Quite nice and exceptionally handy. Ensures that you start the day with the Bible... The notes, scriptural references, insights, audio and questions along with prayer embodies a wholesome Bible study time..
I do really like this app and the way it's set up, however, I think it would be better if we were able to choose the bible version we would like to use, I dont like how your stuck with the NIV, is it possible to add a KJV option??
I love how it takes a chapter and do it section by section and breaks down the verses for me and the stories and the questions are awesome and it really makes you reflect and it gives me such a greater understanding thank you WordGo...☺️
Was quite insightful, started the beginners 1 course and really enjoyed how much material they offer for the lesson being taught. 5 stars very good interface and will def be coming back bc they offer you a schedule to stay on top of your worship!
Just started using this app. I like how it allows you to customize to your comfort level of intensity of study. Sometimes being busy prevents me from going into deeper or more intense study of the Bible, thus avoiding it altogether. This app lets you customize to your life's rhythm. I also like how it has audio reading for when you are driving in the car and cannot read the material. One question:. Do you have to be affiliated with Bible Study Fellowship to start an account?
Easy to use Bible study tool. BSF is well known, theologically sound source. Helps make daily study routine with auto reminders.
This app needs more attention. The more I use it the more I appreciate it. However, it was only after I re-installed it as a group leader that I could access the full features of the software. It still gives the message at start up that the update failed. I give it a 4 because the content and layout is so good. Once the glitches are all corrected, especially, for the regular group members option it will be a 5.
Once you pick to do a study by yourself, you cannot go back and invite friends, EVEN IF YOU HAVEN'T STARTED THE STUDY THERE IS NO WAY TO GO BACK!!! This is very annoying not to mention faulty in my opinion. Also, once I did day one it crashed. Like I couldn't even review my answers, it kept crashing no matter how many times I closed it out and started over. I had to reinstall it, but I'm not impressed. Perhaps if they did a desktop version there wouldn't be so many bugs.
I'm finding I cannot access all the questions for past weeks. I'm trying to answer the questions but only seeing the last question on each section. EDIT: I figured it out - changed my "study time" in settings to 30 minutes rather than 10-15 and it showed all the questions. The only issue I still have is that it doesn't send me a push notification reminder like I have set up. Otherwise, great app!

I like that this app allowed you to prepare to comment with others. When I had a technical issue with the program, the tech support was helpful and responded. I would rate this app higher because of that. You can access the daily questions each day it all at once which is convenient. I am used to using a different app that has more features so I'm used to being able to highlight the text and change the Bible version, and I cannot see the group's weekly prayer requests in the calendar section.
I love this app so much, it's so useful when im reading the bible. But the app keeps crashing. I signed up a few days ago and it work perfectly on the first day, but now it keeps crashing. It opens to the front screen that says "wordgo" then it just shuts down. I hope you guys can fix this soon, I love this app and I would like to use it again. Thanks
It's great that BSF is allowing people to do the studies from home, but this app is so poorly designed. It constantly crashes or certain parts don't work. Just the other day it erased all my answers for the entire week. Its a good concept but it's clear there is too much bloat in the code. It needs to be cleaned up and better programers need to be brought on board.
This review is for the support staff for the Wordgo. I had trouble getting signed in and stuck in perpetual cycle. I was super frustrated. When I asked for help, I was immediately contacted by Jenny who had unlimited patience. She navigate through various issues and finally got me on the app. I am still a bit nervous using the app but I know there is good support people who can help me.
I have had problems w/this app since the beginning. It doesn't seem to be set up intuitively. I have tried to do studies by myself and in a group (twice). Many of us have had problems accessing the answers that we wrote on questions so we can discuss them during our study (we have both iPhone and Android systems.) Lately, I have had login problems, getting an error for the past week on my phone and tablet, so my friend has to copy & paste the questions to me so I can participate. Makes me nuts.
Thankfully, we were not caught in a loop as other reviewers. We successfully registered and accessed the app without a glitch. However, we suggest a fix to improve the switching from one study to another. Thank you for creating this great app for the study of God's Word & making it accessible to everyone! God bless.
The app is very glitchy and difficult to use. I am saddened to see BSF going all digital only. You lose so much of the human interaction when everything is digital. Face-to-face human interaction is slowly getting lost in favor of technology that just can't provide that element.
Great App but buggy. The first few weeks it worked fine then it would start acting up. I would click the app icon and it would start loading and just show me an orange screen and freezes. I've tried resetting the phone and it still does this. I even tried uninstalling and then when trying to install it freezes in download. My family uses the app and have no problems on iPhones
Easy to follow. You can go back to revisit portions then return to where you were.
1 star Because the King James version isn't an option during scripture reading.. The content in this app, such as the questions, they leave you more confused than when you started and the translation used doesn't help clear anything up...Faith is built by living according to the commandments to the best of your ability, and grace is the time frame in which you are alive to REPENT and start walking according to commandments. Why complicate things, it's really that simple?? Read Deuteronomy 30
Awesome app for self-paced Bible Study. I love that the daily scripture and questions are complemented by a 5-min audio (and text) reflection that helps me to internalize the message of the day. Plus the weekly 30 min weekly lecture. I wish to commend the team that is putting together these resources. May God bless you and your families. “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few."
I really liked this app. I started a bible study yesterday using the app and had a great experience. Had no issues running the app, loved how I could keep my own personal notes and set reminders to study. The content is great. But...today when I tried to open the app to do my study it just keeps crashing. I can't get it to stay open. I am un-installing the app and re-installing it now, hopefully I can get it to work. I'm just a tad disappointed because I liked the idea of keeping progress.
Content good. Functionality of audio notes poor. Cannot increase speed. Also only way to stop audio is to back completely out of the program. It would be nice to be able to print out the notes. Not sure if I will continue with this study. Ads are a distraction!
Occasional trouble in a big way. Repeatedly had trouble when trying to reset password. It keeps telling me my account does not exist even in the help bot. When changing studies had to switch emails to get it to work. Within the studies only had minor problems, but trying to start app or study has been nightmare. I'm using a Samsung device in case that helps. I have May update.
First, I want to give Jesus Christ, who is the head of my life the praise and honor he deserves. 👏🙏 Also thank you WordGo for designing such an amazing app where I can go read and study God's word as if I were in Bible college. Highly recommend. Gets Bible study members in the Word daily. I appreciate the different study options, as well as the varying lengths of time: some studies are 2 weeks long, others 4wks, others 6wks, etc. App is easy to use for the technologically-challenged, myself included. Our weekly gatherings last an hour = enough time to discuss questions. Last year (2020) when using the program, I had some trouble with the app's crashing, but I've not had trouble this year so far. No ads. Well done, BSF!
The information is good, but your app is not user friendly. I too have received the message that I could not use the email because it was being used- by me! My whole class had an issue getting access to the studies. We had to type out the questions for the class. Also, your lectures are not Deaf friendly. I used a second email as a teacher and still had issues closing out the class and beginning a new one. I think you should eliminate the need for a teacher to close out the class before we can start a new study. Also eliminate the limitations of one lesson per week. If I am studying on my own, I may finish in a week. Also it would be nice if i could have access to more than one study at at time if i choose like YOUVERSION and their Bible reading plans. Bless you all for making this available. I am trusting it will become more user friendly as the months go on.
I really like this app so far, but the only reason I deducted a point is for not having different translation options. I regularly use KJV, but WordGo has all the scripture in NIV, so I have to either Google the verses for the day's lesson, or to get out my Bible. (which is fine when I'm at home, but it's harder when I'm out of the house)
