Word Shaker Free

Reviews before 2022 should be ignored. I loved this game. Ads were short and easy to bypass. The ads now are intrusive and long. There is no way to remove the ads. They now make the game impossible to enjoy because they cause so much frustration. I am deleting this fun game due to the ads! Don't bother with it unless you don't mind sitting through long ads and getting kicked into Play Store with a few short games in between.

the game is fun. However, there are way to many ads. your game gets interrupted several times before you finish one game. the game has issues with it freezing and crashes and it will happen at any time. a whole lot of hassle just for a free game! other games that I have tried from this developer do the same things. 2 stars because the game is fun but just to many ads and issues. there are other free games that are much more fun because you do not have these issues! UNINSTAL!

I love word games. But I am uninstalling this version. Why? At first it was great. I know ads are part of free games. But one ad on here is terrible. At first it only came on once a week. Lately, it comes on 3 or 4 times every 30 minutes. The ad, Lendingtree. The problem, when it comes up the only way to get rid of it is the turn the tablet off and restart. Turning the game itself off and back on doesn't work, it's still there. Restarting multiple times is ridiculous. No fun playing anymore.

The game is engaging. I love that you can make various puzzle sizes and time lengths. I have two major issues. I have had loaded Word Shaker on two tablets. On both tablets, some ads will not close so you have to restart the application. The second issue is worse, the application will not close completely. It stays open on the desk top and I have had to uninstall it.

One of the better free word games out there. There's no requirement to play with other people but there's still rankings. You can choose grid size & the amount of time for each round. I'm enjoying it. Not bothered by the ads, but the dictionary seems to be off. It's missing some words (or not recognizing the words when you play them). Would be nice if there was an obvious Start Game button, too.

Love it. Ads aren't intrusive or too frequent. Most English words are accepted with no arbitrary list of excluded terms. My only complaints are that one game is never enough, and that the score ranking only gives you 1 chance to see it. If you have a dodgy connection, or just didn't see it, you can't resend the score or see your ranking later. It's a very minor flaw - this game is Infinitely preferable to the buggy ad machine that Words with friends has become.

I really, really like the game. I've been playing it for months. . . But, in the last two days there has been a FULL SCREEN ad from "Freight Amigo", with NO option to end the FULL SCREEN shot and return to another session of the game. I have to delete the game and re-install it in order to play. And, within 5-6 games, the ad appears again, leaving me no choice but to uninstall the program. I really do not want to permanently delete the game, but my patience is limiting.

The game is fun, but the ads are too aggressive. Clicking X doesn't necessarily close them - it often takes you to an app install page, and then closing that takes you back to the ad. I don't mind adware, but if it's going to insist I sit through a 20 second ad, it shouldn't trick me into clicking. Just let me know when it's over so I can proceed.

The game is fun! I enjoy playing against myself so I don't use any social features. The shaking feature is entertaining though I tend to prefer to stick through a single board, so I wish there was a rotation option. The ads come between boards and last only a few seconds long. Biggest problem I have even on the smallest board is letters I didn't click get selected. Thanks for the game!

Double likes! User friendly. Its free to use! Seen lots of complaints about the ads, but they are not as bad as people say they are. One ad pops up when game is over and the word done is clicked. Some ads have to wait 5 seconds. Most of the ads are setup so that a person only has to click an x or the word close. It is either the ads or pay $ to play.

The game is similar to boggle and a decent pass of the time. What is different is the ability to use contractions and foreign words. The reason I gave it only 2 stars is because the ads are obnoxious to a high degree. Ads appear in the middle of the screen during games, you have to watch ads after each game, and some you can't skip and have to watch the full 30 seconds. Just too annoying for me.

I love this game, and I love playing it with my 89 year old client! The only thing that neither one of us likes is the inability to "shake" or shuffle the letters when playing an untimed game. We felt that the game "Word Shaker" implied shaking the letters on all games, but no matter; I've come to enjoy doing the challenge of timed games; though we never get close to the total number of words, which is another thing that stymied us, how that changes depending what timed game you choose.

Absolutely loved playing this game but not anymore, it's a timed game so adverts interrupting every single game is counterproductive to trying to beat your own score. Uninstalling isn't helping. I understand adverts are part of playing for free but not in the middle of the game. It's a bad glitch. Please sort this problem. This game has become an absolute joke and nobody is sorting it. I'm deleting it, enough is enough!!!

I LOVE word games & this has become my fave app. Quality programming. Great GUI & Help. Thoughtful options. BTW to pause it, just minimize it. Someone mentioned an ad 'in the middle of the game.' I thought "Huh I never get ads during?" Oh, they meant the banner! Because it's smartly been used as a divider between the scoreboard & gameboard, I forget it's an ad. || Update: "Allow Duplicates" doesn't stick now. Even after just minimizing it. I have to uncheck, close, Force Stop, restart, re-check.

