I really enjoy this game. Fast to load, smooth to play, much more user friendly than shh-you-know-what. Sure, the bonus tiles are in different places, but it only takes a few games to get used to that. You are also spared the pointless gimmicks of some of the competitors, though I'm only now experimenting with the random placement of those bonus tiles (that's entirely optional). They also link to a tournament which is well run and fun. The first tournament of any sort I've joined in 55 years.
I have been playing word feud for years. It is my favorite Scrabble style game. Not really fancy graphics but it is very well executed and relatively bug free. Well worth buying the premium version just to skip all the ads.
So much better than the "...GO" version. Exactly what the target audience wants, a simple word game against real people. No gimmicks or flashy graphics, just a scrabble-like game to play with friends or like-minded strangers. Buy it once and enjoy it forever. I miss the stern teacher from the EA version who would be so disappointed if you played a poor move 😞, but WordFeud makes up for it by being a great alternative to the other officially licenced version.
This product is not enjoyable. The screen is difficult to see (very harsh) and is not adjustable. You can't tell if the word is acceptable until you submit. Other games give a good or bad indication prior to submitting. It's very clunky in trying to find your opponents. I feel like I just wasted my 5 bucks. Caveat Emptor! The good reviews have to be bogus.
After EA Scrabble ended I was looking for a good straightforward scrabble game without all the distracting and unnecessary bells and whistles. This one is fantastic! I paid the 6.99 for the ad free version. Well worth it!
It's mobile 1-on-1 Scrabble without all the BS every other version has. Words With Ads? No thanks. Scrabble, Ad Edition? No thanks. This is the one you want. Pro edition loses ads forever and it's cheap to suppott the dev.
Best Scrabble style game out there. Simple easy-to-use interface. Very basic and nothing overly complex. Please add opponents tile count so you can see how many tiles they have left towards the end of the game.
Best digital scrabble board background. Completely worth getting the subscription. Im quite addicted, and I learn new words in the process. Players are friendly and I have even played with a few other word feud contestants for years.
This puts all the other Scrabble clones on play store to shame. A fair price to remove ads and give you stats. The dictionary used is very dodgy, but it's the same story with all the other Scrabble clones. Overall, it's for sure the best one though.
As close to true scrabble as possible. Very few bells, whistles, accumulating wothless badges, stretching the boundaries of qualified words, or useless points. Wordfeud appears to focus on running a good fun game.
Love it! It is right on when it comes to placement and learning new words. The premium is just worth it, especially considering at the one-time fee. I've gotten a lot of hours out of it with a friend in Florida as well as my mom and my cousin. Make it a family affair and never regret it!
Love this game. Just brought 2 family members on. They invited me to 2 games. I accepted one and was able to get them to abandon the other online word game that scammers troll in an effort to reel in their prey. That has never happened to me at this game. I love it. I love the random board too. Fun, fun fun!! Great app for a great game. I have ad free version...
Great game! Have been playing for 4 years with 3 ppl i met in here... We have a group of 6 now scattered over the world and if Covid hadn't hit i would have met up with one. All the fun of scrabble but with a twist. Different dictionaries and languages to keep it interesting!!
Like a decent non-bloated version of Scrabble. You should be able to select the skill level you want when choosing a random opponent though.
I like this game for its random board option and player stats. I've been playing with friends for 9 years. This is Scrabble with a twist. I don't care for the standard board, just the random one.
Quick games but heaps of wayout words allowed. Small board but it has to be, on a phone. Easy to play, I like being able to send messages. I'd like a bigger board for tablet or laptop.
I like this game alot it's challenging depending on who you are playing with the better player's are good at pushing you to learn more words. The players who are less challenging offer a different type of relaxed fun. This game has a text feature that allows you to talk to your opponents without giving out your phone number or email address, great game well done.
Best of the Scrabble-like games, hands down. Premium no ads version is worth every bit of the cost. Thank you to the developers for making this game a real joy.
Work huge is not only excellent for playing and working on your word power but also connecting with friends and other players. I would recommend it to anyone it's better than Scrabble!
Love wordfued. The premium version is much better without all the adds. Would give 5 stars if players could resign from games when the opponent never makes a move. Pet peeve. It shouldn't count against stats though. Tricky 🧐
So much fun! And a good way to stay in touch with like-minded friends. A few words aren't allowed that Scrabble does allow (like 'ew') but otherwise no complaints. :-)
Pretty fun game when your bored, get some nice people(it is in fact real multi-player) watch out though. Some players are creeps, and just trying to get "lucky" but that's not the game's fault. If you like scrabble and scrabble-esque games you'll love Wordfeud. And pay 4.99 promise you its worth, the ads can get annoying.
I love this game, my only two issues are the quality of the dictionaries used (but they are open source iirc) and the frequency with which you end up with either all vowels or all consonants. I wish it was possible to view word definitions, or follow a link to a definition in the source web page. With these 3 aspects addressed, I'd definitely give five stars!
Ok. The standard board punishes expansive play and encourages an unpleasantly closed-in, defensive style, but it's the same for both players :) Irritating to be asked about enjoying the game and adding friends. I'm already playing the people I want to play. Knock it off!
This is the only Scrabble app I've found that I genuinely love. Easy to use. Fair price to permanently remove ads. I've nothing bad to say about it. 2022 Edit: This is still the only Scrabble app I use. I love the simplicity of this app. I have been using this app for TEN (10) years and I can successfully say, it was money well spent. I play often enough it was worth buying the ad free version! 10/10 recommend this app! I recommend it to all my word game loving friends!
I like all of the features and the way it runs, but it just doesn't know some words. Easy enough work around, but still a bit lame when it happens.
Great Scrabble replacement! I prefer this over WWF/ Scrabble because the premium version has 0 ads. The random board feature makes for some crazy point scoring words. The only feature I feel is missing from this and all scrabble games is the ability to use custom dictionaries with friends. The dictionary could be stored on the phone and shared, it doesn't have to be stored on a server.
