Great app, well though and designed. Edit - Reply : Overall it's very good, there's just a few bugs frequently with the word revision page. When you review all the words you're supposed to learn for the day, on my phone (Moto 5G, Android 8.1.0) it sometimes go back to the beginning. That means in order to continue, I would have to scroll forward 50+ words one by one - honestly most of the time I don't bother and just stop for the day. Maybe a "smoother" scroll, that would allow to drift along that list, could help a bit. Sorry I hope this is not completely confusing, I can send a screenshot of said page if necessary. Really like the recent update however. And all the personalization tools.

This app is great, I learn quickly but I have a problem : when I wanna load a video, it doesn't work. It says something like "couldn't retrieve the ad for the moment, try later" I have a good WiFi and I don't understand why I couldn't load some ads... However, I love this app, thanks.

This app is exceptional, the idea is amazing and brilliant! But I'm having some problems with lagging and having to restart the app multiple times due to panels not working properly or not loading. And I also have a suggestion, since it's possible to input our own word list, I thought to have a function to output a file with the app word list (a .txt or .pdf). Best regards!

This app would have been awesome if only it stabilised on the optimum performance it offered once. The marking of unknown words with red was far better than transparency. When one looks up for a word and gets into its page then swipes back, they have to write the word again to choose whether to mark it known or to learn. In the past that wasn't the case. You swipe back to find what is written on the search maintained which was more time saving.

I really like this program, despite the problems, including freezing, it is useful. There is only one thing on my nerves, and that's when I have selected the British accent, the program continue reading sentences in the American accent. By the way beautiful theme for flash cards in this new update!

It comes in handy, nice features, graphics and examples to make your learning process even more enjoyable so you are less prone to procrastinate. It sound like an ad, lol, but I am genualy fond of this app and I've only being using it for a ahor time. I will definitely recommend to expand your array of vocabulary at any level!

This app is by far the best app to expand your vocabulary. You only learn the words that you selected. It's very effecient and the main functionality is free. The ads are good (mostly charity/universities), not too interruptive. I know the grammar and conversational language, but unable to read complex books. So this app is just perfect for me. Bottom line - if you know grammar and want to expand your vocabulary, this is the most efficient way to do it. Edit. The app itself is very laggy

Looks like my previous review was deleted. Upgraded version of the app is awful. Terrible UX. All words are messed up. 100+ words to review. Before there was only 2 options while reviewing. Now I've to tap the definition/picture multiple times. Same word is reviewed 10 times in a day or one shot. It's so annoying! Can't learn new words easily unless you finish all the reviews (which is too slow). Too many ads(even while reviewing). Worst UI after the upgrade. I'm gonna cancel my subscription

Even though the concept of the app is great, the upgrade version of the app is awful. Just keep asking the questions for the same word you just learnt (around 5 times for each word in a row, I don't think it is a bug rather the problem of learning mechanism, already cleared the cache before learning), which may improve your short term memory but useless for the long term memory (and annoying!) Should reference to the mechanism of Anki, the flashcard apps. I am gonna cancel my membership

Sorry to say that. I have been working with this brilliant app fo more than two years and it has had an undeniable effect on my vocab knowledge. Nevertheless, by recent so called improvement, I have some lag, hang and freezing with the app I think somehow it has lost its user friendly feature. Having said that, this improvement shows some new innovative features but overall for me it has caused productivity problem. So amending that would be appreciated.

Terrible after update, if not corrected I'll need to cancel membership. Edit: I've spent over 100 hours on the old version (Spaced repetition and 3 answers to choose from to see if you know the word). This new version has pictures and will even just pronounce the word and have you select the written form; it's also extremely glitchy. I wasn't going to write a review until I looked at a comment on similar issues from almost a month ago. Need to look for an alternative app for now.

You've made this app change completely different one. Functions that made me purchase that I really liked all have gone. As I find unkown words in studying, I searched them in this app to learn to save. And the words you classiffed in levels were useful for me to meet new words I need to study. The latest update is completely failure. I'd like to want you pay back. Who would feel fine if the product you bought have changed completely difference.

