SECOND EDIT: The ads are gone and the app is fuctioning again. Thank you!! I'm changing my rating. EDIT: This app now has a non-skipable video ad when viewing any forecasts or weather alerts. You cannot close the ad and there's no option at all to get rid of it. I've lowered my rating to reflect that.
Most times it won't follow me. If you look at the weather somewhere else most times it will only show you that weather and not change back to your preferences. This app goes off all through the day notifying you of your NON preferences! Really annoying and it's very loud!
I noticed when the alerts come in and when I play the video to get an update it doesn't have any sound to the video. This has happened several times. Sometimes I have sound and sometimes I don't.
Very nice informative.glad it was selection for the app. Store i very much incoureage to everyone for their weather info. Site,, plus i was a big fan of wrdw for many years since a yng teen n old enough to understand news broadcasting like news sports and weather. Enjoy the station and the broadcaster thats always served it...
The app has a lot of different features and the forecast seems to be spot on. The hour by hour feature is one that comes in handy when you are thinking about going out. The app has so much more that you just have to try it for yourself. Take care, stay safe and healthy, happy New Year to all. Used that app for a couple years...then about a month ago started getting these obnoxiously loud alerts 'a new station alert has arrived" These didn't show as alerts or notifications and no way to turn them off, so I delted the app.
I love the app however the videos more often than not have no audio. The commercials of course have sound but the forecast videos will have no sound
The app has really gotten slow at loading in the past week. Ever since the last update it's very laggy and notifications are delayed.
Great app! One improvement would be with the widget. It would be great to see the highs and lows in the 3 day forecast.
Great app ... Great weather reports and notifications. But now and then the GPS was off and it threw me in Lincolnton, Georgia.... Almost 18 miles from me
I just had tornado warning on my phone..so I hurry and download the app and what happens I have to watch dang commercials!! Got to be kidding me!

An annoying message is audible no matter what you have requested in the settings. It says an alert has been received but it doesn't say what it is and there is no way to see the alert in the app. Also the videos had no audio. The ads in the beginning work fine but when the actual video starts you can't hear them. I Uninstalled the app.
