Write in Runic: Rune Writer & Keyboard

I've found this app very useful, but I'm a little frustrated that after paying in for premium features, upon moving to a new phone I'm being shown some pretty intrusive advertisements again. I also find the settings a little tricky to access, but that's small fish in comparison to the advertisement issue.

The app itself is thorough and easy to follow. While it doesn't have a lot of ads in a sense, many features are locked behind pay walls. However, the translating, as well as audio samples on how to pronounce the runes are really top notch.

Used this for years and would suggest a way to copy and paste in a manner that any cellular device can pick up the script/code as it does not work well on every device. Other than that, it's a go to application for sending runic sentences in teaching others the art of understanding the ancient languages.

Plenty of features...the translator app is very useful. However I do have the full version of the app and the system keyboard function refuses to work...well it worked once then dissapoofed. Will keep my eye on the app for future improvements. I rate it 3 stars as they full version seems to need some tuning...but as the free translation app is great on its own I would recommend to others to have a look.

HOW MANY ADS PER SQUARE INCH!? fam I'm just trying to write my messages and then all the sudden I get over FIVE pop up ads in my face and sometimes it freezes the app for me! It is a good app granted (well it was) but ever since them pop up ads came in, it's just made my experience hell. 3 stars, the app is really good and well-made and the research is spot on, but the amount of ads I receive every 10 seconds is just ridiculous.

I love this app so much but I keep getting the "upgrade to premium for the keyboard" error. Even though I've had premium since day one. I see that you guys are working on it, so that's good. 😘

This app is worth the money. There are extras and pronunciation rune poems and it seems to play well with the rest of the phone. I enjoy this app a lot.

I paid for the app thinking it would remove the ads but i still see em popping up. Otherwise great app.

My daughter and I love communicating in Runic. So far this app functions with both of our phones. An Apple iPhone and a Google Pixel 6.

Love the keyboard. Absolutely. Maybe I just need some help if this is a setting already but if I could have an option to turn off the English letters on the rune keyboard it would be amazing.

Definitely recommend this as it looks like the devs put some work into making this seamless and well fitted with the standard keyboard layouts. I also highly recommend premium since the features are worth the price. Good job guys!

It's a good app. I thought when I bought it that I could incorporate the key board to my own and choose which one i wanted to use. If you can I have no idea how and can't figure it out. It's nice though

Purchased version has ads. If you don't like ads, don't purchase this app.

I really like the amount of information that comes along with each incarnation of the language. Through this app, amongst other sources, I am merrily deciphering the English alphabet one jaw dropping homage to the gods after another. It has been quite the departure from the tongue in cheek search I began sourcing out the origin of the F-word. I am also rapidly working on altering my word usage to make sure I keep in line with what those, said gods, intended by gifting us such a powerful tongue.

I like it but.. a lot of people I send it too don't receive the lettering. they simply get boxes with an 'x' in the center. I'm guess that has to do with the compatibility on their phone as well as the age of the system, as both my iOS and Android do not have this problem. I enjoy it nonetheless. Very good way to learn and teach yourself as well if one wanted too.

I like it. pretty good interface, nicely made, works quickly, well-researched and I could probably go on and on but I'll just touch briefly on it's relatively few flaws and then end this. I wish it supported more languages, but the producers are hard at work on that so I can hardly complain on that front, however my main complaint is hardly any more drastic. I just wish fewer features were behind a paywall. In conclusion... I like it.

I love this app! Simple interface. Ads are pretty much ignorable, you don't see them very much. Writing in runic is an amazing experience for those who want to learn ancient runes. Just 2 minor issues. I don't know the inputs for certain runes. For example if i wanted to write "ᚿ" the description says "Khuzdul reversed schwa", but not what letter or letter combination you need to write it. For the other issue, it's only about not being able to set these runes on your keyboard.

Does what it says, it is very useable with the free options and so far it's been obvious when a particular function or feature is not free or can be purchased for either by viewing a short advertisement or with the paid version (sometimes both options are available) . All in all a good and upfront about costs application, more should use this kind of template for their applications well done guys!)

Super useful for comparing/contrasting different rune sets from across multiple regions. I've thoroughly enjoyed exploring the similarities and differences of the included rune sets, as well as furthering my understanding of the Younger and Elder Futhark during my studies of Norse culture and history. Only gave 4 stars because you can't save an image of translated text. It can only be shared through various social media as an image or text (if your device supports the character settings).

pretty good app, would of liked it if u could access some of the advanced features without paying for them. A 2 or 3 day trial might be a nice idea so people can see what the locked features can actually do. especially for people like me who are reluctant to pay for additional features and such.

Purchased the pro version ages ago, just installed on a new phone using the same email and its trying to make me buy it again

Useless, half of the Runic and Old Runic are unavailable for free, and you get a simple translator and a context of the different Rubic scripts, can't even write in Runic as it says in the app title, creator is a scammer.

Love this app have the keyboard installed on my phone and definitely do not regret my purchase highly recommended by this Drengr ᛋᚴᚬᛚ

Its great but i seem to be having troble using the color setings᛫᛫᛫ they dont work

I Fixed the problem.😁 Just so the devopers know when I had the Facebook alternative app called Swipe Pro I had an issue with the space bar glitching out on the status update bar. It would move the cursor to the right but remain where it was. Then would add runes directly next to the previous character If I physically clicked to the right of the cursor it would jump there, behaving like I had already spaced to the right. But the space bar was completely unresponsive in every rune variant option

Awesome app. Easy to use, format is not complicated. Much like Google translate.

Love using this. Helping me to learn and is a good tool for use with my page Jewels of Asgard.
