Words with Android

I paid for the full verion of this app. I wanted a Scrabble game without ads or a need to be online, and this delivers. Haven't used any of the online player features but they appear to be available. I hate that the AI likes to make 2-3 letter words that it bunches up around my words in word clusters, making it difficult to build onto the board. But it's not really an issue. More annoying than anything. It adds... character, to the challenge of the game.

Easy to play, a good choice of levels. I'm happy that I can play offline as I travel a lot,and don't always have internet access.Yet to try the bluetooth option,but if its as good as the rest, I'll be well chuffed!(very happy). Some words I don't recognise,and wouldn't be allowed in scrabble, but I can work round this. Well done to the developer. EDIT: I've taken note of your suggestion and also changed the dictionary . Thanks for that. 👍

I love the fact that it can be played offline, against the computer/AI and that you can review all the words played in the current game, as well as look up the meaning of words. However, it's difficult to see the AI's play, as the AI moves too fast! Developer, it would be great if: 1) The AI could place tiles slower (it would also feel like a real life opponent) 2) Only the tiles the AI placed were highlighted (not tiles already down) 3) EACH WORD formed is marked with a border Many thanks! :-)

I like the fact that you can play against the ai... and offline. The only things I dont like, which makes it so I cannot play would be the game keeps trying to flip to portrait mode even though I have that disabled on my cell, so it has made me more than a little motion sick. I prefer my games nothing portrait aka wide screen. Also the letters and grid are SUPER tiny. I don't like to squint to play something that is suppose to be leisure.

So happy to find this game after my Kindle Touch died. I haven't been able to find scrabble on any other device except the sucky app with an ad every time you play a word. The only thing weird about this one is that you get the 50 point bonus when you use up the last of your letters in the final round. Everything else is great!

Its ok, shouldnt be so hard to play with a friend. Having to add a password is one thing but if they dont join right away, good luck finding the game u created or creating a new one with the same password because it will tell u that there is an unfinished game with that password. Well duh, where is it. AI isnt much of a challenge but its ok to pass the time. Would rate 5 if i could actually play with my friend at my own time/pace.

I love the game, but had to undownload because of freezing my whole phone to the point I have to hard shutdown multiple times a day, weird noises even when phone volume is off and game sound is off. It sounds like a fight going on, people shouting and yelling in a crowd. It's unfortunate because the game is awesome. My son and I love to play it but it seems to have too many bugs still.

my experience could have been great as I love the game but the game sets you up for a guaranteed loss. If i was able to make a word . All letters i got were 4 Ns 3Ps . 4 As 3 Os etc . kind of hard to make a word. Once in a while is ok but the AI is playing by itself . As well as ai cant add . A word that should add up to say 20 points it adds up to 40 .but doesnt cheat with my words .

Enjoyable. But there are times words from my Scrabble dictionary are rejected. Also: even on hard mode the average point count of the computer is around 8 points. that's not what i would expect from "hard mode". there wasn't any visible difference between that and easy.

I ĺike this game a lot. It is similar to scrabble but makes a change. I keep going back to it. I like the fact that you can take as much time as you need to add a word. Definitely think it is worth downloading and not any adds.

The app has been great so far. Great interface having the entire scrabble board features. Great work by the developer. I think the AI needs to be a better player than it is at the hard level and more scrabble words should be added to the dictionary. On the overall, thumps up!

I like being abe to play offline and being able to play the AI instead of being forced to play another person or feeling forced into a membership or watching so many ads it takes forever to play. I have trouble getting the letters where I want them to go by dragging. I would like to click or touch a letter then touch where i want it to go.

All of these games share an algorithm that gives you the worst letters & no way to play them. It also gives the computer the best letters. The computer can see your letters, but not vice versa. Tiles do not drop randomly. You had to program them to drop in a certain pattern. Liar.

I absolutely love this game, no problems whatsoever since I started playing it and I love the fact that you can choose how hard or easy you want the game. I also love the fact that you can choose between playing with AI or friends and the most awesome aspect this game is NO unwanted ads... thanks for a great job keep it up!

Fun and a great way to pass the time! Been playing for a while and wondering how the winner is decided. On multiple occasions the computer was deemed the winner when I've had several tiles left. If open to a suggestion, why not declare the player who uses up all of their tiles first as the victor?

I've never liked scrabble but I do enjoy word games. This scrabble game is actually fun. The Ai has crazy, never heard of words but when I look them up they are real words! The Ai actually plays his way and I play my way. He rarely interferes. The game is relaxing instead of stressful. I put 4 stars because the dictionary quit working. It's more fun without a dictionary. I don't have hints. The game is free and I don't get ads until I finish the game.

Very good word game similar and as comparable with scrabble but without those annoying ads. Pity it does not accept all the same two letter words as scrabble. Having said that highly recommended. Still enjoying playing but find it strange computer never has to exchange tiles and always gets last go even though you are out of tiles

Excellent interface. My main interest is the single player vs AI but it is too easy to beat on Hard and too hard on Nightmare. I wish there was a more granular difficulty setting so that it is challenging for me to beat but not impossible.

Game is great. I play against the computer and it's a good challenge. Now I've played this game for a few months and I still enjoy it. A small problem is that sometimes it will reset its self to a harder level when I play the computer and it takes me a few losing games to figure it out. After several months, I still think it is a great. Highly recommend this game.

Enjoy this game, just play the computer...can be frustrating sometimes as it plays weird archaic words at times but of course, all within its scrabble dictionary. Would like to be able to see how many tiles the computer is playing with towards the end of the game but no biggie.

Would like to see computer use something other than two or three letter words that make it harder to play. I enjoy a challenge, but as I progress, it gets much harder & takes too long to play. I love the game though.

The app often crashes so we had to relaunch the game to continue playing, some letters cant be dragged to the boxes and we also had several events where in 2 player game, 80% of the games, one of the players is going to get 6 vowels and 1 consonant over and over again until you finish the game.

This is a decent app. Main reason for installing and using it is, it has less Ads. They don't annoy us constantly with so many Ads for each word we keep. There are some flaws like not updated dictionary, hard to put and sort letters etc. but still totally worth installing

It's pretty good except sometimes the letters won't go into the squares you drag them to and you have to keep trying over and over. It also needs an option to take back all of the letters you've laid out rather than having to move them one by one

Great game for one on one play using the bluetooth option. One 'bug', since the big update, the 50 point bonus for using all your tiles at the end of the game is no longer awarded. This is the best 'Scrabble' type game available. Cheers!

Too many foreign words! I could opt to exclude them, but it never removed them from the "computer's" score. Update: full screen annoying ads took over whenever I opened it. Had to uninstall! Would take stars off if I could.

The setup is not consistent with the rules. You finish your tiles and the computer still plays! And it creates silly words like (goodwife)???? Surely?? 2. I think its not fair, infact in four situations am winning and then AI plays after I have finished my tiles and it wins! Surely not fair. Thanks for the response though.
