Works, but slow to load and unreliable when running in background
Seems to have buffering issues. The audio frequently stops playing, but the app is still open. The website player doesn't have this behavior. So it really seems to be buginess in the mobile app.
This is a nice app for listening to NPR and looking at news stories. I haven't used the TV part of it. The app loads quickly and takes up very little storage space on my phone.
Very convenient way to access my favorite shows.. plus I can pull up ones that I've missed . There are no ads...being it's public radio they do have occasional membership drives. I'm happy to contribute for top notch content.
I like the app for the service it provides but it cuts out a lot. it'll just stop in the middle of a broadcast. Sometimes it picks up again sometimes it doesn't. Very frustrating.
Indispensable app that allows me to check at a glance when all my favourite British shows, murder mysteries, and Masterpiece Classics are airing on my primary PBS station, WPSU, State College, Penna. All-around superb programming with a special shout-out to three of my current faves: Father Brown, Midsomer Murders, and Grantchester. At first it was not easy to figure out which stream to listen to.

Easy, to use allows me to access wpsu even from across the border when I travel internationally. update Feb 2019: lately, when I open the app, it fails. I close it, restart, and all is well. I dont know the nature of the glitch, but it is annoying.
It's indispensable.
Apps seems to work pretty well, but a lot of what it does can be easily gotten via other routes like podcasts or the NPR app. The events section is very useful. Wish there was a way to access not just WPSU-sponsored events, but the entire community calendar, a great service WPSU provides on their full website. Can we get this in a future version?
Love it. If I hear an interesting story, I can more easily find it because it's tied top the WPSU schedule.
I use this app for my radio feed back use my reception is lousy over broadcast and I like the jazz feed.
It's GREAT to be able to take WPSU radio anywhere in the house with me. I'm not stuck next to the radio. 😊

I'm an NPR junkie and use the WPSU app every day to get my fix, mostly listening to the live broadcast, but sometimes I'll stream the other shows.
