Word Finder

As others have stated, the app is malfunctioning. One thing to try is to turn off "Online Words" by sliding the switch at the top of the screen where you enter your letters. It then returns results for me. However you cannot enter 7 letters and a wildcard which seems unhelpful. Agree, it may be time to switch apps.

I switched from a different app because this one (Word Finder) has very few ads. I love that feature. I would like an option to scroll faster to the end of the words, especially when the list is long, and to see the letters supplied for the ? to be highlighted.

I had this app installed for at least 6 months and loved using it, then this morning no matter what i put in for letters it tells me no words found. I even uninstalled then installed it again with the same results. I'm guessing all of a sudden there is a problem with the app. Very disappointment.

This app allows you to create words containing more than 7 letters at a time. I've used it for over a year & it's only missed a usable word 2 or 3 times. It's only crashed once, when it disagreed with an app I had just downloaded.

For others... Turn the online feature off and it will start finding words again but you will be limited to the about of letters you can use. It's worked flawless for 3 years now, then all of a sudden the online word search doesn't work anymore😩. I've uninstalled 5 times now and can't get it to fix. Other than that it's made me look way smarter because of the words I find. I don't want to replace it. Please help fix it 🤪

User beware!!!! Only works in offline mode. It used to work in online mode but just quit. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, same problem. Also does not list all possible words for a given character set, especially if you have a lot of really common letters plus a wild card.

This works fine. I wish the longest words were at the top of the list rather than the bottom, and that the keyboard would show up automatically rather than wait for a click. But the app works quickly and seems thorough.

I love that you can play offline, I really enjoy this game and spend most spare time playing it, but when playing the computer opponent it uses words that I have NEVER heard of before, in every game! For myself, this gets extremely annoying quickly, all because I have to keep clicking onto the "word" to find it's meaning, and yet it won't except certain states or words that I'm trying to use and that I know for certain are used and exist 🤔 However, I do enjoy it for the most 😊

It was a simple enough word finder, but I am also experiencing the "no words found" issue. There doesn't seem to be anyone responding to it. I am going to get a different app. I may check at another time to see if it is fixed, but not if I find a better one.

I have had this app installed on a my phone for months and used it almost daily. Now it is telling me "no words found" every time I use it. Uninstalling for good as I see from another review that re-installing did not fix the issue. Before this, I thought the app was very handy and useful :(

Stopped working. As others have said, I had it working for several months, then it just dropped finding words. Or, it won't allow you to find words with more than 7 letters. Too bad. It was good. I reinstalled it, but it's still not working.

Latest update broke the offline ability to search 6 chars with 1 wildcard. Worked before the update a few days ago. Sent email to developer explaining the bug but never heard back. Also i dont know why i cannot enable the online option. No help notes about what it requires to operate online. Fix this PLEASE!

Best word unscrambler app! It's very straighforward, easy to use, to read the words and is well-otganized. Ads are short and NOT numerous, thank goodness. A biggie for me when i can't get a signal on my phone, is that it works offline.

I used to love this app, but about 2 months ago it just quit working. It says "no words found" no matter what I do. It sometimes missed some words, but now none. Other reviews say it works in offline mode, but then the number of letters you can use would be more limited and it's not worth it. I'll find another app.

App was working fine for months and now can't find any words. Waited a few weeks to see if there was an upgrade but nothing. Unistalling and looking for an alternative.

Very good and very useful. If you seek the definition of a word, it uses a dictionary which is already installed on your device to show you a definition. This dictionary is opened automatically. I imagine the process would fail, if you haven't installed a dictionary on your device.

Basic and no frills but does has an excellent depth of vocabulary including definitions and use of wildcards. Couldn't be playing word games at the highest level without this app when I'm really stuck!

has gotten glitchy after checking a couple words it resets. a lot of it's words are not acceptable, it doesn't show all available words. i'm about to search for a new app.

I was really pleased with this app, then it stopped working! No matter which letters you put in it comes back no words found. Uninstalling and reinstalling has made no difference

Something's changed about this app. It's not working in on-line mode all of a sudden. There's no settings icon so I can't try to reset it. Hmmm ...

Fantastic Word App. Always there when you need it. No Annoying Adds ! Only reason I'm not giving it 5 **** is because it only gives you an 8 letter word rather than expanding to longer lettered words maybe,,,15 ? Great App !

Was fantastic app to find all words from a series of letters. Seems to truncate the list at the letter R when there are a large number of words. Even after last update, it still misses words.

This word unscrambler has succeeded in finding all the possible letters to making words. Sometimes when done making words with the unscrambler, there is No Option for a New clear screen to make another new word. Otherwise it is Excellent ! 😃

Needs update. Database is incomplete. Removal of ads needed. Other word finder apps that are ad free are better. The developer has potential but needs to be on top of his skills and continue with progress.

I like this, very stable and easy to use. 5 stars from me if they went to 10 letters instead of 8, and should be option to start with longest words instead of shortest.

Nice app with an array of words to use when one gets stuck. But I'll only use it as a last resort when I have exhausted myself and my brain gets tired of all the thinking

Typically I'd rate this App a 5-star. Extremely easy to use. But, lately/multiple times, search results say..'no words found'.. clearly I KNOW words are available.

It's great to find words and put them in alphabetical order but it would be great if the word lists started with the highest number of letters used per word rather than the least.

Really helpful, easy to use and educational too. Dont have a "back" button to change your search letters. Have to use your phones home screen back button

I used to love this app, but it's totally malfunctioning lately. Every time I try to use it it tells me No Words Found. There is absolutely no point in a word finding app that doesn't find words.
