Word Wiz - Connect Words Game

I like the game but since the last update it is continuously crashing. Extremely frustrating. I'm getting to the point of uninstalling and finding something new to spend my time with.

There is an ad after every game. In addition there are ads scrolling at the bottom of the screen. The absolute worst is the pop-up giving you the option of trading your money to stop the ads. This game is not worth it.

Edit. Too many of your ads don't work properly. I keep having to go out and come back in. You have some new bugs to fix. Lol. Thanks This is a new review. This new game is better. More challenging. But the ad watcher is on the fritz I think for 2 days, and I think your highway to heaven is kind of a waste of time. The game doesn't need it. Old review Why did you take away my option to choose my own name? I don't like that at all and I don't like the current name. Could you please fix this?

I purchased the 7day deal for no ads, but still bombarded with ads! Wasted purchase! Still giving you a 1 star. It finally worked with the purchase. However, you should have an option for no ads instead of having to repurchase every 7-14 days. That's about the most retarded thing I have ever seen. I am deleting the game.

Original game was much, much better. Support communication is excellent, blaming game issues on my tablets system a copout. If there wasn't an issue then one exists the issue rests with the game. Tired of an issue being there then disappearing. Uninstalled; MobiliyWare has been better.

It's fun BUT you have to be aware that there is slang, inconsistencies, (today it's a word, tomorrow it's not), and many British only words and spellings. Sometimes you need to "buy" a clue because it is impossible to figure out a word that is not part of the (American) English language. Also, I've been playing a long time and I notice that there is a tremendous amount of repetition. With that being said, it is rather fun for the most part.

Mobilityware is 100% the BEST mobile game company out there right now. I own a ton of their games, and Word Wiz is just another favorite in a long line of games. Ads are unobtrusive (they're between rounds and don't interrupt actual gameplay - they deserve the revenue), game quality is phenomenal for something you get for free, you DON'T have to make microtransactions to progress or enjoy gameplay, and the game is challenging enough to keep you playing. LOVE MOBILITYWARE, THANK YOU GUYS.

very fun game but way too many ads, player is unable to buy game, there is an option to pay for a short term ad free periods but it is just a Nickle dime thing that keeps you paying, I'm going to Uninstall and look for something affordable

Still loving this game. Still challenging, engaging. How reassuring to find developers who don't take part in the dumbing down of the populace. They're responsive, without patronizing; no rote, insipid answers; intelligent, unique and challenging games. This one is a real gem. I've read others who complain about the ads, but they are not offensive, intrusive; nor do they detract from the overall pleasure. Never gets old. Creative. I love the building of true vocabulary words. Highest rate.

Not bad at all. Challenging vocabulary which is good. Only wish is that after completing a puzzle, that they wait 5 seconds or so before they slam an ad in your face. The puzzle isn't even done yet.

It's a fun game but it's not what I expected..the preview said to find the opposite words..that's what I expected..&it's a lot of games which false advertise,I've noticed..the main reason I uninstall alot of games..I wonder if anyone else notices this problem??..it's actually frustrating..I just want it fixed..thanks..

repetitive with few options and none of the bells and whistles you expect from a game these days. however the actual gameplay is simple and the game fun. download if you like word games and don't need it to be flashy.

developers are so desperate for cash they constantly run ad to pay to have no ads, some you cannot close

I like this simple word game...no timed outs, no winning animations, and I have the choice between easy and difficult. Ads have been easy to pass by so far.

Great for a quick brain training session.

Love it. Very few ads, good rewards. Still Loving it. Sep 3.... Still Loving it. One of my favorite games. The only problem is that sometimes the dark squares against the dark background are hard to discern. Other than that, I would recommend it to anyone who likes crosswords. Sep 5.... Just got to level 1310. Still having a problem with dark on dark. If you do an update, can you change the boxes to a lighter color so they're easier to find. Other than that, I'll keep on playing 😸

Had to edit previous glowing review. It often freezes on opening now. No way to play or escape without closing the game down. And it does repeat the words in puzzles, using pluarals while there are better, different words you can make. Maybe its the crossword that trips the dev. s who make these types of games. There are puzzles that would help that. Gives the choices of regular or more challenging play. Great balance of game play & ads.

Gave this app 4 stars because some of the ads do not appear, just get flashes on the screen. In order to keep playing, I have to close the app and reenter the game. Might be a software glitch. Other than that problem I love this word game. It's challenging and there are times I can't put it down. I might add that I have not experienced the problem with my other apps.

Fairly enjoyable on challenging. Would like to be able to unscramble the "bonus" words in the same way the regular puzzles work. Would like to see the words included in each puzzle weighted toward the more complex, rather than frequent repeats of 3-letter words. Would like the expressions of accomplishment to be meaningful - ie. only appear with word streaks, new words, no hints used, etc.

Not bad. Not great. Pretty good, actually. Sometimes very challenging. Would really love a better way of arranging the letters on the screen to play around with them. (Kinda' like Scrabble pieces.) Anyway, many thanks to the developers for the challenges. Update: Still playing about once or twice a day. Still wish there was a better way to arrange the letters. Oh, well.

This is an excellent game when you have a few minutes. Ads aren't intrusive and you quickly get back to the game. It counts new words you find even if they aren't in the puzzle. The puzzles are easy but you can keep playing levels without the ridiculous amount of ads other games have. I definitely recommend.

The game is fun but it loads extremely slow. It often locks up making the interface difficult to use. Most of these problems erupted after the addition of games you don't want to participate in not having an escape to get you to the game you want to play. The big black billboard with in app purchase is very annoying for its appearance timing. After I dismiss it twice aren't you getting the hint? Update 7/30: Hey, great job! Still a bit slow for the game it is but great strides in improvement. 👍

Good morning. The game is great to play. The rewards never change and are far and few between. The game freezes and cause me to reboot. I think it is in the backgrounds I choose. When I use the wood grain background I have no problem. Yesterday I switched to the new woven rope and it crashed this morning. Have a nice day. The game lags and is very slow. Sometimes is takes 30 seconds to get from one sceen to the next. Notice it more when going to the puzzle screen.

Update: Don't have to wait as long to bypass ads. Would be nice to have a Pro version that removes the ads, completely! Great game, ruined by constant ads!! Difficult to play game when constantly interrupted! Might have given 5* otherwise. Nearly to the point of uninstalling! Downright shameful to allow it to ruin a good game! Too bad there's no option to upgrade to version with no ads!!

This game is now my 8th Mobilityware game. The game is challenging as it requires more completed puzzles to finish the bonus words whereas other games don't. It's a GREAT way to make the game unique. The daily puzzle for extra coins is fun too, I also like the icon that provides definitions for words I haven't known, I can check for the definition. It's even more challenging when some of the obvious 3&4 letter words aren't in the puzzle but end up as extra points.

I enjoyed the game, especially the challenged games, however, I didn't like when I was in the process of making a word, it wouldn't let me finish spelling it because an ad would suddenly appear and kick me out during the the spelling. Also when I reached level 4, the game kept freezing up, I would venture to say at least 5 or 6 times. Very disappointed at that point. Hopefully you guys can fix all the bugs and I will be more than happy to re-install the game.

after playing game, you have to play a intro game in order to move on. that's aggravating because sometimes you can't find the X to get out.

This one is a little better than the others. The one thing they all have in common is repetitive words. Too many 3 letter words that are the same on every level. Hire me. Lol I know I can use a lot more of the English language Seriously I would love the job.

Thus far enjoying the game, can't wait too add more to my inventory of items. Nice low price to go ad- free when time.
