My main problem with the game is that many ordinary words are not accepted, which ruins the fun of the game. In addition, the challenges are not that interesting and the game overall is very repetitive. After completing over 100 levels across the various word packs, I've no feeling of progressing through the game

Perfect mind game and it's good for unwinding. Addictive as well😅, been playing it close to 5years now. I don't mind the ad's, we also get some coins anyways. The only negative thing is that it doesn't have backup, lost my phone and had to restart from level 1🙄. Would have given 5 stars, please fix the backup issue😪.

I enjoyed playing 2+ years BUT since your last update I cannot open the game. I get a blank/black screen. I thought of reinstalling it 🤔 then realized I would loose my current level (1178) and have to start at level 1. WOW is it really worth all that I wonder. Everyone likes a good challenge; however when you realize the time you put into such an activity without a something tangible, you have ask yourself "what was I doing before the development of these games." I am very disappointed 😞

It's a traditional word game where one forms as many words as possible from the letters dealt to the user. On the plus side, the game is COMPLETELY free to play, and the ads are few and far between. It's also an "Editor's Choice". I'm an AVID word game player and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Word Cross!

I've played this game since 4-5 years and it was so wonderful and addictive.I spent the whole day playing this but I thought that I should update the app. When I updated and opened the game, A BLANK BLACK screen appeared.I thought to reinstall it but still it wasn't opening. I request you to please fix this problem and if the app gets fixed I will definitely give 5⭐ Edit : I read most of the reviews, and they also have the same problem.. a blank black screen appears..So,Please fix this issue.

Interesting game but you need to switch your phone data off to avoid ads when playing. After some weeks of using the app, it cannot be opened again. Anytime I try to open a black interface display. I closed and reopened but the same issues.

Changing my 5 stars to 1 as the game is glitching after the last update. There's only a black screen whenever I open the game now. Hope it gets fixed soon in the next update because I love this game and it's a shame so many of us can't play it anymore. Please fix it ASAP!

Loved the game and paid to remove the ads. Then it quit working and only shows a black screen. Contacted the developer but only received a form email with a link to a Facebook page. It's only my personal opinion, but they seem to be stealing money for removing ads and then killing the game.

Fun game. 5 stars Update: 1 star. I have always loved this game.. But I think they they have a glitch in the latest update. When I go to the app it opens a black screen and goes nowhere. Please fix it, guys. Update several weeks later. Still waiting for a fix. Looks like I'll be looking for a new game.

The ad pop up is just too much, one can't finish a level without ads popping up everytime. It makes it tiring and boring to even play the game, I would've given a 1 star if possible

Black screen & unable to play with Version 1.0.131. Very sad the problem has existed for so long with no resolution. I don't want to try am Uninstall/Reinstall and lose all level progress. PLEASE PLEASE issue a fix!!!

I've been playing for 2 years. Enjoy every minute. I've not been able to open it since it's last update. Uninstalled and reinstalled still have a blank screen. 😳

Very disappointed this game has had a problem since Feb I've requested a several updates as to when the problem will be fixed but with no response. I love the game and would love to play again even with the link sent I can't bring it up on my phone!!!!!!

I have nothing but a black screen when trying to open the game after the latest Android update. Maybe I'm blaming the wrong party with the low score but i liked the game and would like it to work again so hoping for some attention from the developer. Samsung S10+.

Loved the game until today. Have been playing for well over a year. It updated this morning at 12:10am and when I tried to open it to play the daily challenge, hey presto(!), black screen. I closed all other apps, restarted the phone, shut it off and waited to reboot...yup. Still nada. Hmmm....

After updating to the latest version 1.0.131 the app just went blank. Even after several phone reboots the screen was still black. I should have read the comments before updating. There is no way I'm going to reinstall and start again from level 1.

As of The new updates when I go to open the game I get nothing but a black screen. Until now I have enjoyed playing this game. Can you make some corrections or tell me what I should do so I can begin to enjoy one of my favorite games again. I thought about uninstalling it however, that would make me go back to level 1. I've play this game since 2019 I don't want to start all over again. The one star is because I can no longer play the game.

Like previous reviewer, Faith, I've played this game every day for about 7 years. I have a new phone, still android and I get a black screen when I try to open it. I've tried a different play store acct, uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing has worked. What a waste. It's frustrating. I'd expect to be able to simply install and continue playing from the same point just as I did last time I changed phones.

No longer works. Played for years but now there is nothing but a black screen when you open it. I notice that others are complaining about this also. Oh well it was fun while it lasted but uninstalling now.

Love this word game. My only complaint is that when you get past the first few levels,, the 30 second ads are back to back which makes it very annoying. Otherwise I would have given it a five. Most apps are going to 5 second ads now. I watch those and often install some of them, but the 30 second ads are just too long to be bothered with.

Good game for passing time. But can only be played by people with good vocabulary. Edit : Had given you a 5 star prior. However as you can see from many recent reviews i too have got a blank screen when i open the game. Inspite of this you haven't given a damn to fix this. Pathetic from the developers. Don't expect to get ppl to like an app when the experience after so many years and reviews eventually comes to this. Uninstalling this app now.You have lost a player all coz of lethargic attitude

After updating the application it is not working only showing black screen, Before update it was working fine since 3 years and I was enjoying but now unable to play. Please do something. Thanks

The is a beautiful and great game which I much love to play with always, but for 2 weeks now I was unable to play it because it becomes blank on my screen. Meanwhile, I deleted the one I used to play before maybe something as wrong with it. I have downloaded new from play store but still NOT showing on my phone.

This app is getting worse, I lost my phone and I got a new phone I tried downloading this app but now is appearing blank, I deleted it and reinstall it again but still the same thing, developers should do something about it please, because this is one of my best games so far.

Word Cross game is very interesting and quite engaging. A real excercise to relieve stress, learn new words and help keep the brain active. Word spellings are easy to guess. No much stress. Available options like...Ask a friend, get a hint, etc help make the game more enjoyable. I really like. Can't stop playing. I've got to force myself to stop and take a break. Kudos to your team. This game is good for passing the time fairly mindlessly, but having an ad after every level is too much. Many levels take a minute or two, so you are constantly seeing ads. I think the ads are probably one of the reasons it drains your battery so much. I'm almost at level 100 and had hoped it would get harder as it progressed, but it does not as far as I can tell.

Great concept, interesting challenges for bonus points. BUT frustrating ... often seems to malfunction: many times the bonus points don't show up in your total or the app may even interrupt the bonus challenge and go back to the prior screen without letting you finish AND without adding the points to your score. At least one time each day, I've had the app shut down altogether rather than giving me the bonus points. in addition, the app is not at all the way it is advertised on the pop-up ad.

The version of the game where the words scroll up like the ad is in the 'Challenge' section of the game and is more fun than the actual game although i cant figure out how not to run out of time. Maybe include instructions. Also there r inappropriate words. This Challenge could be a game in itself if the words started flowing faster after you get a certain number of words or after each advancing phase. With a slight modification, and an inappropriate word filtering, the game would be better.
