It really needs online multiplayer, I pretty much only downloaded to play online... And the controls are quite terrible, doesn't come near being as good as playing on ps3, 360 or PC
A big thank you to the Team 17 crew for fixing the campaign glitch - everything seems to be going great. This game is awesome, and I love playing it whenever I can!
Playing this game is an awesome experience. I can see earlier versions had problems but I have been past the levels mentioned with no problems.
I got this game to play with people online. I can OCCASIONALLY find another person's game but it will never find the game I set up for my friend or visa versa. Happy to change review if this gets resolved asap
its a great game. i could play it for hours. the only problem is that it lags on my samsung tablet, which is brand new. which causes the game to misread the controls im putting in, so instead of a back jump (double tap), it wont read the 2nd tap and will jump forward, or it wont read releasing your finger off the fire button quick enough, so you end up over shooting. apart from the lagging, the control are pretty decent. just a shame it doesnt work properly
Really addictive game. In the beginning when I wasn't familiar with the controls. My impression was that it was a horrible and poorly designed game. But after a while, it's really fun. Unfortunately the campaign seems stuck after the 19th round but I still play the short quick games every once in a while and really hooked on this game. No regrets downloading this.

Yes, the default mobile controls are disaster. Everything else seems pretty much ok.
A great game that desperately needs an update. The controls are useless and the crashes are often. There is usually a second of input lag, but it's often more. The fact that they are still charging money for this game should be criminal. Either make it work with modern hardware or take it off the market
For the first few levels I was having a great time - nostalgic graphics and sound and fun gameplay on mobile (controls just a little difficult). Until I progressed to campaign level 19 and now the game crashes every few minutes. It would be 4 or 5 starts without this bug!
I used to play this on a Samsung A3 the controls were a bit laggy but consider the power of the phone I forgave the lack of performance. Playing this on a Samsung S8 I expected this to be a seemless performance however the controls are still incredibly laggy, moving and jumping are difficult and aiming is tricky. Using the super sheep is impossible due to the input lag. If this game wasn't so laggy I would have given it a much higher rating.
1) The resolution is microscopic. 2) Touch sensitivity to maneuver crosshairs while aiming is appalling. 3) If you touch the screen to zoom the players move. 4) Interface is not intuitive, at all. You hurt your players more than the opponent's. Conclusion: This game was a waste of money. It is nothing like the original game. Do Not Buy!
Changing my rating from 1-star up to 4-stars because... Hey! You fixed the glitches! Thank you thank you thank you. I'm still upset it took you this long, so I won't go to 5-stars. But it is a great game and I appreciate you finally rendering it playable once more. Thanks!
I loved this game as a kid and still love playing it on console. The controls on this version are so laggy and unresponsive that it makes it impossible to play. Save your money. I'm on a galaxy S10 so it's not a hardware issue causing the horrible, clunky, non responsive controls.
Disappointingly buggy, constant disconnects on wifi games (or unable to even connect at the lobby level). Was looking for a simple fun time to share with my partner and this wasn't it. Sad because I love this game on PC. I appreciate that the developers are updating, but there's still some ways to go.
