This game is really fun once you figure it out, but there's definitely some kinks that need to be smoothed out. The casualties from battles seem almost arbitrary and ships/ are far too delicate. It's not worth taking away from production to raise money for research/buying naval units. I think the game would benefit from visible unit statistics, grouping research in with the rest of the economy choices, a few new units, and some units should be alble to be grouped together without being transport
Love the idea, if only there was a faster way to skip time instead of 1 month at a time. Like if you have engaged an enemy youre not allowed to skip more than 1 month, and if you are just working on your economy and havent engaged in combat at all, and dont have any troops ungarrisoned, THEN you can skip up to 6 months at a time. Just to make the game a little faster. Also if there is a way to have the ability to edit a squad while they are ungarrisoned would be awesome! Otherwise, great game!!!
The game has a very great mechanic compared to other games aside that it has a touch of an alternate history where you can choose a side when you wanted to. Although the downside is that there are no formal diplomacy in this game, where the entente keeps attacking neutral countries for no reason, please fix that. It would also be great if you could add a sandbox mode where we can customize our own scenarios as we see fit.
It is very enjoyable, but the main problems I have is the movement range and the preset events. The AI doesn't follow the movement range, there are just certain cities that I cannot reach no matter what I do, the AI can though. The events railroad the entire experience and it is hard to really do anything against historical realism. Can be really good, but just falls short.
The game should have user-friendly commands, with easier ways to see and distribute your troops. Also I recommend to make it possible to get a better view of the map, as being possible to see it as a globe. The gameplay is so slow and with small possibilities during the battle time. Even though, I see s huge potential in this game, and if you develop it properly I would like to play it again. I hope my review helps you to improve!
I love this game but I have a few bones to pick with it. First of all the events as I've been in situations where because of them ive lost cities and there was nothing I could do about it, maybe add a way to bypass this. Secondly the range cap as the AI is not bound by it for some reason. Third this a suggestion that you could add the ability to blockade or besiege a city which give some form of penalty ie a penalty to recruitment and/or income.
From a strategy point of view, this is a really good game. Splitting troops to the exact number you want is great and it's challenging enough so that you aren't steamrolling through your enemies, but you also aren't getting pushed further and further back them. There are a few things that need to be polished, but there aren't many big issues. Upgrading tech is very hard, as prices go up astronomically even in a normal economic state. Other than that, really good game!
Awesome! I just suggest allowing us a game mode that is free play, or altering historical mode, where countries aren't forced into abdicating or ceding territory, but instead choosing to. For example; Germany is winning but they are forced to give up because the game rules so. I love this game as it's a lot like Hearts Of Iron IV but with mobile limitations, although if scripted events are focused more, this will be an amazing gameplay experience!
It was fun at first, but then I realised that you have a time limit. If doing history mode, you can't declare war after 1919. If doing random mode, eventually the enemies get so strong that you are destroyed even when you outnumber them 10 to 1, so eventually it becomes way too hard. I am not even going to try the other 2 modes. They probably have some sort of a time limit too.
I think this is a very good game, but it could have some improvements such as making the costs less costly and improve the maps. Also, maybe be able to upgrade faster. This is one of my favorite RTS, but once you win as one country you sort of dont want to spend the same amount of hours or more trying to win as another country, so maybe add levels or campaigns.
Look, I really do love this game, it's really fun to play; but there's a good few problems. The new implementation of limited distance travel was good concept but was poorly implemented into gameplay, making it incredibly difficult and even impossible for the player to fight and enemy Nation, while the AI could travel unrestricted and far. I'm also un-fond of when an Ai captures a city it puts an insane amount of units inside. This made it equally as hard to fight them as the travel system did
When I played the first version s of the game I love d every espect of it. But now the most annoying thing is the tech upgrades. It takes you almost 2-5 years to upgrade a plane or infantry, and the cost is relative to the number of cities so you have to wait. This makes expansion or survival hard especially for smaller countries. However I do like the army build ing and economy aspects so I will give it 3 stars.
The game definitely got better after the update, however the aircraft carrier system, which is definitely one of the most interesting things in the update does not work atleast in my experience. I was playing as Japan and attempted building a carrier in Tokyo, after building it, it just dissapeared never to be seen again. The money system i was kinda controlling (After watching every Ad i could.) Of course battle outcome still as random as ever and carrier system needs a fix but better.
Ok it's a great game but I have some complaints. 1 when you have 10000 troops to take out 1000 they wind up winning no logic. 2 the AI gets upgrades way too fast and it takes way too much money to upgrade your own and if you buy allied tech it's also really expensive. 3 If you take over some cities a historical event may take them away and if you try and take those cities back all the sudden they are military superpowers. That is all but this game is super fun and I still recommend 😊
The game is actually great and I love the idea, but the troops cannot move very far which is unrealistic. Also, the upgrades are really expensive !! I need almost 2 years (24 turns in that game) to upgrade one military !! In addition, when I finally have the chance to build an aircraft carrier and it has finished building, it vanished !! I don't know what happened but it wasted my money and where is my aircraft carrier ??!! Please fix that bug.
Basically what most of us in the comments are saying is that the game is addicting but it has many features that can be upgraded such as the amount of times you can leave an alliance and also i know there is a disclaimer that the historical mode(which is best) is difficult i can't shake the feeling of hopelessness in purchasing better upgrades while starting off in a country like Denmark
the game has good potential but is hindered by a lot of things mainly; 1)expensive military upgrades. Slow down or reduce the increase in price at least. 2)lack of tutorial. Advanced tutorial about the battlefield should be added 3)Unbalanced AI. AI can get both income and troops. should be limited 4)Too powerful troops. The battleships are way too powerful than any other troops and getting them is too easy for the AI. AI city with hundreds of battleship makes it impossible to invade enemy city.
From what I've played the game is pretty good. There are a few things I'd add. For instance it'd be cool if there was a way to edit borders for observation mode and see what happens. Also, observation mode seems to be bugged. Either that or I'm just not understanding it. Everytime I click to advance to the next month it just keeps going and doesn't stop.
Its been a favorite of my for years. The best War Strategy Concept I have ever seen. Just a few small problems with Resource Development in some of the countries, but overall 9/10. With some proper funding you could have a very successful game especially if it was to become cross platform.
You should add a zombie scenario that would be awesome or continue past WW2 in the original scenario. I've been playing this for years now. This is literally my all time favorite mobile game. Ive gone and tried others but i always seem to come back to this. I love the concept it has so much potential. There's a few small fixes that you could add or maybe a few extra mechanics down the road but overall this gam is terrific. IM GLAD I FOUND IT.
