Word Search: Guess The Phrase!

I love the concept of this game! My favorite part is definitely the daily challenges. A few things that could use improvement are the hints when solving the puzzle (I wish we could choose where to apply the hint instead of it revealing the first letter of the puzzle), having more categories, and being about to change the background. Overall, though, I like the challenge of the game and premise!

I just started this game and it's challenging & fun. The mixture of categories is great too, some answers can be hard to solve. I'm already on puzzle 40 or so, not too far into it but it can only get better! I would like a choice of background color though. Excellent way to make a word search more interesting & challenging. Some of the puzzles can be confusing in some categories ie: 1970's music the answer may not be the title of the song but a phrase in the song. That's different.

At first really loved playing the different categories, but now I seem to have run out of choices, and am stuck on "places", which are naming world cities that I have never heard of. Also, the choices of letters on the playing board are not the letters that are needed to complete the puzzle, most of the time it is possible to solve, but with foreign cities is is not.

It was fun and challenging. Really had no problems the first 200 games and really enjoyed playing, but then started having issues thereafter. Letters not displaying when selected, causing addition attempts to solve the puzzle. Also letters needed to solve the puzzles aren't displayed until bonus tries have been exhaust. Has become very frustrating.

Got potential but repetitive. My last 28 themes were either places or 1960's no matter how many times I tried for a new theme. I played both throughout so it makes no sense. Within the themes there are so many more topics that could be used, themes were also limited. There are more subjects out there. Game play was fine, the daily puzzle, the gift and points system were good however when given the option to watch another ad for an extra gift it only worked once as ads were always unavailable.

I like the game, but I would love to see more information. I feel like it's a bit of trivia, but I don't always know the answers. If there is a famous quote, the author of the quote is listed, but I'd like to see the same thing for songs, lyrics, even movies. Just a little tidbit to make me feel like I learned something haha. Edit/update: no longer get lots of theme options. Almost always I only get to choose either Places or Authors and Books. Very disappointing.

It's fun, it's relaxing, it's stimulating and addictive. I love this game. 2021, I am still loving this game, play it almost every day. One con I realized as you go deeper into the game you will have the option to do it within a certain amount moves, however sometimes on the whole board you will only get one letter forcing you to use your moves. And if you do manage to finish within the required moves, there is absolutely no reward. Oh well I play it because it keeps my brain sharpe.

I LOVE this game .. but after the update, it often freezes when you solve a puzzle. I played it all the way thru before the update, but when you've done all the puzzles, it won't do anymore. So I had to delete and then download the game again. It's good for about 25 to 40 puzzles, and then freezes up. Would have rated as 5 before this problem.

I love this game! I have played several hundred games, and would have continued. However, recently I have run into two problems. First, when I solve a game, it freezes up! There's no way to continue! Second, perhaps because of the freeze problem, I used to be able to choose the topic- I really enjoyed it! I hope the issues can be resolved! Thank you! Sally

Long-time player, but suddenly having issues. Right answer, but Submit button keeps freezing. Music still plays, but can't make any moves. Clear screen, retry, same thing. Phone new, cookies cleared. Reviewed FAQs, did Troubleshooting, nothing. Bad enough I have to start from scratch everytime I get a new phone, but I'll have to delete if this keeps up. Unfortunate too, as I really enjoyed this game.

I love this game so much that I ran out of puzzles!! There are some glitches such as some misspellings and times when letters don't populate the solution like they should, but I am still nutz for this game that combines word search with a hangman-like phrase guessing game. Please release more puzzles!!! It would be 5 stars if not for a few glitches and running out of puzzles to play.

I love the concept but so much is US-centric and being in Australia, topics like US landmarks means very little. Even many of the tv shows weren't shown here which makes it an uphill battle to achieve bonuses through minimal moves. Content that is more worldwide and general would make the game far more appealing to those of us outside of the States.

I loved this game, but now, every single time I solve a puzzle, it crashes and freezes. Only way out is to shut down the app completely. I'm using a fairly new Samsung pad, with Android 8.1.0 and all my software is up to date. Edit: this app is working fine now. Thanks for fixing it guys!

Not a bad game and a good time killer, but needs some improvement. First, if the word is in the puzzle, it should be a valid answer. "Jesse" was one of the words in the puzzle, but when I selected "Jesse" on the tiles, it was invalid. Second, please stop using proper names/obscure cities/foreign words as answers; many times I had to use clues to finish puzzles. Third, the app drains the phone battery quickly and causes my phone to get hot - probably related but the only app that does this.

