10/11/18 Downloaded easy on my Galaxy Note 8, I'm assuming it worked ok, I haven't had but 1 issue with it. That would be it pops up & blocks page where you can only see the edges and gives you 2 choices to pick from,🔹️get out of site or🔹️ignore & look at page/site anyway. Above it always reads the same warning issues which is everything possible. I know some of these sites are safe to use as I've used them many times & well known sites like Google search. But when I choose ignore & continue to use site.... it won't let me. So you can't use what you need. I'm having to removed it completely cause its blocking too many pages that I need & I know are safe. Have other protection like this on phone that doesn't do this. I just wanted to be extra safe.
Because there very less ads and many options are free not paid like other antivirus apps ,but where there is an advantage there is an disadvantage it doesn't has vpn and antitheft options which must be there in any antivirus apps and another disadvantage is it always ask for buying the premium version whenever I open the app but its a very good app
This app has identified a number of unsafe sites that i clicked on while surfing the web. It gives you the option to not visit the website. It has been useful for me but now i think i might use another service. I read an article that discredits WOT's trustworthiness by their collecting and selling my personal information to third parties. So I don't know if I can trust WOT any longer. I am confused and suspicious now. It turns out Google and Chrome already search for phishing websites.
This app does check a blacklist and let you know if the site is on the blacklist. It also says in the privacy policy that they collect and share your IP address, and any social media network registration information, including profile pictures and names. Unless you frequent questionable sites regularly, this app presents more of a privacy issue than it prevents.
I like the idea behind this extension but I have to give it a bad review because it's being used to cynically red flag legitimate political sites. I have no idea if WOT is aware of the issue but I won't increase my review until the problem is resolved. As it is now it suppresses democratic expression. Wikipedia does a good job with political content. I'd suggest looking at their approach.
WOT rules tbh. They deliver what they promise. No less, no more. Way more effective than those rather famous and expensive apps than seem to do nothing but collect data from your device. Shout outs to WOT for their earnestness and professionalism. It can all get better, though. Keep improving this app. Many people need this. Also, the Chrome plug-in is the best. Cheers!
I've used WoT for years, and my only cpmplaint is that it seems to be alittle more confusing to use. It could be that i've been trying to use it with samsung 500C Chromebook with I haven't fully learned. I'll comment later as I learn more
Nothing like the desktop version. This Android app lacks 90% of the functionality of it's desktop equivalent. I was extremely disappointed.
Has helped me many times when I inadvertantly click on a questionable web site. A bit overly complicated, but given time it's not difficult to figure out.
This app is great if you want someone to decide for you what you are and are not allowed to see, with little explanation or configurability. You could probably join a cult and get similar service.
Just a stupid system. They can't detect the threats properly. It's not worth of installing on your Phone. Just waste of time and waste of memory space. It should be wiped out of Play store!

Though tried to stay outside the loop i got phised and was frustrated by the contiual being misdirected to a page or web site i had not asked to navigate to interrupted everything caused problems in my relationship now i have WOT AND THINGS ARE SUCURE AND NOMORE QUESTIONABLE POPUPS IN MY RELATIONSHIP..... THANKS ...WOT...
Just plain useless. At least add an option to manually block a website via link I have tried that but it doesn't working. All i want is redirects to stop
useless. lists my companies (+50k in the US alone) employee website as a risk and it doesn't give the option to save it as an exception. you guys might need a new programming team, with ppl that know what they are doing...
I don't know what to think. About WOT app? I hope it's a good idea to have. Please don't let me down. I have been hearing of WOT for years before I got mobile internet phone. Or anything else. I also hesitate about it. So far. But I hope you are everything that experts say you are. And also my internet computer teacher's. Every where they say WOT is a great help and app. Judy. M.
Tells me my fully secure WiFi is insecure, but doesn't tell me why. Not very useful! Needs DuckDuckGo browser integration.
Used for years on my PC it just sits in the background doing is job, only showing if a bad link is click.
its awesome ... only 1 suggestion that is please " include a app lock feature so that no one else can change wot's settings " ...
My personal experience is awesome. It's more than I expected. It's a beginner's dream. It's a novices learning experience.
The new version is too confusing. I couldn't figure out what was protected and what wasn't. I uninstalled.
I'm rating this app 5 because on face value and impressions it has convinced me that it can deliver on it's stated abilities as required. If it doesn't I'll take stars of as required so you guys

A good app for technologically challenged people but it has a few annoyances for me. The constant notification, inability to turn off functions and a general lack of settings. I just need it to warn of dodgy websites. I don't want it to scan my apps, my WiFi or anything else.
