World History Offline

if you keep two or more notifications, they will open the wrong Today in history. Also, there's no way to check previous (Today in History) from within the app. Adding a search function for the offline articles would be extremely useful. Otherwise, I love the simplicity of this app, and would give it five starts

I am, as my late father was, a devoted student of history. World History Offline has the imprint of human history in a chronological timeline in one concise edition. Without this tool you need to research and read different authors and books even if you used Historical encyclopedias like Brittanica. Everything at your fingertips from cover to cover or beginning to end !

It is rare that I have ever been compelled to rate an app. But, this I believe is a rare app. It has been very helpful to become more familar with historical events in an a routine, easily digestible way. Good job!

Informative although some pages are repeated, discovered this in the Before 0 B.C. section and thought it was a glitch until I scrolled further. A bookmark feature would also be very useful especially in the longer sections, otherwise you just have to spam the arrow buttons and hope you can find your spot again after exiting the app or even just the section itself.

It's full of great info. BIG negative is you cannot send yourself or anyone the link for any of its contents. Only thing you can do is suggest someone install it. That alone would make me say NO to this app. If you can't share something fascinating from it what fun is it? If you can't send to yourself so you can keep the info - for any reason - again, what's the point? Too darn transient in function.

Very handy for quick reference, especially for offline use. Even has future dates of happenings listings. Very short summarized points are easy to cross compare chronologically.

Look at the wake from the stardust for we ahr perfect. Nice app. I wake up everyday with an interesting fact to read about history. Its informative and written so almost anyone with basic English can comprehend. The fact that its not long winded makes me happy,I can read it quick and start my day. The app is simple to use no t bogged down with issues. Definitely a 6 star app. Sorry I dont go past 3 starts. But after I liked it enough to write this for them and didn't give it a 1 star.

Some historical facts are altered to serve some groups, which makes me doubt the truth in the rest of the contents. Sorry, but history has to be written as it happened. Don't add your touch, this isn't a book of fairy tales you are writing!! Uninstall, DON'T recommend.

Today in History is always interesting and informative. The standard pages referring to different time periods have almost too much information packed into each section.

At first i didnt think i liked this app. I expected it to be like a textbook and its just an outline. But it is a very thorough outline. Every year one by one. Ive learned alot. Its facinating. Definitely recommend if u r a history nerd like me.

I have gained more knowledge with this App than I ever could have in normal searches. This App has it all. The "This day in History Noticvcation" is great. If not for yourself, get it for you children.

I have not had time to peruse it to realistically perceive it. It would be premature and/or wildly presumptuous to critique or rate it. I suggest the rating system be adjusted to a later time after one has had some experience with it ... Sincerely, Laurel

A collection of brief descriptions concise and useful for follow up research. Overall very good.

Whoever made is did a very well job i must say. Lots of great offline reading materials! Great feature with a notification every day letting you know big events in history for that day.

A very handy and helpful reference. But does it have a search capability. It will be excellent if it has.

This app is not what I was expecting, I thought I was gonna be paragraphs not just little tiny descriptions on time in history. It's not a great app is very misleading.

Congratulations for bringing many important events to this app so that we can know where we were so as to prepare where we'll be. But, you have also to add other events so that this page may be the site for researchers. Thank you a lot !

I am impressed. It contains all events in chronological order, albeit without much information. But it is helpful, nonetheless.

Not very useful. All topics are topics are listed by date. There are no categories or search capabilities.

Very informative. It provides historical information which is highly summarised and interesting to read. I only wish the info could still be readily availed days after.

Great app. I am a history buff and this app 'fits' well with that bucket of kowledge. Also has a "history of the day" toggle to get a random history shot! Love it.

You can know what happened on this day ..every day history is at your fingertips with discretion ..and the best thing is its offline ..so thanks for a fantastic app .

The App helps me to learn and know the past as a process of guiding me to avoid repeating mistakes.

Very useful informative app BUT if I could add anything it would be to ve able to do "keyword" searches, otherwise, great app.
