Not working from sign-in. I downloaded this app thinking it would be good to have it, but find it useless. Password updated and it won't a let me sign in, saying something went wrong. On the other hand, the email and text messages are enough so don't bother with this app.
Had to rebook flights due to covid cancellation. It was very difficult to do after 1hr of being on the phone and giving credit card details they hung up no call back and had to start all again. 10min in and we had only discussed rebooking then put on hold for over 10minutes. The flights were cheaper and was charged a change of flight fee. I wont be booking this way again very difficult when there is an issue.
I've tried 3 times to book a trip (hotel and flights) and it will not finalise after all information is entered. Tried to book on different days incase there was an issue just on that date. A shame Nevada searching and pricing is good, hence why not 1 star... but what's the point of you cant book.
I would say "wotif in Expedia clothing"(I was told at a hotel that my wotif booking is actually Expedia booking) are more complicit in the art of deception ,colluding or ignoring the rating stars of the hotels as a rule I would say all of the hotels I have stayed at over the last 2 weeks are 1-1.5 stars higher that they should be shown and I have stayed it will be 5 hotels in 2weeks..."wotif" they actually locally verify hotel ratings there would be a lot more 3 star = less $ skimmed from us
Frustrating as ever. User name or password fields the keyboard will not show. When trying to sign in. ??????
Don't use this joke of an app, wotif just rip you off won't contact you back and just take your money or give a refund, I've lost a lot of money cause I made the mistake of trusting them, they don't even contact the place where your staying to confirm or cancel your trip
Avoid this at all cost, fine if everything works, but if anything goes wrong they do nothing. One leg or return flight booked the other did not work, all they can say is phone airline yourself, no help, no customers service and no responsibility, stay far away from this
Even with the itinerary number and correct email address the app will not find my booking. Makes it hard to change it. Had to ring and go through an electronic answering system before finally speaking to a human who was nice and helpful but had a very strong accent and was hard to understand. Not sure if I'll use wotif again, in this ever changing world of covid, I need easy access to change bookings.
I am trying to access a refund redeem for qantas and i cant get into the app. I cant remember my password and its not sending the reset to my email.
Can't sign in to the app. Keyboard disappears after putting in 2 characters.
Terrible. Can't change a flight. Robot phone call hangs up on me.
Used Wotif to plan and book two weeks self drive in southern NZ. Only one booking failed and one destination did not offer me an accomodation option. A number of times discounts did not automatically apply to the booking and were not retrospectives. Overall a very good one stop shop that rolled over every day into my Google schedule and maps and feedback requests followed directly after. Most importantly, the standard of accomodation lived up to the reviews I read prior to selection. Thank you.
Terrible experience and service. Wotif cancelled my booking without explanation, then when I called up immediately to have it rebooked, the only room left at the hotel was a suite which was much more expensive than the room I'd originally booked. Customer service were unable to assist me, or offer me a discount to make up for their mistake.
Worst service ever. The hotel I stayed at credited one night for me back to wotif and I'm still waiting for it. That was back in February. Sent numerous emails. Spoke to four different people on the phone today who were vague and unhelpful. The app is useless. No credits found so where is my $$$$. Look at your poor reviews!!
I will not use wot if again 😤 I could not get any response from them to cancel a booking withIn the dates allowed and even my hotel tried and had no success VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE 😡
Unable to sign in due to technical issues
Through the COVID-19 situation the app has been totally useless. No problems can be resolved or dealt with or the inability to contact anyone unless one calls. Have not been able to contact anyone in 5 days to cancel bookings due to COVID-19 . As such I've lost credits for flights i could not board even though the airlines offered credits. I've lost hotel bookings be cause i could not get through to anyone. I've lost $1000s
Disgusting service have been trying to call to get assistance with my holiday package to Bali they do not answer the phone at all you are left on hold waiting for eight hours then the phone call shuts downs they tell you to go on line and you can cancel or change your booking but when you do it says you cannot cancel at this time please call wotif and the process starts all over again and as for saying you are updating the app that did not happen either as I was told that at the start as well
I have used this app before and every time I have my booking details sorted and pay, this app jumps me to a different date(s). When it is realised that the dates are wrong they still charge 1 nights rate to cancel. My last booking I have witnesses to the dates booked who confirmed dates were correct , and it still jumped me to a different month. I am deleting this app.
I had an issue with a flight change. Wotif customer service help me a lot. They were very responsive and offered me a bunch of different options. In less that 24h my issue was solved for my advantage. For me, it was a relief the fact that I had no to deal with the airflight directly, which most of the cases, its very painful process.
Great app and a great company. I have used wotif with absolute confidence for the past 10 years. It has always delivered quality and prompt service. It is like having your own personal travel agent without having to talk to anyone.
Suddenly can't connect for alittle over a month now. Updated to the latest version, cleared cache, Uninstaller and reinstalled. I won't be doing any other tasks on my phone to make it work. I won't simply use it.
Worst booking agent ever come acrossed. Had a booking with them, but due to the covid 19 outbreak and government restrictions we have to reschedule our booking, there was literally hopeless from them for rescheduling our booking, even the hotel i booked willing to hope but Wotif still managed to do nothing, it was end up with cancelling my booking, no rescheduling, no refund, Bravo Wotif, farewell Wotif !
Car rental ad stated insurance included but it required advanced payment which I paid. When I went to pick up car, I was required to pay the full amount of the excess due if car was stolen or damaged. 3000.00 was demanded so I couldn't take car as planned. I wasn't told I could have paid extra insurance and the 3000.00 would not be required, I was just told to contact Wotif because booking was with them. I have been told the advanced payment was not refundable. This is a rort!!
Don't help with anything.. changes your dates while booking then when you call to fix it wotif tell you they need to charge a fee when it clearly states they don't.. so when you read this out to them they tell you it's the hotels policy but after speaking to the hotel directly this clearly isn't the case.. I will be deleting this app and never using Wotif again.....and if I could give them less than 1 star I would..
Easy to use and very helpful
So easy to use to organise trips; flights, hotels and a car. I don't have to go searching different sites, its all in one place. Very convenient!!
Terrible, cannot cancel my booking as they're uncontactable via any method; email was undeliverable, numbers aren't connected or when one does work it won't recognise the itinerary number and hangs up on you. Can't cancel via the app as it doesn't work, nor is a virtual agent available to chat. Choosing cancel simply doesn't work. Absolutely disgusting, will never use again.