Hi, I am sorry to tell you that the new version is a catastrophic deed. It is so slooooow. You have to wait for more than five minutes to start the app; moreover, you need to wait the same amount of time to continue your learning, and some words keep manifesting again and again even if you've just memorised them. I am really disappointed with the last version. I've recommended your app to so many of my friends as my favourite app. Please fix it as soon as possible.

My favourite vocabulary app. I've been using it for years but the last update: 1 After answering the question if you open the examples, you can't choose between review after a few days or review tomorrow anymore 2 The videos from TV series have all been replaced with YouTube videos Though some of the new features are really good like the different kinds of questions and the new interface Hope they bring the view example options back!!!

Wow! You guys changed the app completely. I really miss the old one. Sorry to tell you that I don't need a vocabulary app like games which many other companies offer. That is why I enjoyed using your app, the old version. I don't want to be forced answering quize whenever I open the app. I don't want to learn vocabulary AI picks and recommends. I want to learn and practice English words that I am interested in at the time. Wish I could choose the old or new version...

Overall the app is structured very well. It is really helpful and so far is the best vocabulary building app that I have found. However from time to time it stops functioning and working. It just freezes and stays like that. That's so frustrating and annoying.

This is a master piece! I'm impressed by this app and already can see some first results! I've received an updated version today that is really better than the previous one. Well there is one small UX issue (my footer doesn't fit the display - it is cut off), but think it will be fixed soon. Great app! Like it.

Very unstable app I've ever seen in Play Store. Your phone will get spoilt using this junk. Try any other stable app. Reply: Can't tell immediately. I'll use it for a week and update you. Update: Nothing improved. Still crashing itself. My phone has SD 888 processor. There wasn't no other apps running in background while using this app. Going to leave this app permanently.

Such a wonderful app, it has helped me through my years of learning, butbas for now, after the update it just crashes non-stop and won't allow to add new words to "Need to to learn", since the buttons on the bottom of the card are simply absent, which makes the app 90% useless. Hope for the updates and fixes in a foreseeable future :) My phone: Samsung Galaxy S9+

This has been one of my most used app in recent years. Sadly, the latest update crashes once every few minutes. I like the new ideas and I can see the team trying to improve the app. Please do not get overly engrossed with interface. A stable app is what users want.

Can't say I'm a fan of the new update overall its working very slow, and crashes randomly, the picture options dont make any sense, and more than a few time i had 2 or 3 dictations that were they same but said i chose the wrong one,. P.s. please bring back the feature that showed how much time spent learning

It's an excellent app for one who wants to improve their vocabulary. It never disappoints to those who go with it. Very versatile and understandable in different modes which you prefer. I'm fond, of this app from the the beginning and also recommend to go on and must try.

In the past was good app,but now one of the worst app,all time freezing, totally slow and rubish,and just looking for upgrade and your money, not for being useful, ye just for your money, first absorb and addicted you to this app then freezing and slowing app to get your money!!!!!

I practice memorise vocabulary with this application for more than one year, it really helped me a lot. But, the new update is really not good it has a lot of bugs.

There is a problem! In the first tries asking with quiz(choosing between options) is good but if it only asks do you remember this word in the last tries of that word, it will be better! Because knowing the word as a single word without options shows we really learned it and asking as a quiz in the last tries isn't good at all!

I love this app. I also tweeted about it like ten times, mostly because of the free pro feature, but I also believe in it. That is, until the last update which is forcing me to choose a reminder. Screw that. I do not want reminders. But the app just keep bugging me about choosing a time! Like between every single word I review. I am going to choose a time, then promptly disable its' notifications. But I had to give it 1 star rating because of this super annoying behavior.

Some word that I know that won't be used much in my life and I don't want to learn that at this time but I cannot so anything else when it just has 2 option: should learn and known! I must review those words every day. meanwhile, the Mobile Version and the chrome extension version are not synchronized. There are 2 different UX design and the word-list not the same.
