Played through level 158 and have had enough. Three complaints: 1) they charge to see the definition of a word, 2) the 120 cost for a hint is too high, 3) their choice of words. Number 3 is my main problem with this app. Many of the words in their puzzles are obsolete, archaic, inappropriate, slang or not actual words (prefixes, suffixes, etc.). Using an anagram solver was often needed to complete a puzzle. I have deleted this and would not recommend it unless you are a glutton for punishment.
Literally impossible to get enough coins to use any of the helps/"power ups" without spending money or watching 30 second ads after each level. You need at least 150 coins for a hint and you get on average 3 coins per level. I went to level 50 and if you dont want to sit through endless ads or spend money, youre on your own. Quite dissappointing amd frustrating.
Shame there's no description of the words. Also while playing in French, some real words aren't recognised making it very frustrating. Another issue is when you have a bonus word, it's not accepted if the word length doesn't match with the length of the remaining spaces in the crossword. I'll go back to playing Wordscapes.
Excessive ads really spoil the experience. You also remove too many coins for hints. Other games do not take away so many coins. And it's ridiculous to remove coins to make use of the dictionary. 30/12/21:- when will there be another update available? It's been long now!
Entertaining it's easy, not much of a challenge but I did just start playing. Hoping it'll get lil more challenging as I go along. Of course the ads are annoying, but there not so bad on this game. So far I enjoy the game helps the time go by when not much to do.
Seriously? I'm sorry, but you repeat the same puzzle many times in the same month, it's boring! Just in case... today there's the same puzzle that I solved yesterday! I perfectly remember the word "cinched", so today I'm not going to solve your puzzle. Of course, I'm going to lose my streak, but who cares. Anyway pay attention, I could uninstall your app and many other players might think to do the same and you would lose a lot of money.
Just starting really...I'm on Level 20. So far I like the game, kind of a lot, just not totally sure yet. I don't mind the ads, they're from about 15 - 30 seconds. You have an OPTION to watch ads for 40 coins. That's cool. Yeah, I like it. I'll update later. Txs for a good FREE game, DEVS!! Jessie
Some of the crosswords are intuitive, but some are really challenging. I love language and words so I really enjoy the word challenges and the crossword format for the hints. The rewards for winning each stage are generous and keep me playing!
good game, definantly keeps my attention. Has a ton of ads though. i know i could pay for the app without ads but its still a good game. There needs to be more ways to get coins as the hints and things cost a ton. I would even be willing to watch videos for more coins.
Why can't you give more points for each level it's disgusting that after trying a lot if the score is just 3 points..and for points we need to see ads .. it's totally commercial.. at least for attracting the players and for Their encouragement you need to increase the level of score not single digits
Love the game but sometimes hate it when the daily challenge are far more harder than the normal one. Especially when you actually found words but then they all goes into the bonus box! Waste of time playing.
Enjoy the game itself, however, there are far too many ads. It gets annoying when there's one after each and every round. So, there's no flow to playing the game, because of all the stopping for ads. Disappointing.
Downloaded with no issues. Play this game almost everyday on my way to work. Easy to difficult but always fun playing. Get bonuses with every level completed. Helps me grow trees on screen since i can't keep one alive in reality. Lol
I was excited to download it but after playing the second stage I can't seem to get to the third. I mean I've exited the game, restarted my phone but it's still stuck on the second stage which I've completed. So frustrating and a complete waste of time.
Great game but a bit hard because it involves lots of vocabulary words that may be new to some and hence have no idea of. But that is what makes this game more educational. We learn new words and increase our word bank. Overall a good game!!!
Easy to play, doesn't seem to be any glitches & very few bothersome adds! No lag time, either, so you can play it fast or slow. Whatever mood your in - it's a GO!
Ads are annoying. Often the screen does not pick up the words you've formed. Also - what does one do with the points accumulated? The worst part of this game is how much battery it uses.
I deleted it after having to close the same damn ad three times in a row after clearing a stage. Is it a great game? I don't know. It seems that ads are more central than the game experience. Bye!
Easy going word search with picture clues to find words. You can only find words from pics showing. Either swipe word or highlight start and finish of pic words found. Words are americanised but can be worked out with start letter showing when you tap on pic to enlarge to see bigger pic. Best to try without start letter hint as more challenging. A relaxing and easy going fun game.
Of all the word cross games, this one is coded the best and doesn't appear to put any strain on the smart phone's resources. It is fun and very smooth to play.
Sometimes, the app gets suspended on the add playing after completion of the level, so you have to restart it ang loose the points for the bonus words you got in the last round.
This is a great way to pass time. It is unfortunately blighted by American spellings, which throws the unwary, & a version suited to the correct spellings would be welcome. This would benefit anyone learning American as a 2nd language. I'm enjoying this nevertheless.
I find this game is easy to pick up on. the game has a very neat board and is easy to see. I think if there was a way to show the bonus words it would be less time consuming. The game is a good game overall; i enjoy it much. J. Smith Statesboro, Georgia
Several features prevented me from awarding 5 stars. It was a terrible idea to charge 20 coins to see the definition of a word. The 120 coin cost for a hint is too high. It is annoying that you include letters of the Greek alphabet and some non-words in the puzzles. The process of earning coins early in the game is painfully slow and almost caused me to uninstall the app. For the most part, however, it is a very good game.
