FB is forcing you to install a separate app just to have chat and yet the most important function - getting notified about new messages doesn't work half of the time.
I hate workplace chat. For loads of reasons but specifically when you write a message and go to another screen (to check a date or whatever) the entire written message disappears
If it's made mandatory by your employer, good luck. Takes forever to load, if it loads at all, it's buggy and no matter how many times I turn on my notifications/check if it's running in the background I don't get them until maybe 5 hrs later. Ridiculous.
Got a few bugs in which the chats and images doesn't display correctly, but works fine overall.
- Voice message bug. You need to close it and reopen the app to do it. - Media bug. You can't edit a picture before sending it. Requesting to fix these.
it's ok, hit and miss on working correctly. one day I get notifications, the next day (or 5 months) I get no nothing.
great for enterprises. However, a bit slow on my Google Pixel 2 compared to other similar apps.
The app works great for it's purpose. I wish there was a way to mute or disable notifications when I'm not clocked in but other than that it's great for work communications with teams, supervisors, groups, etc. Plus the video and voice calling features actually perform better than Facebook Messenger, considering that the parent company for both is Meta I think Messenger should take some tips from work chat's dev's to improve call functionality.
it takes to long to get answered, and having to explain complex issues in text takes far far longer than actually speaking to someone
Does not integrate with native Android 12 features that regular Messenger does, like the conversations system and widget or system chat bubbles. I see no significant advantage to this app over Google Chat and I wish I could tell my bosses how stupid I think they are for making us use it.
Unable to join group calls initiated by others on my Android phone. Works well for those using iphone.
As a work communication platform separated from the program which it's architecture is from. It's brilliant. Not as actively maintained, but the foundations allow it to be consistent and streamlined.
This app disappointed me. There's cost for opening accounts but the app is even worse than messenger. Facebook need improve this a lot: searching, calling...
best business messaging so far I have used. not perfect but could be better..
- Needs data clear after few weeks - calls stops coming - misses notifications - no option to logout from all the devices
love being able to do work with group chats when issues arise, they get resolved way faster then email!
Since forward icon missing it's though to forward all pic together. Please enable it.
constant errors which force it to close, uses a lot of battery
seems to have a new issue every other day. can't block specific people, it'll hide chats randomly, and the camera function hasn't worked for like 3 months now.
Confusing interface. Lots of unnecessary controls. Web version does not work in all browsers.
App suddenly messages mentioned session expiry and need to clock Ok. Once click the app doesn't open. Now cannot open.
Meta? More like Beta. This app has more bugs than a teenagers bedroom. Stop trying to "improve" this app and leave it alone. Businesses rely on this app to communicate with colleagues. Even your desktop app is degrading over time with your updates.
When I get a call from work, wether it's from an individual or our group chat the app NEVER RINGS or notifies me that I have a call or missed call. About 2 months ago it would atleast vibrate and I'd have to go through and select each person to see who is calling bc once I went into the message it'd go staright to the call screen. Now it won't even do that and I'm getting wrote up for never answering calls bc the damn thing won't ring and our calls are never the same time so I can't plan for it
Easy to use and navigate through.
Everytime I downloaded this app , it kept on glitching on the login screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it a few times and it made no difference. I hate the fact that I have to download a separate app just to send messages.
App is not working. Cannot see groups, don't know if this is a glitch. The browser works fine but not the app
Always getting crashed.have to uninstall and install it multiple times.Sign up or Login welcome page gets refreshed with out even touching and not allowing user to select the option.
For me the WORST thing is getting workchat/workplace notifications while I'm off the clock. That definitely needs to be reworked so off the clock employees don't have to have that interrupting their lives, bc mine goes off all day after I leave and I work at 4am so unless I completely silence my phone (which sets my alarms to vibrate only for some stupid reason) it continually wakes me up when I'm sleeping.
