The bonus games test you on cognition, recognition, observation, deduction and speed. They are good and worth a look! Unfortunately that doesn't make up for the pedestrian, 'hangman' word games you have to complete before you get the bonus levels. Around 10 minutes to finish 30 games and 3 bonus levels is not very difficult.

The ad for this game was misleading. It showed the challenge levels as the game. You only get those every 20 levels. The actual game play is too simple and replicates too many other games I have. I wish the game was compromised of more of the challenge level puzzles. I will be deleting this. I also don't like the child hung in the tree as the main graphic while playing 😓

I used to love this game. The constant ads never really bothered me since they were always between levels and never affected gameplay. Now for my issue: Since the end of April, this app doesn't start properly, it loads the home screen and then freezes the phone. It's been 6 weeks and they have yet to issue a fix or even update the app(they used to update it about once per week). I'm very disappointed now and I can't justify keeping this now-garbage app on my phone. Its current a waste of space.

The game itself is quite ok, but more recently the number of ads is ridiculous. You used to get the option to watch ads for more coins but now you get an ad between every stage (some of which take seconds to complete) whether you want it or not. It's probably to drive you to insanity so you pay to remove them. Shame as I uninstalled instead.

Great game. Very addicting. Too many ads, but that's to be expected. One suggestion for improvement - either a) give me a list of the words I've guessed wrong, or b) don't penalize for guessing the same word wrong more than once. Especially frustrating when the word you're guessing is an actual word, just not the right word..

overall a good game for passing time and relaxing. But the dictionary is not good. Several words are missing. Many words that are used are proper nouns. In the beginning game had an option to type in the missing words. But now it has been removed. Overall a good relaxing game. But certainly not recommended for learning the language.

Don't trust the ads. The ads highlight the bonus levels, which you can't get to unless you complete several regular levels first. It also boasts how many people don't complete the higher levels, but that's because they start throwing in words very rarely used--the kind that would have people calling for a dictionary if it showed up in Scrabble or Boggle. On the whole, it's not awful, but I couldn't recommend it, either.

The game is fun, but there are so many real words that it claims are not, causing wrong answers and bonus loss. The developers used to have a way to report this, but that was removed. It makes the game unfortunately more annoying than fun some times. Additionally, I've literally had 20 bonus words in a puzzle, that's annoying too.

Firstly, I downloaded this game based on an ad in another game. Once download, I quickly realized that this was not the same game that was advertised. Although there are little mini games (not the ones advertised) that you can play in between, you have to reach certain levels to be able to play them. So if you are thinking of downloading this based on an ad, I'd recommend you save yourself some time and storage on your phone and DO NOT install this. If you are a fan of word scramble games, by all means, this is a good choice.

Been almost a year since i gave 4 stars and I decided to update it to 5 stars. I've never had to make a purchase on this game for starters which is really nice in today's gaming market. The ads can be closed after 5 seconds or you can watch the ad if it interests you. There is something extremely satisfying and cathartic about being able to complete levels and especially the daily challenge. It's like a double ounce shot of serotonin straight in my bloodstream. Just absolutely love this game.

I totally dig this game. Have been playing it for years and this is one of the games that I consistently playing. I love word games and this just does the trick to keep my brain engaged. See improvements for levels are needed. Not sure but I am pretty positive that they have some levels repeated. Just hope that as the levels are progressing, so does the difficulty.

App stops loading a lot of the time. I get the close app, wait or contact support. I have tried all. No one has gotten back to me. When I get a chance to use it, I do the daily puzzle. I am trying to get jewels vit everything I am unable to access Word Link, the count starts at the beginning so I only receive 80. I have done the puzzle several times and was at the next daily puzzle to recieve maximum points. That is usually where it stops loading for me. Very unhappy.

Forced notifications you cannot stop (even when you disable them in settings, you still get a "word link has been detected using the overlay"). It's a casual puzzle game. I'll choose when to play it. Hassling has just caused me to uninstall it. The game itself is ok, nothing special, but the word choices can be bad, with obvious/common ones being "extra".

