Wort Homebrew Calculator

Great, especially being free, and no ads. It can take some playing around to figure it out, and the bottle priming calculator doesn't allow me to put a decimal in for volumes of co2 on my phone. But it's free and I have no other complaints. It has a bunch of ingredients by default and allows editing when putting them in if they don't match what you're using, and has quite a few different calculators which are very helpful. Would recomend.

Like the flow and transition of features and GUIs for setting up a recepie. The lists for selecting ingredients is fine but missing quite a few that I needed - nevertheless it allows you to add but which those newly added items would save to the list. A few bugs such as changing from boil to mash wasn't saving. Doesn't allow to change the strike and sparge water actual tempratures. Can use a few improvements. In general it has been excellent with learning and trying new recipies.

I like Wort. It's fairly simple to use and exactly what I was wanting. It may not be as in-depth as other brewing apps, but it is a whole lot cheaper(free!). Great for beginners who don't need to spend a lot before deciding whether this hobby is right for them. Would love to be able to save new hops/grains that aren't already in the database, rather than having to re-enter them constantly.

Very easy to use. Wish it would use final values to calculate efficiency but it is easy enough to do in another app. All in all it is very helpful for building and testing recipes against the style guide. Would recommend to others!

Great calculations and easy to use. Timer crashes when moving to next step on boil and won't reset making it unusable. All other parts of the app work well. I like the icon selector on the top and calculators will come in handy. Thanks!

Works. Does all required calculations for you and the style notes are very helpful, all in a free app! It requires some tinkering/experience/knowledge to get it dialed in to your setup, but that is the same with all apps of this nature.

Very nice app, super simple recipe creator, accurate estimations so far for me, nice extra features like brew timer, SG correction, etc. Would love to see an equipment profile selector (hate to set boiloff rate, losses etc by hand every time). Has some minor bugs, though.

perfect for the beginner and the calculations are robust! I am very happy with it. The only hassle i have come across is if I share a recipe the conversion from metric to imperial does not happen seamlessly and the values have to be inputted manually.

I really enjoy using this app for saving recipes and adding notes during the brewing process; it adds a lot of convenience and increases my chances at getting consistent results which I appreciate as an amateur home brewer. Would like to see an increase in variety in the ingredients since some are missing, but it covers the bases for most recipes I've seen. Great job!

Great app. Love its simplicity - easy & quick to learn how it works. Hope newer version will save added ingredients to databases for reuse and some clear reference to which units are used will add value. In my experience it underestimate colour.

Love the app! Some tweaks I'd recommend for optimization would be a confirmation prior to deleting an ingredient, folders to organize recipes and a refractometer calculator. Otherwise, this app is great! Much more stable than other *paid* apps. Thanks for your hard work!

Good features, ugly UI. I cannot delete recipe items, so its unusable for me. Edit: items can be deleted by swiping left or right. I tried to move them everywhere by pressing long an item and moving which seemed intuitive. Sooo user or usability error.

Great app, 4 stars only because when you scale up a recipe, some times it doesn't scale mash volumes, could be user error though... other then that it's an amazing reference point to have handy on brew days, and super easy to write recipes with!!!

The calculations when trying to hit your targets are super helpful, it also showed how far off the mark I was to one brew that I didn't calculate properly. Really enjoying it so far.

Very good app. Great for creating and saving recepies, making calculations, and comparing results to expected results based on the style. The app is open every time I brew.

Very thorough app, many variables, you are in control and some folks might not like that. Simple and effective design allows creating and measuring the multiple aspects of your process. The calculators are very handy and make conversions or measurements easily obtainable.

Really like this app, I plan on purchasing the pro version, just because the free version is that good. Suggestion for next version, add search in the grains, yeast, hops and misc tabs, Also add Best Malz grains.

Super easy to store recipes, make changes, and get ideas. Also some very useful features like priming calculator are nice to have.

wish I would have found this app sooner. doesnt have everything beer smith has, but is easier to use. I have not purchased the paid version, but the free version does not have adds which is nice.

A little rough around the edges, but this is worth using. - draw up recipes and get feedback on expected ABV, IBUs, color, etc. - record past brews in case you ever want to repeat them - use calculators (brix, gravity correction) that you'd normally have to go to the internet for.

Really like the app. Great selection and ease of use. Feels like an upgrade from my prior app, however did not have some Ingredients I use. Plus calculators are great.

Amazing app! Ingredients list is large but there were a few kry ingredients likr certain extracts that were not listed. However, with a little time you can add those. I've done over 10 beers and the estimated abv, color, and ibu are spot on.

Seems to be pretty accurate with the scaling and as it makes the calculations easier its worth the rating

Love this free option! Has lots of calculators and stores recipes. I just learned to swipe to delete a recipe. I like how I can quickly throw together and idea and see how bitter it will be, etc.

As a new hobby brewer this has been very helpful to get my quantities correct and other bits and bobs. Only criticism is there is no instructions for new brewers, need to do research before using. Help guide would be great. Keep up the good work and thanks very much.

Easy to use. Great for designing your own recipes. The Style Guide is great as a regular check on how your recipe compares to standard style.

A quick and easy app to use, a lot more straightfoward than some. It does lack a temperature adjuster.

Easy to use, all the tools I need at my fingertips. Don't drop your phone in the boil kettle. Helps me with repeatability of my favorite recipes

Only issue i have with the app is when it comes to yeast attenuation. It doesnt change no matter the yeast used. Other than that its amazing
