App has a lot of different sources, which I like. It is very frustrating because it will not play videos from any source. It plays the ads, but player stops when the actual video is supposed to play.
Would be much better if you removed content that requires a subscription. (ex. The New York Times) and possibly add more sources for articles instead of using so many that just copy /paste the same article over and over again. Still a very good app and is a keeper in my opinion.
This is my new "go-to" world news source. No other news app gives me such a rapid and comprehensive overview. If I want to read more, I click on the Web link. I can scan a particular geographic region, check video news, or choose Breaking News. It does the job for me!
World news is a great news app. With an easy to use format. I love browsing through headlines without a glare hitting me in the eye. Simple and perfect app to keep myself updated.
This app offers US news, UK & Europe News, and Africa/Asia news, but where is Canada, Central and South American News? Also when you click on a headline to read the story, it just opens the headline again and makes you click (again) to go to the story, duhhhh, I clicked the headline to read the story so take me directly to it!!
My all time favorite app and source of news.
The only problem I have With this app is that it proposes articles from sources that require that you subscribe to read them. Half of the articles that I open quickly block the page with requests for money. As a result I use this app less and less. Update: a reply to this review said that: 1) that made sure that the site wasn't blocked 2) that the sources were unbiased. My answer: 1) I will not subscribe and pay to read an article from a specific source like the NYT, when I am using an app giving me access to news from different sources. That would defeat the purpose of using the app. 2) What does this have to do with the supposed unbiasedness of the sources? This was a token reply, which does not address my points. My impression of this app is even lower than before.
I usually try the different news apps but among all this world news app is the best news app among all. Startup news, Business News, Entertainment News and everything. Easy to use and simple layout. Best news app.
I appreciate being able to quickly scan through the news headlines and follow the links where I can read more on the topic of interest to me. The site is mostly clean of adds and you get news from all over the world, not just from one country.

UI is a bit naive but bearable. The two main things which makes this app awesome are that it has all the possible categories of news and seamless live streaming of well known international news channels. After downloading I was gratified with the way you were presenting the news. I deleted it after three days because of the lack of updated articles... I'm looking for a news app that will give me news that isn't eight hours old.

Originally an excellent app, each recent update has made it successively harder to manage the news lists. I can no longer recommend it.

Latest version not to my liking. Full page ads pop up. Performance slow enormously, probably due to source of news feed.

Today's US "news" was heavily slanted to stories from Christian Broadcast News. Unfortunately, the App developers don't know the difference between news and propaganda. Uninstall!

I've tried half a dozen news aggregators since Google News became more movie theatre than newspaper. This one's simple and easy to use, it has an intuitive interface, and it doesn't try to make me watch video instead of read. I don't see anything wrong or suspicious regarding data usage or permissions. I wish there were more good news, but I don't think the dev is at fault there 😎
