I love this new app, it was super helpful in getting my All Ages Service planned for this coming Sunday! I'm curious, is there a way to input information into the various categories? Seems like a good idea for an ever-evolving tradition like ours...perhaps you could charge a membership fee to be able to do so as a means of content vetting?

I appreciate how organized the app is! I just hope future versions will allow us to copy the texts to paste into documents for easy program making and include the same search feature the website has.

ive had this app before on older phones and loved it. But the lack of updates has made it unusable. id really love it if it could be updated at some point.

Soooo glad for the update release! I really missed the old app. I hope the updates make it easier to keep up to date and add functionality

I can open the sections, but I can't open the individual articles contained within. It shuts down every time.

I miss the virtual chalice, but other than that, the app functions well and is what I was looking for in a UU app!

I otherwise really like this app, however lately the contents are just taking forever to open so I hope it's fixed

Needs to be updated, not functioning with current Android builds.

Finally, a long awaited update. Loving it for the most part as the texts are all finally available and I can favourite stuff now too. However, I miss the chalice lighter - as someone with disabilities that cause fatigue, I found the digital chalice useful as I cannot risk candles.

I enjoy the readings. It would be nice to have it updated with more. It's very user friendly and reasonably easy to find things. What I'm pretty unhappy about is the daily inspiration function. It works for awhile, but then eventually gives you the same words day after day. That's pretty ridiculous. I also thing the addition of the chalice is goofy...

If the UUA wanted to make an app for UUs, I wish they would have integrated some more meaningful content, such as articles from UU World, or even a "find nearby churches" feature. As it stands, it feels like a few things were pulled together just so we'd have an app.

The daily nugget of spirituality, scheduled to my needs, has brought a continued sense of faith even during the youth-young adult transition, where so many others lose touch with their UU upbringing. As a young adult from an obscenely long line of UUs, this app has helped fill the gap I was left with following the move off to college. Not to mention how cute and just nice the chalice is, especially with the feature of being able to actually blow out the flame. Overall, one of the most fulfilling apps ever.

This comes in handy whenever I need to lead the prayer or offer opening/closing words for an event. I am always able to find a reading that fits the occasion. It seems like a lot of readings are from 1997, however. I'd like some more recent ones. A bio on the authors would be nice too. I'm relatively new to UUism and haven't heard of any of the authors.

I find the chalice lighter a little hokey, but it's cute. I love the daily readings, but I wish they were more easily searchable. A few days ago I read one about the power of words to heal or harm, but then my phone rang and it was gone. Just try a search for the word "words"!! Overall I'm very pleased and look forward to seeing further development and additional readings.

Problem With designating favorites.

As a reasonably tech savvy young adult as well as a lifelong UU. I found myself disappointed with this app as a whole. The one positive feature that it has is the chalice. However the drawbacks are quite numerous. There is not alot of readings, simple/boring presentation, and where it really lost me was the complete lack of any youth or young adult material. As the future of our movement and a huge demographic for something like this it might be wise to include. Poor use of a potentially great platform-adam

If a user uses the app, an unsolicited meditation appears in the menu bar each day for two or three days after each use. The meditation has to be clicked through to in order to remove it. I feel repulsed by the app's attempt to assert a continuous place in my life instead of being at my beck and call, as an app should be - especially since it's a UU app. Feels too door-to-door creepy to me. Otherwise a great app, but fails to meet baseline expectation of non-advertiser, non-evangelistic behaviour.

Found out after emailing them that this app is no longer active. No one updates it or does any maintenance on it. Sone of the readings are outdated. It was great at one time. Need an updated version to keep with the times and help bring in the tech savoy crowd.

This is a wonderful idea. I love having the readings available, but the daily message doesn't work; I turn it on and it turns itself off. A move to SD card option would also be very useful.

Oh my spirit of life and all things holy, I love this app. It has struck a chord deep withing the chambers of my heart, and provides insight that O will charish as long as I live. I also think the chalice simulator is pretty 'lit' hehehe

I really love this app. Updated readings would make it better. I've encountered some glitches with the daily part of the app - I'd get the same one for weeks on end - but it may have been my phone.

Kinda sad. No way to get to settings.Needs to be updated desperately. Has potential but seems that no one is actually paying attention to it.

On my older phone the app worked better. With my new one, cannot find Settings to make adjustments. Also, I agree with the many comments for an updated version with new readings and a UU location finder.

This app makes my day a little bit better each time I use it. The readings are great. I've even meditated to the flaming chalice that you get to customize, very cool!

I like the concept, but the blow to extinguish function does not work on my phone.

There is NO way to save to favorites. Principles are ok for children, but not good to share with adults. Enjoy the "daily"inspiration, but is occasional & NO setting to change it

It has great info, but the daily readings are broken, I get the same one everyday.

Great chalice, but I'm unable to access the settings with my Pixel. Please fix this!! This could be something really special.

I'm new to U.U. and this app. So as I keep working with it I'll raise the score. One thing I was slightly disappointed in, in the inspirational words there is a collection for Mother's Day but not one for Father's Day.

The app functions very well, but the Inspirational Words should be updated, and it needs a feature to keep the phone from sleeping when the chalice is lit.
