I have written 3 1 star reviews but those have all been deleted. Do not download this app it is a waste of time they do not have any bonds to buy and it has been that way for months. You give your bank info out for no return.
Finding that I cannot login via the app after the most recent update. Luckily the website login still works.
I love worthy bonds, so much that I want to share it with my friends, however I don't have confidence that they'll like the app and the functionality it has. It feels like a subpar web browser, you often can't click on things (I tap interest reports 20 times and they don't come up). No option for biometrics yet. Hopefully they put a little bit of work into the application, and I will be happy to reccomend to my friends--but in 2020, having a tech-positive interface is essential.
Specifically rating the app, this is more like a mobile website in their own browser. It doesn't save any login info. I do like the way it shows how many bonds you have and your interest payments and past history. Definitely needs to be rebuilt into an actual app. Also, for appx. the past 6 weeks, there have been no bonds to purchase so if you don't already have an account, or even if you do there is not much of a point to download it. Kudos to Worthy for paying attention to ratings & concerns
This is a review of the app itself, not the service provided. I wish I didn't have to login (sometimes twice in a row) every other time I open the app. Would be nice if a login token was cached and refreshed for me. Also, kind of strange that the × in the top left corner logs you out. Not very initiutive UX. Again, I like the concept but the UI/UX needs a bit of work (though it is visually appealing).
App experience is kind of sad. Constantly logs you out and the appearance reminds me of a stale website. Bonds can take up to 7 business days to be credited, meaning if you purchase some you can expect over a week to actually see them post due to the weekend. Everything does seem to work -- just very sluggish bonds and lack of luster in the UI. I was hoping for a better experience.
Another reviewer wrote that the app is more like a web link and I think you can't explain it better than that. I read comments that the company is working on a redesign, but they are 2 years old, so I guess it won't be happening. I don't like that I can connect only one card for round ups. The transfers take about 3-4 business days. I really wish it's possible to log in with fingerprint. I love the concept, so I'll keep using it! But definitely hope for some improvements in the app!
As others have noted the app is pretty basic little more than an embedded mobile website. Not much point for new users until new bonds are approved.
I really wish you wouldn't offer updates that say you have a new bond offering when you clearly don't.
Great app that pays 5 percent interest!! Connect it to your bank and it will automatically invest the change left over from your purchases. This app saves for you automatically without you having to think about it. It really adds up quickly!! Get it. You won't be dissapointed!
I have used worthy for years at this point, no new bonds have been approved for a significant amount of time (so much time that I think they've given up) the app is also poorly optimized and uses an in app browser to login making it difficult to save login information. Just integrate your login into your app for God's sake!
This app is great but has one big flaw. It does not have calendars. This makes setting automatic purchases virtually impossible as you have to have to wait for the date you want to set a recurring purchase and manually buy the 1st bond for every calendar day you want a recurring monthly purchase to happen on. Then to monitor them you have to have a calendar next to you because all Worthy says is that you purchased a bond x days ago. No date.
They really need to take out the word "just" in their "We just sold out all our bonds!" message. They've been sold out for 8 months. I've been wanting to make a deposit for nearly a year now. It seems like a safe place to park your money though. Compounds daily, but considering moving my money elsewhere since I can't do anything more with it.
I like the investment so far it is another way to diversify and create passive income. Being able to withdraw at anytime with no penalties does help dilute some risk, unlike REIT's which are illiquid in nature. I hope the app design gets better for example adding a way to track the interest, and showing how the bond proceeds are affecting the businesses. I would like them to add the ability to utilizes multiple banks, and hopefully raise the interest on the bonds in the future.
So far, this investing option and corresponding app seem to have a lot of potential. I definitely am interested in seeing where this company goes in terms of long-term viability. Unfortunately, this app is seriously lacking features found in nearly every investing app: Remember Me feature for login with a PIN to login quickly, 2 Factor authentication, more in-depth data like investment value over time, and the ability to change account info (password, etc) in the app. Still, I recommend this!
They kept my money and can't access my account. The app doesn't work I login and get looped in circles. I get email from Marla to try again yes okay I've been trying to see my account activity for months. I opened this account probably 3 years I go I literally set it and forget it because I was skeptical and with good reason. Close my account and release all my funds. I won't ask again.
