Try this:Install the utility app "Auto Memory Manager" (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.lim.android.automemman&hl=en), and make the following changes:1) Selected the "Mild" settings.2) Increase the "Hidden Application" setting to 10MB.3) Power cycle your phone.Note: Firecracker Software LLC is not associated with the Auto Memory Manager app.
★ How to take a screenshot:
- Press and hold “Volume Down” and “Power” for one full second.
- On certain phones, this combination is “Home” and “Power.”
- Very old phones running Android 2.x cannot take screenshots without the help of a 3rd-party app.
★ Having trouble with Screenshot Importing?1) Completely zoom out before taking a screenshot. This way, the whole board is visible and Word Breaker can properly scan every tile.2) Make sure all of your playable tiles are on the tile rack, not on the game board. This ensures the results you get are valid.3) Make sure nothing is obscuring the game. Facebook Chat Heads, app trays, and notification pop-ups can all interfere with Word Breaker.

This app used to work great. However that is no longer the case. It now misidentifies letters. It sees an A as an S, H as an O, N as an E, etc. I deleted and reinstalled but the issue persists. Please fix this.
The screenshot feature works really well, which makes up for the somewhat tedious manual entry. Couldn't figure out how to just clear the board, which seems like a strange oversight. But the real problem is just that it misses words. I don't know if the dictionary is outdated/incomplete ( it won't let me switch to another) or if it just has an error/limiter in its move generation algorithm, but it regularly misses legal plays that I can see for myself.
(*See edited update below) Used to be the best, but all of a sudden started to freeze up. instead of running the ad, a black dot appears in the center and nothing happens. Have to close completely and reopen, re-key letters, and start all over. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no better. Wha's up?? *EDIT: The problem seems to have gone away. Thanks guys! This is a great app, with few ads, and the ones it has are short or can be immediately cancelled.
That data you collect is off the charts. Where exactly in the app is "On Android, you may opt out by enabling the "Opt out of Ads Personalization" setting." That you mention in the privacy policy. Thanks for the reponse. Android 10 is not out yet and when it does come out the vast majority of phones wont get it and if they do, it will take a long while. I totally get that you are making this app for profit, it would be crazy not to. I would just like a way to scale back on these permissions.
What happened? It was working fine, except for the fact that it doesn't give the highest scoring word (even when you use board mode). Now, there seems to be some bugs. It doesn't upload the screenshot like it used to and when it does load, it inputs the wrong letters so it throws off the entire game. Update: It's back and seemingly better. Thank you.
WWF2 has updated its dictionary and this app has as well, so I'm back to five stars. It's a great app, and it cleans up after itself, in that it deletes the screenshot after importing it. I really like that. Easy to use and indispensable when I'm totally stuck for where to make a move. I use this with Words With Friends 2. And once I had an issue with it not recognizing my screenshots and they were wonderfully responsive and knew how to resolve it. Recommend!!!
This is really cool, especially after the update in dealing with the colour tiles. Nonetheless, there's still a little snag. In playing the Lightning Round of Words With Friends, the background in this fast tournament changes to a dark colour after about 50 seconds. After this change, Word Breaker finds it impossible to read shots taken from the game. Please fix this, as I'm certain you can, just like you handled the multiple coloured tiles issue. Bravo to the team!👍
Has been very sketchy of late, especially after this last update. When updating unrecognized letters from screenshots, they subsequently appear wrong on the board and so i am having to constantly reset the tile training. Now, I'm not even trying to update unrecognized tiles, I'm just hitting the "X" and ignoring it and it somehow does figure out what letter it is so... App used to work great, but now is somewhat of a train wreck. It does still solve the board though so...
This is the most accurate "cheat" app I've found. Works great. UPDATE: All of a sudden the app started misreading my tiles. I've tried different screenshot settings but I can't get it to work accurately anymore. UPDATE: The developers reached out and suggested I reset the "Tile Training" in settings. That fixed the problem and the app is back to being awesome!
