The game should be able to be paused and returned to at a later time since this is an offline app. Instead, the game must be played in its entirety without closing the app. Most of the words that the computer plays are very obscure words that I have never heard of and some are not even real words. The last game I played got to our last turn and froze. I was winning by over 100 points. It would be nice to have a vertical view option. Most of the buttons on the horizontal view are uneccesary
Only gave 3 stars because this game freezes often. Some words aren't in the dictionary. I look them up. And or if I try and use that exact word it says" invalid" what's up with that! Otherwise I rather enjoy the game if it wouldn't freeze up so much. Update 01/31/2020... Still freezing up big time. I'm at the point of deleting. Very frustrating
Gave up, annoying and difficult to get letters to stick in box, you have to drag it there over and over and over. Weird arrow shows up on board and does not respond, have to reset and start word over. played a test word, it counted as played then I had to play it again and be credited again to advance to opponents turn. Can't scroll through game panel to see past words and who played what. No dictionary. ETC!
I actually like this game better than the real scrabble game.This game would be great if your letters wouldn't get stuck and freeze when your trying to play and its this annoying arrow that keeps popping up. I wish this could get corrected but until then I have to delete the game. I cannot have fun trying to play a game that keeps getting stuck. Please fix so I can download again. Thanks
Its great for practice and learning, but the letters have to be lined up perfectly or they wont set right and you have to push a button to check to see if the word is acceptable. Those are extra steps that are unnecessary. So thats an easy fix im sure, or not. Thats why you got a 3 star from me.
Excellent...one reviewer asked what the arrows were for, plus others saying cannot put tiles in correct place. I've worked it out...all you do is press on the square where you need the first letter, the arrow will appear, and press again to indicate which way you want the word to go (across or down), then choose your letters to go there. If it's wrong press reset. Simples Lol. Happy Scrabbling! Xx
The game keeps freezing. I have played it many times and it is soooooo frustrating, I give up. Also sometimes the letters will not line up. The game really needs sorting out or removed which is sad as it is basically a good alternative to the new Scrabble which I don't like either ð
Good App. Enjoyable, although the screen is small & hard to see. The letters can be difficult to move around. Playing against the computer is easy, yet I can't seem to get back to the same game which is frustrating.
It is a very good game. But I've given it 4 stars because it is frustrating when it very occasionally freezes part way through a game and you can't finish it. If you try closing and opening it, it starts a new game.
fun game but many glitches. tiles get stuck behind other tiles and game freezes or you have to move around the other tile. arranging letters either on the board or on your own can get stuck. spaces with no letters are sometimes assigned a letter nearby. can still play but annoying.
Its fair, you need to work on placing of tiles. It could be difficult to place a tile until you zoom before you could do it, zooming is also too large. Word calculation is not accurate.
the app crashes and freezes often (and at the most inopportune times :-) I like that it can be played offline. The tile placement is tricky and works most reliably when zoomed in - and zooming in each turn gets a bit tedious
I enjoy the game. Would be 5 stars but it is difficult to move letters to the board unless you zoom in, then you can only see a small portion of your board. Also I do not understand the arrows that pop up on the board, the don't make it easy to move letters around.
Enjoyable......if I could make one constructive criticism, it's that the computer 'players' could be more competitive...... It's not so cool to always beat then by more than double their score...... Could you configure a computer level of easy, medium or difficult perhaps?
love the word game, it's educational, learn new words every day. keeps you're mind sharp. only one thing, it'll freeze up on me once in awhile. also, you all should add more difficulty levels. other than that I think you all got it down ð to perfection.
I love to play word games and this is one of the best...it's challenging, it's fair, and it doesn't make social interaction a must, as some people are introverted and just want to play without stress. So far i really enjoy it. Thanks!!!!
there is absolutely no ad to interrupt you; however, time to time, the game was stuck and could not continue the game. there is no level. it is easy to win. the best thing was offline you can continue to play.
I really like this game! It challenges me! Update: 12/6/2020 the fame freezes now and when I solve the word it did not reward me. I am trying to play it right now and make the bonus word "ring" and the game has been frozen for a while now. This is my favorite word game.
A very hard time laying down the tiles, because they are so small. I'd have to click down in the board multiple times for each one because it was so tiny. Otherwise, the game was good.
Freezes towards the end of the game. The only way to get out is to totally restart my phone. It's very frustrating, especially when I'm winning. I have tried to give feedback, but it won't allow it. That is why I'm giving 3 stars. Otherwise I enjoy the game.
There are lots of word games, but I like this one the most out of the games I've installed as it makes me dig deeper in my brain for good words to use with the letters I have. My only criticism is it freezes now and again.
I really like this game. It does stick occasionally, but mostly it's a lesson in how to stay cool and win. It keeps my brain going, and I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the very infrequent freezing. I recommend it.
The game is quite educative. I will rate the game excellent if the developer will add RESMUE MODE to it. sometimes, when playing scrabble, I got stocked so what I do mostly is I quit the game to refreshe my brain. When I resume I tend to articulate well. aside this complaint, the game as I earlier said is quite educative.
in the beginning,there were alot bugs they had to workout. But now, I can say" WordMeister is the best". Better than any other Scrabble version games Heck even better than Scrabble itself
Great game but so frustrating when it freezes for no reason in the middle of playing. They need to address this problem as it detracts from the enjoyment.
I enjoy the game with players that enjoy the challenge of competing. It keeps you sharp on your word knowledge.I wish that there would be a point where a person that takes longer than a certain amount of time with automatically forfeit the game. Most of the time when I'm winning by to 300 points a person stay stuck in think mode and never comes back.