I love this game and have had it for years. Over the last week, I have been able to enter the game twice and every other time get a force close screen when the game is loading. The software development team needs to fix this bug that occurred with the update that occurred the between the weeks of April 13 and April 20. Once the bug is fixed, I will change the review to five stars.

Ive been playing this game for like 2 years, and i reached level 1000+, great game and also teaches me new vocabs and all of it. I had to update it because the extra words were buggy. But since i updated it to the latest version, the game wont open at all. When i was in a loading screen, it turned black, and the game crashes. So sad the game had to end like this

Not sure what dictionary is used for some of these "words", even better when it is a word in one level but not in another, no consistency. Lots of ads, I get it, it's free. But holy battery usage. I don't see what can possibly be so cpu intensive with this app, but it kills batteries...fast. Enough that you can actually feel your phone getting hot when playing.

This is a really fun game. I'd give it 5 stars if there was an ad free version for purchase. Every thing about the game is fun, but there is an ad after every play. A play can last 10 seconds sometimes and then be followed up by a 60 second ad. I'd glady pay to upgrade to ad free like you can with some other games I have played.

It's a good game but there are some issues. I've found words that are used in one game are not words in the next one. Also short forms count at times and at others the plural is useful but not the singular. Same with past tense and present. Would be helpful if these were fixed.

Downloaded because of the "more fun games" option, but that has to be unlocked. The normal gameplay is too easy and, well, just uninteresting to say the least. Not only that, but this app likes to advertise itself on your phone...while the app isn't on. Every once in the while there's a pop-up that has to be clicked away. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Do enjoy playing this game.... When it actually opens up properly! It has been freezing on the opening screen for a while now. I click on any /all the buttons lots of times and eventually it says 'app not working - close app' then if I go back in I can often open it up again and it goes into the game. But there are times when I just get a black screen and I can't get in. Shame, as it does get the brain working!

For an app that is solely focused on English words, it is surprising how many wrong and misspelled words they have. There is huge inconsistency between levels where a word is accepted on one level but rejected on another. This app sets a bad example for anyone using it due to the bad spelling. In addition, this app randomly spams popups on your phone, even when the app is not running. I do not want my day interrupted by a casual game.

I got it because of the mini games shown in the adds. But it's just glorified hangman and none of the fun ones are real apparently. There's no fix it game, or stickman games at all. If you want to play hangman go ahead. But otherwise the mini games are generally boring, and there's no real incentive to do them outside of diamonds to get hints.

The game crashed several times after using the hints more than once at a time. The Spin is another fraud. It never gives you the big rewards and you will see how it cheats. Also watched the video add many times but no reward was given. Some words are not in the directory so it doesn't count them. But i checked in the dictionary, they exist. Besides few bugs, the game is good. Good for time pass.

I haven't seen too many ads like a lot of reviews mention, but I quit playing fairly quickly. Once I realized it's just a normal word game, and not a very good one at that, and that the different "modes" in the pictures are really just bonus rounds you get after playing several rounds, I decided it's not what I thought it would be.

SO. MANY. ADS!!!!! I'm on level 120 or so, and after every level there's at least one ad, and two if I choose to get the bonus gems. Tone it down, already! The game is fun but the ads MAKE IT SO NON-ENJOYABLE!! I play a ten-second level and am then greeted with a twenty-second unskippable ad. So uncool and disgusting!! There are a dozen other identical game apps to choose from- knock off the constant ads or we'll just uninstall and try an identical game by a different company, seriously!!!!!

The game is a repeat of a concept that has been out for a while. Game is "meh", only made worse by the fact that the ads are CONSTANT. At least one, sometimes two or more after EVERY level. The matching puzzles are infrequent, and when they do come up they repeat, so once you figure out the half-dozen of them, there is no challenge. Don't waste your time on this one. Other apps do this type of game better. I played it 2 or 3 times, not impressed. I am uninstalling this app.
