It was slow slogging at the beginning. It's pretty much like Boggle. Play with friends who are at the same level as yourself. Compete with friends or challenge yourself. I was boggled at the Bronze when I began. Read the tips pages. Your scoring will take a big leap when you learn about the best way to play. By the time you get to Gold your vocabulary will amaze you. I loved this game until it started giving the same board every time. This happens on multiple devices. I cleared my device's memory and uninstalled and reinstalled the game -- problem still exists. I can't play anymore so I cancelled my subscription to the ad-free version. I'll uninstall and not reinstall if the problem is still occurring this evening.

The game itself is very well designed and fun to play. The problems: 1) no offline play, so you have to wait for a game. 2) only able to review answers for a few seconds, so very little opportunity for score improvement. 3) forced into levels, so more wasted time seeing scores much higher than mine. Great game. Advertising is minimal. But too much wasted time between games. I uninstalled it.

would give it a 5 star, but it often gives me the same board and no other competitors . I like 1st place, but not this way. I've had to uninstall 3 times to get out of the loop, and I lose my status. I like being at gold. right now I'm in one of these loops and I don't want to uninstall again. would be nice to have this glitch fixed please. 5 weeks later and this game is seriously addictive.

Still the best. I played this years ago, and recently returned when I got a new android device. I love that I play with my peers, and I love that there are no game-stealing powerups. It's like a more evolved boggle. It works consistently well for me. 2/17, I began having the repeating grid problem yesterday, and it continues today. Is there a quick fix? Update, fixed, If you fixed it, thank you!

Edit: Seems fixed!! Keep getting "Too many attempts" error after each game, and no leaderboard. Then it goes back to the start screen. I know it's not always possible, but please consider supporting older devices and help keep phones out of landfill.

Addicted! Things I love: competition, being able to see all my stats, and categories challenge. However, I have a few suggestions. I just switched from android to ios after years and years of debating lol.. I love everything about it EXCEPT the fact I can't get WORDHERO on my iphone. So, maybe an ios version? Also, more categories more often! My absolute favorite! It allows for much needed new words for my brain to look for and has words that fit but definitely are not obvious. Love! Thank you!

This is totally addictive but in a good way. It's been a long time since I added a game that was this much fun. The guys at Sven Studios obviously put a lot of thought into it. Bugs are few and far between and are addressed promptly. You can view rankings, develop frenemies, and have fun....all the while improving your vocabulary and spelling skills.

Love the game but eventually it gives me the SAME board over and over and I'm on a score board alone or with 2 people who aren't playing. As far as I can tell there's no way to reset the game. I've reinstalled it many times and it takes me to the same. I've even started a new profile but this all happened again. Too bad. I played this for years. Gonna miss it.

This game is SO much fun! But I noticed tonite that a player used the F-bomb as part of his user name. Could you please flag things like this?? (It's obvious that they have a limited vocabulary, because they are usually last.) Decency may be out of style, but this is offensive!! You all have created a great game. It's so much fun to play at the same time as players in the US & other countries. It's like the Word Olympics!!

Not so good. There are times I used all the letters twice but do not get the 100 point bonus. Lately, when I am playing, and finish one game, the new game shows only me, no other players and displays the same game letters as the previous game. I'm stuck in a loop and can't get out. I am amazed that 16 letters can have 150-300 possible words, that is she awesome programming.

Best word game out there, no ads, fast paced, so many word combinations. Customize your screen colors, sizes and fonts. Plus they give you all of the available answers after each round and give you personal scoring, as well as placing on a leaderboard with other players.

This game is fun and trust me it's also educational and highly competitive...you play with people from around the world...it keeps the brain active as you will need quick thinking because you are racing against time...you will also learn a lot of new words and so increase you vocabulary...play and have fun!!!

I'm giving it 3 stars because I know it works, people I know have it and it works fine mostly. However for me, the leaderboard doesn't work, I can't see anyone but between 2 and 10 people near me. I've gone into the settings to change things but it hasn't worked :(

I've played this game for years and love it. Sometimes it will get stuck on the same puzzle for a while. Right now, though, it has been stuck on the same one for about a day. It's the only game I play so I'm definitely bummed. 12-4-20. Again, love the game, but it has been stuck on the same puzzle the past 7 or 8 hours. Can you work your magic to fix it? Thanks! 12-5-20. Been playing this game for years. IT'S MY FAVORITE to play, UNTIL recently. It started giving me the same board for hours at a time, BUT THIS TIME, it's been the same board for over 24 hours. I see I'm not the only one that gets same board repeatedly, game masters say it's fixed, but it definitely NOT FIXED sadly. VERY disappointing, as this game is my therapy in life! I'll change to 5 stars when I don't have to deal with that anymore.

Keep getting same board and leaderboards don't work. I cleared cache & data to go back in like a newly installed app, I logged in and still same issue but now my progress is gone, I'm in Diamond League. What's the point of having a login if it doesn't save your progress? Anyways uninstalled app, I don't care anymore with broken games.

Fun game, but I don't think anyone's in charge. Re-loads same gameboard over and over (going on 15 hrs. now). Tried uninstall- reinstall with no change. Contacted the "owner" twice, no response or fix. This used to happen once in a while but not this bad.

I love this game. It is challenging every time I play. For the past several days, though, I am having a problem with the game freezing up and cannot finish playing. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and am continuing to have the same problem. Also, when I reinstalled it the app icon is not showing in my apps. I don't quite know what to do about it! Is anyone else having this problem?

Now that I've played this a few years, the dictionary is not that great. It fails to include the word Sunday but forces you to use non words to complete letters. Sometimes there are only two "words" available for some letters. Overall I do enjoy the game and it's a great time waster.

I love word games and it's very much like boggle. Very fun to compete with others to see how you rate. I like the quick game. Only drawback is that there is sometimes a glitch when the leaderboards don't show up but it's not often.

Game was fun at first, but has been repeating the exact same game board for over 12 hours now. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but still got the same game board. Tried to email support from the app, but that doesn't seem to work either. Very disappointing because this *was* a fun game.