Their app is horrible. When trying to access the app. it returns an error, and I have brought it up to their attention, but they can't figure it out. Unfortunately, the only work around is accessing it through the web.
Was having issues with app password, but contacted customer service and received a prompt reply and with which I was able to resolve the issue. So far so good. My only issue currently with the app is the inability to use fingerprint recognition to securely access account information. Hopefully that might come soon?
I cannot log in after the latest app update.
Does what it says. The BIGGEST issue is the ability to set up bonds faster. Missing out on precious days of interest for each bond adds up over the long haul. One of my bonds is 6 days and counting. Otherwise great return! Maybe a pin setup like other apps?
When I tried to log it, it tells me I have a call back/authentication error. I couldnt log in until i logged in using an email link (NOT THE APP ITSELF) You guys need to fix that since...well your company is focusing on online app. Also, the sign up process seems a bit sketchy for someone whom doesnt know your brand yet. I would suggest improve the look of the signup process. The UI is definitely not the best I have ever seen and doesnt increase my confidence when signing up for a financial firm.
It seems pretty decent, but my ourchased binds never move from pending and it always says purchased 3 days ago, but its been mich longer now. Edit: after the initial setup its gotten better. I love being able to see the interest update daily. The interest passed my annual savings account interest in three days. This is service is truly worthy.
Good app and good concept for conservative investment. However, it doesn't support multiple funding sources which makes things slower. They say it's planned in their technology roadmap and currently not supported for fraud prevention which doesn't make sense. Because of this issue I have to sell all bonds and then link another bank an start investing again. Just imagine the pain I had.
A+++ This app is very simple to setup and use, does just what it says - provides 5% interest. Don't be thrown off by the word "Bonds", it doesn't lock up your funds and any accrued interest is yours to keep regardless of when you withdraw. Think of it as a 5%interest bank account (which the highest bank accounts are around 2%interest IF you maintain a $100,000 balance), so it's a great deal! You can put in as little as $10 or as much as you want, great way to save/invest and diversify a portfolio with these guaranteed returns, especially in this current turbulent stock market. A paid personal financial advisor will tell you 7%/yr is good then they take fees and your left with 5%/yr anyways, plus risk of the market declining, this is a great way to do it yourself without the risk! SUMMARY: Great savings tool. Does exactly as it says. No tricks in the fine print. Earn 5% on your money with the ability to deposit and withdraw anytime.
Love this app so far. It does what it tells you in the description. Customer service is a plus. They get back to you in no time. Just wish the bank options change. But for security reasons I understand. Just have to withdraw what I have and start over no biggie. Thank you Worthy, job well done.
Beautiful and simple design, easy to use and understated, and great straightforward investment. Only issue is it doesn't let me stay signed in, and it doesn't have Fingerprint authentication.
I'm hoping the product manager or whoever has the authority to make the necessary changes reads this review. When a user signs up at worthy they are taken to a page that they can put their bank info in. Most people I referred thought this was mandatory and did not see the option to skip entering bank info and did not hit done and complete their onboarding process. Please make it more apparent and easier for users to complete their onboarding and send them reminders.
I could not load any of my bank information on the app. Not sure why it is not working. After 3 months of fighting the app I finally got e everything to work! had to use a different account too than the one I wanted. I love the rounding option a lot! in about half a month I got about 25 in round ups!
It does what it advertises..its an easy way to purchase bomds and earn interest on them but I have not been able to cash out the freebie yet. On all these investment and referal aps with free stock, bonds, crytpo incentives I use and learn them and then I try to cash them out to see if it really does what it says. Its like test driving a used car for me..but this one doesn't want me to cash out for some reason..maybe im missing something...maybe
It really wasn't that bad of an app. But unfortunately, while the rest of the world moves on from the pandemic, Worthy Capital lags behind due to, if you want my opinion, lack of care to get more bonds to sell. To be honest, I don't know the complete process. All I know, is absolutely everything is making strides moving past the pandemic, while Worthy is still sitting at day one of the pandemic. You can't buy an bonds with this app anymore and it's been that way for years.
