Word Tiles: Relax n Refresh

It's a fun game to play and get the gears in your brain turning. However, the game is ruined by constant ads and constant freezing. In a 15 min period, I had to close the game and open it again 5 times or more because it would totally freeze. And the ads appeared after almost every single level, which was just too much.

I have played games very similar to this but without the daily challenge in quote form, which is more interesting. Ads between games, but you can cut them short. I like the extra points for finding extra words. Easy way to get points for shuffles, etc. Edit: I have deleted this game, even though I like almost everything about it, because it heats up my phone, unlike any other game I play. Perhaps I should have read the agreement more closely!

Great concept. Freezes when you get awarded for bonus words. Too many ads. I understand that developers have to make some money, but when there are this many ads that you HAVE to watch in their entirety, give us an option to pay for ad-free. I would be willing to pay to not see those really bad ads every single level. Oy. Fix the freezing and fix the ads and you have a winner here.

The game has way way too lengthy ads. I put the phone down because.the ads are too long and then dont come back to the game. I like the game but nit that much to deal with that. Time is precious and why should I give any ad company 25 seconds of my time every minute? It doesn't make sense. I like the scenery and gameplay. This gets a two star. But I'm deleting because of the ads wasting my time. I do buy many apps but lengthy multiple ads is a turnoff for me and determines purchase.

The concept was okay but, there is this stupid ad banner right in the middle of your screen, which renders playing almost impossible, and once you close it, it takes for ever to get that white screen that appears after you close an ad to disappear . But guess what? ANOTHER one appears 2 seconds after the first disapears. Look, im fine with an ad here and there, but this, this is rubbish. Only way to get those stupid ads out of the way is to turn off my internet so they dont appear. 1 star for me

Fun game. I do enjoy playing it. However, 50% of the time it freezes trying to load an ad or close an ad. I understand ads are necessary, but when it impacts gameplay it makes for a bad user experience. If it keeps happening after every game or every other game, then I'll probably delete the app.

I was on board until I noticed a spelling error. The word is in a later level and it's clear from the theme they meant "curious" but had misspelled it as "curios" (which is a word, but wasn't appropriate for the topic). That may seem silly, but I play word games to keep myself sharp, expand my vocabulary and improve my spelling. A word game where correct spelling is key part of the gameplay that features even a single spelling error just isn't worth your time. Imo, it makes it unplayable.

I love the game and I really don't mind the ads thing that everyone is complaining about, how else are they going to make money off of a free app? That's totally understandable. What's really bothering me is the constant freezing in the game. It usually happens after a ad. I constantly have to close and then reopen after 15-20 mins of playing. If that fixes I would definitely give 5 stars.

Great game! Been playing cosistently since downloading a week or so ago. I enjoyed having puzzles with varying difficulty. Depending on my mood, I can do simpler puzzles (the levels), a moderate puzzle (the daily quote) or the Christmas ones (fairly challenging). Suggestions: add a group of harder puzzles people can choose when they want to (or on going challenges); and, allow users to save motivational quote puzzles within the app for future reference.

I love that each level is unique and has its own theme. I also love that each level is relaxing, you don't have to wait for level 100 to reach a rewarding level because all of them are !! If you're relaxing while playing through a whole level for FREE, I think it's bearable waiting through one ad per level so you can enjoy a cool app!! :-)

A great game but the ads a really starting to ruin it. The ads come on inbetween levels, but now they're popping up onscreen right in the centre over the game. The only way to get rid is to fully close the game. It's getting that annoying that if it keeps up I'll be uninstalling as you cannot play the game.

Addictive game, but the new update seems to have made it laggy and doesn't work as well as before! Fix it please! Every time I finish a puzzle, after the advert the game tries to load, but just endlessly so I have to exit the game completely and go back in again - Loaded perfectly fine aster adverts before this update. Each puzzle usually has the clue/subject at the top, it doesn't always appear anymore.

Hit the end and they never added new levels. Disappointing.

Its not so great when it gets harder. i dont recognize where to go without using shuffles. Those times require me to use up points and i have to buy games i mite not like when i need to get points to shuffle. Icannot and will not start buying stuff for games with money. I am too poor for. I think you need harder examples at the start so that one can learn how it works when it gets harder. For example there,s a question i have: Does every level game have a solution without reshuffling?

This used to be a good game, but since Christmas it regularly flashes up popup adds right across the middle of the screen which are impossible to clear / remove. You can barely see the gameboard behind - you certainly can't find any words as an screen touches go straight to the advert. The only way to carry on is to restart the game. Completely unplayable.

The game itself is a good time waster but it is essentially a copy of the same developers game "Word Cookies", just in a different format. My only issue is that there is an advert that covers the entire middle of the screen that you cannot get rid of. The only way to avoid this is to either pay to remove adverts (which I refuse to do) or play the game with your Internet turned off. This is unacceptable and this advert needs to be removed from the game immediately.

I would easily give five stars but for a glitch that keeps happening. There are too many ads that when you click on the X to close, they go to the Play Store anyway. That is not as big of an issue as the other issue I have been having. Every 2 to 3 games when I close an advertisement my screen has frozen and will not allow me to do a puzzle. I can only continue playing by closing the app and reopening it. It is frustrating enough that I am planning to delete this app if it is not fixed soon.

The ribbon advertisment at the bottom of the game is a little obstructive as well as annoying... It interferes with your ability to see the game options below the play board... Otherwise, just started playing rhis and it seems really nice. The graphics are incredible and the music and sound effects fits it comfortably.

Overall a well designed game with, so far, minimal IAP, or even ads for that matter. There have been some cases where it didn't accept the correct word, because I had spelled it with the wrong tiles, enough to be noticeable, but not often enough where I feel like it gets in the way of the game.

Suggested by a friend, I installed this game. I'm just on my first day playing, but so far I am finding it interesting, fun, and varied enough to keep my interest and wonder what will lie ahead as my skills improved. I hope it continues in this interesting and challenging way. This certainly is a different kind of word game. love the colorful, nice, and not overwhelming, graphics.

Same as every other guess the word game. Thankfully, the themes for each category actually match the words on this one. That's the only reason for the 2 stars instead of one. It's the usual money grab. I'm sure if you pay to get rid of the 4000 ads per minute, its just as difficult(or pay to play) to get hints as it is without the outrageous number of adds. Buy a book instead(said the girl who has a thousand books and is still playing this idiotic game).

Good game spoiled by far too many longish ads. Not just pop-up ads, but videos, mainly for other games, and appear after every ~2 games. The game is puffed as "Relax n Refresh", being interrupted every minute or two is NOT relaxing! EDIT Uninstalled, tired of continual long ads! I know developers need adverts, but this is beyond a joke!

Pretty good. I didn't mind the ads since it would remind me to take a break and stop staring at the screen. I liked the bonus words more since it added more of a challenge. I didn't have to use a shuffle till level 224, so I felt defeated there but still happy to play

There is no actual game. You literally just slide across the word. Theres no chance to fail the levels which makes it very boring very quick! The game play versus ad time is very annoying as well. It honestly seems you made the game intentionally easy hoping to keep people happy with winning so they wouldnt notice the amount of ads being force fed to them!

It's simple, easy & most importantly it's FUN !!! ✨🙌✨

I downloaded this game November 2019, and finished all available levels in early 2020. There have been no new levels added since. I really enjoyed this, and I haven't deleted it just in case new levels are on the way, but it's been nearly 2 years and nothing.
