in one ad break its not going to make me download a game unless I want to. I love the game tho. Thank ylu!!

It started out fun. Decided to invest in a purchase. That turned out bad. I didn't get my $9.99 in coins & when I went to support they said some one would contact me in 3 business days. Go figure, it's Thursday, maybe next Monday at some point! Lesson learned! And I even spent the money to remove ads. 😒

The game needs an "enter" button when you place the letters you chose rather than just accepting the letters you've chosen as your actual choices. That's how some people process information by actually seeing it in written form before deciding those are the letters you want [to enter] And you earn a bunch of yellow stars but you have no use for them. So what's the point of earning them?!?

Different levels of difficulty, but it sets a manageable challenge to test you while occupying empty moments in the day. But it's no spell checker, so if you can't spell don't try it!!

Too many and long ads. You spend at least twice as much time watching ads then solving puzzles. The game itself is great. Ads are beyond ridiculous.

I'm enjoying this game. I find it challenging enough to keep me engaged. And I'm quick to uninstall a game if it doesnt deliver, so that says a lot ;) The ads are bearable. One suggestion to the developer: to perhaps look at allowing the insertion of green letters when guessing. Eg I want to be able to type in all the green letters I know are correct, and then add in my "guesses " in the left over gaps :)

Good game. Gets the brain working. Would give a higher score but there's a few glitches. The flashing arrow gets larger and larger and means I can't click on the letters. Have to exit game to get it back to small. Also I can't see the point of earning stars as you can't do anything with them. If you buy a definition it doesn't stay on the screen very long so sometimes have to press it 2 or 3 times but it charges you each time. I think you should only be charged once per definition.

As someone who is a huge fan of the NY TIMES WORDLE game, when I came across something similar with WORDLOOK, I got really excited since I don't have to wait to play once daily. I do wish it was more like WORDLE i.e. 5 Letter Word, No Hints, 5 Guesses, No Specific Letters Provided To Choose From. However, it's still similar enough for me to enjoy. I MASSIVE ISSUE IS THE EXCESSIVE ADS! THERE'S A 30 SEC AD AFTER EACH SOLVE WHICH TAKES 10 ±5 SECONDS! MUST PAY $2.99 TO REMOVE! RATING DECREASE BY ★★

Way too many ads. I get ads help keep the game free, but having an ad every few seconds is too much. I won't spend money on an app just to get rid of ads during play. I will just delete.
