Word Search

I enjoy word search games, regardless of level, obscurity of words, difficulty, simplicity, etc. My only negative about any game has more to do with appearance. There's something about this game that makes it uncomfortable to play for very long. Whether it's the size of the letters (almost too big) or the spacing, I don't know for sure. I had to use the dark screen option and that helped a little. Also, once many words are found, the letters become obscured by the pastel "mark off" stripes.

Love it. Two things though. I'd like to be able to pay to get the ads removed, since sometimes they're bigger than it seems like the app was designed for and can cut into the word search area or cause to lose my place when they change. Also, sometimes I find a word and it doesn't highlight no matter how it goes, because it's not in the list until I clear other words, then it will be in the list and be highlightable. I dunno if that's a glitch or what.

What's not to love about this app?? The ads stay on top of screen (no annoying video that pops up), easy settings, a great mix of words, simple design, and extremely easy to use. The only thing I would say is that I wish the "dark setting" would make the whole screen black. However, that's not enough for me to make it lose a star. It's nice having a simple crossword puzzle that's easy on the eyes. Definitely recommend 👍

I quite like this word search game! I find the colors distracting, but the greyscale version works great. I've enjoyed this app for sometime, BUT recently, the ads move the puzzle down just enough that I can't see the lower line of words at the bottom. It's not a BIG deal, since they come to the top row as you mark off words, but it's enough of an annoyance to keep the app from being 5 stars.

It's the only app I've found that is truly just simple classic word search. It does contain ads, generally at the top of the screen, but they don't hinder the playing of the game. The only thing that be improved world be more of a variety of words and difficulty level. However, it does have a lot of words already, after so often of playing though, words repeat in each puzzle often. Thanks for being simply word search, without the extra frills and unnecessary games added!

I have downloaded and deleted several wordsearch games in the past few days and I believe I have finally found the perfect one for me. No bells or whistles or time limits. It's literally like the books. Large grid and lots of difficult words. Have seen no ad yet. So far I love it. Just finished first game. If this app continues to be like the first game I will be very happy and will "search" for no other game of this genre!

When I loaded up this app, I loved how simple it was. Lots of words to keep you occupied for a while, ads that don't pop up in your face, and pretty pastels that aren't too vibrant. If they are too vibrant for you, you get the option to change it to greyscale. Can't understand the language? You can change that, too! Want reverse answers? You can have those, playing at night? There's a dark mode! This app is so changeable and I love it! The best word search app out there 😁

Moderately difficult puzzles. Unobtrusive ads. Color palette is not too loud. Would be better if there was a way to look up words you don't know (even just a way to copy them to the clipboard). Otherwise, it wouldn't any different from dishing out a string of random letters for players to find.

I've been using this app for a long time. It's very good. The different colors make it easy to see what you've selected, and there is a dark mode. There are ads, but they're small banner ads on the bottom and not at all intrusive. The searches are randomized, so there's nothing special like themes or difficulties, but you get a unique puzzle each time. Very solid.

Would rate 5 stars if the puzzles saved. Every time I'm in the middle of one, if I have to check a text or turn off my phone for even a moment, I'm surprised with a new puzzle and all progress gone on the previous one... Should be an option to change in settings. A decent app, if you don't mind it being a requirement that you give it your undivided attention. P.s. Reading through the reviews, I noticed absolutely no feedback from the developer concerning issues. 1 star now, and uninstalling.

This game has been with me since my first smartphone (which was at least four upgrades ago). While I occasionally could wish for a potential link to a dictionary for a few words that do not seem to fit my vocabulary, over all, I enjoy the challenge, and the stability that a simple game can bring - complex games can be fun, but they are also, mostly, exhausting. No matter WHAT other games I may flirt with, this is the one I will never leave.

Needs a true dark mode. I've been using this app for years and always loved how simple, beautiful and stable it is, with a great selection of words and word lengths. That being said, I think this app is direly needing a true dark mode. Just having the background being a dark gray with the rest of the screen blaring white isn't a good enough dark mode especially when you're playing this at night/in dim light. I will gladly change my review to five stars if this is revisited

Enjoying the challenge, but the only thing I have against the game is when you have an interruption or answer your phone the screen locks, and won't reopen where you left off, but starts a new fresh game, there doesn't seem to be an option to carry on with the game you were previously trying to complete, can get frustrating at times, and not everyone has time to complete the game all at once, will carry on for the time being, as I'm enjoying the game

Good game. I have had fun for a week. I wish there was a variety or categories because I ended up searching same words in every new game and wonder why I am searching for yen/baa/ohs/gem in every game. It ended up looking like a repetition and a waste of time. I wish there were categories e.g. fishing then you have words from fishing then say accounting or law or farming. That way it's very rare to repeat words. I hope this improves the developer. But many thanks. I have had some fun.

I love word searches but most are too easy. I like that this one is a bit more of a hunt. It also has more words and better variety of words. Only complaint is when you stop it goes away. I sometimes need to stop but want to finish the one I'm on, but it dissapears. All around though, Great puzzles.

I liked the extra challenge about finding words with fewer letters..bc the longer words are easier to locate... The only thing I do wish for.. IS (I'd like to have a list of highlighting colors to choose from.. bc if I have my own chosen colors showing from the word search map. it would motivate me to search quicker.. harder and faster because having my own colors motivational more and having the colors just yellow brownish and purple.. 🙄 colors of makes me lose motivation thought processes...

I like that I can play in landscape instead of portrait ,most of the word search games will only let you play in portrait ( ie landscape is with the tablet on it's side) also you can set to a large font and the grayscale is less distracting then the colors , the ads don't get in the way of the game, I'll keep this one !

Perfectly simple. The words are challenging enough. The score system at the completion of a puzzle, though, is really bad. Constantly being asked to put your name in gets tedious. Else, a super simple, enjoyable app that works offline and occupies little storage on my device.

I love the colors and the level of difficulty, most of these types of puzzles are sooo easy a 5 year old can do them! This is the hardest one I have found so far. If the creator(s) have any other word search puzzles that are even more difficult, please let me know. Thnx

OK....as these games go. Pros: nice large grid, colors or greyscale can be used, timer appears to be accurate. Cons: Words to search for change little game to game, times are presented in seconds only. There needs to be a running clock visible during the game. As stated . . . it's an ok game.

It has nice design and graphics. It doesn't have any extra and useless features, it works well and till now I haven't found any bugs in it. But please provide the option to view scores, because the scores are shown only when a game is completed.

I've tried quite a few word search games and found this to be the best for me. It has unobtrusive ads, good word selection, nice size puzzle (not too small), random word selection and it's not too easy. The load speed is not too slow and you don't have to have internet access to play.

Finally, an app that has actual word searches! Other apps I've tried make you start out with tiny little ridiculous ones that are just a waste of time and aren't relaxing. This app is nice, with a good size word grid, and unobtrusive ads.