Simple, clear and no-nonsense. I appreciate the fact that the colours and the design are old-school. I am not embarrassed to be seen playing it in the bus or while queuing like lots of other games that are utterly pointless, mindless and ridiculous. It has actually improved my vocabulary. I would like to be able to quit a game and start a new one with fewer steps.

Best Boggle type game I've played. The vocabulary is extensive. The least intrusive ads of any game I've played. Ads come after the game and you never have to watch for more than 5 seconds unless you want to. Like Scrabble, you gain more points by using less common letters. You get to see all the possible words in each puzzle. One improvement I would like to see is a way to check definitions of words I missed. If you like word games you must give this one a try.

This app is just what I was looking for. It doesn't force you into competitive matches to get points for games; the untimed mode lets you relax and distract yourself for however long you want; the ability to change the size of the board changes things up for different levels of challenge. I only wish there were a paid version with no ads!

I like it. It reminds me of Boggle, a game I used to play as a kid. My one complaint is that when you shake it to reorder the letters, you can use the same words you used before you shook it and get points again. Also, the number of boards is limited and I now recognize most of them from having played. I'm pretty sure it is not a randomly generated combination of letters but rather there are a fixed number of pre-set boards to choose from.

Thank you for adjusting your advertising! Now the ads are short and concise, which makes the gaming experience so much more pleasurable! Four stars because it's often very difficult to use your finger to spell the word because the board goes every which way but loose... and you lose time trying to get the board to spell your word. BUT, this is my absolute favorite word game...bravo!

I wanted a simple app that was as close to playing real Boggle (single player) as possible and this game fits the bill. (I personally never shake the board cause I like to challenge myself to find as many words as possible on one board). I left off one star because you can't change dictionaries and the default allows obsolete, archaic and slang words which Boggle doesn't. You also cannot look up the definition of words you missed (but you can look up words you find which I really like).

This is a challenge. If my vocabulary were bigger I would score higher. The problem with this application is that I am able to get a very nice word started and then the last letter is four blocks away and I can't finish the word and put down a really good score. You have to look around for another word which ultimately will not score as high. I shake up the letters, which one can do 3 times, as I search for bigger and bigger words. This is one of my favorite games. VERY CHALLENGING!

I love this game! It's very challenging and fun! Highly addictive! Also, I strive to make/create better/bigger words and trying to get myself out of the negative score and into the green/positive score! It's very fun and great for spelling, coming up with words on the fly sort of speak, and a great way to help evolve your vocabulary as well! Thanks for this great game app!

I love this app. It's a great version. I love that you can play offline and turn the timer off. However, I continue finding words that arent in your vocabulary. For instance... you're unfamiliar with the word "divet"? That's a very common word... its Scottish and means a chunk of sod. I would think, at least would think, that's one word thatd be in most vocabularies. I lost interest by the time that word wasnt found and didnt feel like finishing the game after playing it for months now.

I RETRACT EVERYTHING NICE I EVER SAID! Use to be fun to play. Had a lot of ads but you could play a few rounds and then a short ad. Some shopping ads I even clicked on. NOW AFTER ALMOST EVERY ROUND THEY PLAY ENDLESS LITERALLY UNENDING ADS FOR GAMES. NO WAY TO GET BACK TO THE GAME I deleted my storage. I wasn't playing for rankings just for fun. If this doesn't reset it I'm going to uninstall it.

I'd have given 5 stars, except there's no sense of personal progress: no personal best score to try to beat. You are shown your current ranking in the world, but you can't even see yourself in the list - you only see the people at the very top of the list. Though addictive and fun, every game stands alone and then is lost.

I like the game overall. I like the letter grid size options and the timer options. I really like how it lets you shake the letters and make more words out of them! When you tap a word in the list, it has a dictionary lookup, too. I wish it had a way to pause the time. (It might and I didn't discover it yet.)

I really enjoy playing! There's not a lot of ads (I hate when games have a lot of ads!!!) They don't make you watch ads to get more lives (I hate that too!!!) You can put in the amount of minutes you want to search for words. You can scramble the letters to see if you can find more words. It's just nice to sit & play. Update: they made it better by making the ads not last so long! A few seconds & you can "X" out of them!

This is the best word app for wordies like me! Board, size and time choices are just 3 reasons why. It is also generous with its vocabulary. Also, very minimal ads! One teeny thing I do not like is, I choose to allow duplicate words when I shake the tiles and sometimes it forgets. But all in all I 💕 it!
