WOW! Ultra TV

UPDATE - WOW! app does not stream or seem to see my DVR or WOW! devices. I have Tv, phone and internet. The remote function does not work. It can't see my DVR or HD tv device. You can sync with both but that gets you nothing no ability to stream TV or recorded content. It allows you to record and manage shows only. Not clear what the purpose of this app is and no luck getting it to work. There is a beta Wow!+ app but that won't even load. Dissappointing.

This app is a joke . It does everything your remote does. Xfinity app allows you to stream movies, live t.v., set reminders, record shows. WOW is the perfect name for disappointment! WOW price is very close if not the same as Xfinity but doesn't have near the ability to compete with Xfinity. Coming from a person that has had both networks....don't bother with WOW...they offer low rate to get you to switch. But that all changes once contract is up.

I have had minor issues in the past but always after contacting customer support im always satisfied in the end.. Great app over all. It's like a freebie if you already have service. Wish I would have known about this app the whole time I have had my service. Honestly app should be advertised more with the service, great incentive.

You can look at all you have recorded, delete easily what you dont want to keep, and use your remote all from your phone. The guide is easy to see. Perfect in every way!!

They really deserve no stars I've had issue after issue with wow since I've had them. When I was out of contract I had no issues but when I called to ask them to lower my bill my services went out so I reset the main modem every thing came back up. The next day one of my phone lines was down. I called they couldn't fix that they kept resetting the main modem so they schedule me an appointment after hanging from that call I had no cable or internet. So now it's the weekend i have no services and

Recently installed WOW service and this app on my phone. When I try to access my account from the app it tells me that i need MEDIA GATEWAY but does not allow me to initiate the function from the app nor does it give me instructions on how to do so. Very poor service. And investigation shows that this APP is not for, nor does i function outside of specific areas.

This app is so stupid you can't get into it half the time and when you do you are unable to watch any shows and when I tried to call them all they did was transfer me to people who I could barely understand! I was told I would be able to watch shows off of it while I was traveling

Downloaded the app. Called wow when it did not stream to my device only to be given the run around and then after 3 phone calls be told the app is actually up and running yet on their end. Waste of time... Typical for Wow when they 1st started they were a good company now they don't care about their customers and their service has continued to worsen over the years.

If other people would read about this app before they try to stream, view their account, pay their bill, and whatever else, then the WOW Ultra TV app could be higher rated. Personally, I love this app for what it does. My only problem is that the Grid Guide comes up blank sometimes and, so, I need to fidget with the app a little.

FYI..... Just called WOW to find out why I can't login to this app when I already have a WOW login account registered with them. Come to find out you have to have Internet & Cable service to gain access. If you only have Internet and try to sign in, it tells you that you need Media Gateway installed. Hope this helps others. Would be nice if they had an app for just the Internet costumers ;)

Junk app, does nothing but what your remote can do. No live streaming, no real benefits of Mobil watch or anything. Too bad I'm stuck in contract.. 6 months and I'm gone!! Signed stuck with WOW and internet keeps dropping to boot!!

This app worked for awhile then it stopped. It keeps telling me that it cannot connnect. I have tried multiple times but no go. Very disappointing.

This is the only app that works well with my WOW cable company. Some times the conteols diappear but they come back quickly. I wish I knew why this app works so well and the other 10 don't.

This is one of the poorest sites that I have ever seen. It has never taken email and password and I end up calling in every month to pay my bill. This is silly I have called at least three or more times to correct this and nothing works.

I'm so glad that this app is back! It runs perfectly on my LG 30+. The next step for developers would be to get more competitive in the ISP market give it the ability for customers to be able to stream programs on their phones.

It doesn't let you stream and watch anything. The app keeps saying not able to stream on your device whether I use a tablet or cell phone.

So we have Wow internet service but nothing else like cable or phone and we can't use this app just for that very reason so whenever we want to pay our bill we have to make a call or go to Wow Way actual login site to do so and that is very inconvenient. Do better.

Get unable to stream this content on this device for all dvr'ed content. Waste of space on my phone. Removed it 5 minutes after downloading. Lots other people seem to have the same problem and no help from Wow so I'm not even going to waste anytime on this.

This app works great with my WOW cable until it disappears. Why does it vanish? It says something about can't find network. Why? Now ( June 2021) it doesn't even start.

I keep getting "unable to stream to your device" or "unable to stream to an android phone". This app is useless and I'm uninstalling. Do I need to switch cable companies?

This app is trash. Literally nothing on it works. Can't use any of the features. Wow is a horrible service so I shouldn't have expected any of it to work

Downloaded app and logged in. Says I need gateway media - previous comment says internet and cable needed....I have a bundled cable, internet and phone package. So why am I unable to log in and benefit from using app??

Installed the app and could even get the terms of use to come up. Deleted it and never even got to use it. Typical of my experiences with wow.

Cant log in from the main screen always have to go to create account then sign in so annoying....Wow as a cable company is straight 🗑i will be switching to charter

Absolutely infuriating. Controller broke so I'm using this......it rarely works......garbage.

Very disapointing and very bad cant even stream anything from live tv or movies.