Its a good game BUT i don't like the fact that when you solve the puzzle it can be more than one letter and you still have to select that letter. For example if there is more than 1 "t" why can't each "t" be placed in the puzzle instead of choosing a "t" each time its needed to complete a word?

Some of the clues require guesswork rather than actual knowledge. E.G. I had never heard of some of the song titles, movies etc. The correct answer was obtained by trial and error. Is it possible to get more than 2 stars? That seems to be the maximum. After 1 letter, I still can't get more than 2 stars. At least I have to exercise my brain.

Really like the style of this game but spoiled by answers that are only known in USA and US spelling. It can also be very annoying when few of the required letters are contained in the grid and the phrase reveal letter doesn't work anymore. Really fed up with US landmarks. Also sick of seeing the same Evony advert 250 times

So far, so good! A bit heavy on the USA factor, some of the cities are a bit obscure and (be warned) the music categories WILL be partial lyrics not song titles ...but overall very addictive!!... Edit: 04.03.2020... Uninstalled after finishing and waiting for new puzzles for 2 months!

The game was ok but the ads placed graphics in my gallery gradually reducing storage on my device. This may be an issue with my processor (MediaTek) which also frequently creates a file (open settings, then explore Other for Mtklog) which gets so large the device stops working - you get a low storage warning. Deleting this file restores the storage but it's a pain.

Pretty cool but when you earn a blank space by finding a 5 letter word you can't move the blank. That would make it better. Edit: The " upgrade" is horrible! The added buttons make the grid smaller and hard to see. Once you tap submit, the puzzle freezes. Please fix it. The *submit * button is wonky again.

Very enjoyable game. Wish I could purchase this to get rid of the ads as they get annoying. (I wouldn't pay a monthly fee, though, I hate that.) Also wish there was an option to turn off the hints . . . I like trying to figure out big words myself and they're distracting.

Like the game. Yes there's ads but they're short. Alot of puzzles are extremely obscure. Wish you can opt for spin again when you find out what the theme really is. By the time you find out it's not what you expected you have to suffer thru 12 puzzles before you can move on.

Even at 70 l haven't heard of half the characters. I have put in the correct answer Occasionally but told that it's wrong, only to put it back in later and it is correct..could actually tell us what the character etc came from, as you do with quotes.

I like the game and have been playing it for quite a long time. However, every few months it freezes and I have to reinstall it. It is very annoying and none of the other Mobilityware games have this issue. Can this be fixed please? Then I will give it 5 stars.

Very good game. Well-designed and presented. The right amount of challenge between general knowledge and guessing when you don't know for sure. Needs the ability to turn off hints, though, (after the initial onboarding) as they can spoil the challenge. May I suggest award more stars for guessing with fewer turns, e.g. if the bonus is for under 10 moves and we guess in 4 moves we should get 6 stars, in 3 moves, 7 stars etc. This incentivises and rewards knowledge and risky guesses - more fun!

Really enjoying this - maybe a bit too much 😂 Two months later. Hoping for some new subject categories - becoming bored with the same ones over and over. Also wish there were fewer America specific ones - most US TV for example doesn't air in the UK or other countries. Now April. Still playing but more bored with the same old categories and strong American bias. Can't we have more like the daily quotes. Love them.

Since the last update when a puzzle is completed it does not return to the home screen. The app hangs and has to be abended then restarted - makes playing a chore. Also - selection of topics extremely limited, more variety needed. Otherwise interface makes play fun.

I am totally addicted to this game...it's a challenge, but fun...I like the different categories & the way I can choose a topic given or spin for a new topic...definitely takes me back for some of the 1960's, 70's & 80's trivia...I play every day...like the Daily Challenges...hope I never reach the end.

Same thing happening to me as shirley on oct 13. After completing the puzzle within the certain numbers the Game freezes and I have to go in and restart losing my bonuses. So unfortunately this hasn't been corrected yet shirley. I love this game but if it keeps doing this I wont play anymore. Its suppose to be relaxing but all itis doing is frustrating me. Not worth it.

I love the game and want to continue playing, however, after the update, when I solve the puzzle it won't advance to next puzzle. I have to close the game completely and reopen it to get the next puzzle. Fix this please. I have an ASUS phone. The problem goes away temporarily then back again
