WorryTree

WorryTree has been designed to help you record and manage your worries on the go through a simple, secure app.

Based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques, WorryTree takes you through a series of decision steps once you've noticed that you're worrying about something:

1. Asking yourself, what are you worrying about right now?
2. Asking yourself, is this a worry that can be resolved or is it something you have no control over
3. Moving on, either by making an action plan for your worry (either now or later) or finding ways to distract yourself from your worrying thoughts.

WorryTree also lets you customise which distractions work best for you, as well as categorise your worries so you can see patterns over time. You can also set reminders so that you don't forget when you have made an action plan to deal with your worry but can't do it until later on.

WorryTree is not a substitute for professional mental health care, therapy or advice. If you're worried about any aspect of your mental health, or someone else's, you should always approach a professional.

This updated release of WorryTree helps you note and manage worries. We're also working on further functionality so that you can link through to relaxation music and other distractions - watch this space!

This is the best app honestly for anxiety or obsessive thinking. It's very simple and has a calm design and gives the user a feeling of empowerment in their life. It would be nice if it had features in the side menu like gratitude, guided audios, sleep sounds/or a panic button for relaxation breathing like some competitor apps have. I am close to making this one my main app but I was sold on the relax/panic button with breathing exercise visuals in the other apps.

I like the fact you can add a PIN. The UI is also amazing. I love the concept of this app and how simple it is to use. Custom categories are also a really good feature. I don't really have any criticism for this app, other than that it could maybe do with some more features? Like maybe some small things such as changing the colour scheme or background of the app?

This app is so simple, wonderful and functional at the same time. When I am worrying something, I just write it on this app, and then I feel much better. In addition, I also use this app as an "acceptance journal". For example, when I regret something I have done in the past, I write it here and accept it as a fact. Thus, this app accomodates "worry, regret, shame, and vulnerable".

I usually find it difficult to actually use the cbt techniques i learnt in therapy but by having an app for it really helps. A cute suggestion that I have for if the app gets updated: it would be really cool if like after resolving a worry their would be a visual of a tree growing or something like that

Was amazing but doesn't work anymore since the new update as doesn't let you resolve worries. UPDATE: Its now being fixed thankfully and now deserves 5 Stars Again. From being without this app I felt myself being a lot more negative and down and I couldn't find anything else that comes close to doing what this app does. Thank you for working hard to get back to normal :)

I love this app, it's so easy to use and most importantly, really effective. It gives me control and makes me feel like I'm proactively tackling any stresses rather than sitting on them and letting them get worse.

I think is a cute concept, but it doesnt work that great in my computer. For some reason the backspce doesnt work, so I cant type like that because i have a lot of mistakes while writing that I need to erase.

Thanks a lot. I make solutions for my worries and I read it daily before getting out of bed.It has really helped me reduce stress and love myself more.Sometimes the solution to our big problems is already within us,we just have to look a little deeper within..... Writing in this app is a good way to unwind and love myself more😊

Kindly add a box named "What can you do about it" above the "what are you going to do about it" box because it encourages brainstorming and shows us our available options to handle the worry. Good app overall