Since the recent update, way too many ads! Most advertisements are an assault on the senses anymore. Very frustrating. That being said, the app and how it works is very good. I use it to go against my computer, and it helps me learn new moves and possibilities I wouldn't have seen before.
The preview of the screenshot is fine but after importing, it is ridiculously wrong. So many letters are misinterpreted. This app is now unusable. It was ok until recently, then it just went wrong. Update; resetting tile training (didn't know about that!) seems to have fixed it, along with using png screenshots. Thanks. Back to 5 stars.
I've already purchased the no ads version, just got a new phone, please stop the ads again. Thank you. Very disappointed that my original purchase years ago managed to transfer with no problem each time that I had to change devices, until this time when the info "just couldn't be found." So I had to repurchase - think you could hang on to THIS one????
Ads drive me nuts sometimes, and often words ending in 's' simply indicate the plural of some other obscure word, requiring additional 'clicking' to figure out the meaning.
I like the way the APP is SUPPOSED to work. Unfortunately the APP oftentimes doesn't load completely (just the bottom toolbar), and I have to reboot my phone in order to make the APP return. Also, many words recognized by WWF do not appear on the APP. I am not pressing ghost mode at all and it still malfunctions often enough to be aggravating. I have the most updated WWF2.
Love this app. Very helpful. Now that Words with Friends has added colored tiles to their boards, they will not show up in Word Breaker. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. UPDATE: Now I have an issue with letters not being detected. It used to tell me what letter it was having a problem with, and ow they are blank. Still love app.
This app is pretty easy to learn and navigate. The only annoyances are needing another app to import the screenshot to Word Breaker and the menu button is right next to my "back one page" button. I really like how this app recognizes all the special tiles that Words With Friends has added. The app that I paid for, Words Auto Cheat, doesn't see them. Also, Customer Support is FAST, polite, and knows their stuff!! 👍🏻
Used to work great but now all S letters appear as D and many letters are becoming blanks. Please let fix bugs! Thank you
I have used this for years and it was fine. I finally buy the premium version and have trouble frequently. I just took 9 screen shots using both my phone and their OCR app. It will NOT import the letters even though I'm not using tile styles. I want a refund! Also, no way to contact support through the app.
I really enjoy this app when I'm playing against a more experienced player, but Words with friends recently changed their playback for solo games. Word Break shows only the traditional board and not the new one making this app useless in these solo games.
So many words suggested are not really words. Today Word Breaker suggested the word "FNARR" yet was unable to provide a definition. Why? Can you not let users select a SOWPODS dictionary, or other dictionary, French?, Websters then at least we could all learn
I tried instlling on Nox Player but the app keeps stopping on startup ...is it comptible or some fix/setting needs changing?
STILL missing many high scoring words. Tried other dictionary settings - only helps occasionally. But, after nearly 4 months, still no updated dictionary. Still misses many high scoring words. Please fix this!!! Lowering rating again until fixed. So bad that I use Scrabulizer if I am near a computer. WHEN WILL YOU FIX IT???
Great app! Works great. If I played scrabble more often .. I would've paid for a premium. No complaints. Excellent image processing. Simple interface. No unnecessary clutter. Great work guys. I updated my review just to say all this. That should tell you all you enough!
Works well on my Android tablet but not so much on my Android phone. I only use the cheats on solo play games so it's nice that photo import will support the smaller board. I also like the delete photo after import option. Minus one star for not working as well on both devices. Minus a second star for CONSTANTLY begging for me for reviews every time I submit a word.
Was working well until recently. I use this to help with Scrabble GO and it has become almost unusable for that purpose and I've tried all of the recommendations. Letters are completely wrong when importing. I loved it at first but it's just virtually useless now and I've purchased the full paid version. Please try to fix this! Thanks.
Scoring is way way waaaay off. A lot of time it shows me a word but when I flip to the board, I don't have the letters the app says I do. And I have to re-screen-shot.
